Abstract

Peningkatan jumlah jamaah haji lanjut usia (lansia) memerlukan pendekatan pelayanan yang holistik, termasuk aspek psikososial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi optimalisasi pelayanan haji ramah lansia dengan pendekatan psikososial pada Kantor Kementerian Agama. Metode penelitian kualitatif digunakan untuk memahami tantangan dan peluang dalam implementasi pendekatan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kendala dan peluang dalam pelayanan haji ramah lansia serta merumuskan strategi optimalisasi yang sesuai. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan wawancara mendalam di lokasi manasik haji serta embarkasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelayanan bagi lansia masih menghadapi kendala dalam aspek infrastruktur, sumber daya manusia, dan teknologi. Dukungan emosional, interaksi sosial, dan kesiapan mental lansia memainkan peran penting dalam keberhasilan pelaksanaan ibadah haji. Integrasi layanan psikososial ke dalam program pelayanan haji melalui pelatihan petugas, fasilitas pendampingan, dan kegiatan berbasis komunitas. Pelaksanaan ibadah haji bagi jamaah lanjut usia (lansia) menghadirkan tantangan khusus, baik dari segi fisik, mental, maupun logistik.  Rekomendasi yang diusulkan mencakup peningkatan fasilitas ramah lansia, pelatihan petugas, dan pengembangan teknologi pendukung. Optimalisasi pelayanan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pengalaman ibadah haji bagi lansia. Keterbatasan penelitian ini hanya dilakukan pada wilayah atau instansi tertentu yang menyelenggarakan pelayanan haji bagi lansia, sehingga hasilnya belum tentu dapat digeneralisasikan ke daerah atau negara lain dengan kebijakan dan kondisi yang berbeda.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini penulis bertujuan menganalisis makna gelar haji dari sekelompok masyarakat di Desa Tepimulyo Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data melalui wawancara semi terstruktur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa makna haji terbagi menjadi tiga; makna sosial, makna religius dan makna ekonomi. Makna sosial pertama diartikan dengan pengalaman haji yang telah dilalui dapat disebarkan melalui acara sosial untuk berbagi kepada sesama. Makna sosial kedua berisi perubahan status sosial pasca haji tidak serta merta bisa langsung diterima. Ada yang menolak diberikan gelar haji dan hajah di depan namanya, ada juga yang menganggap harus diberikan gelar di depan namanya untuk mengenang perjuangan selama beribadah di Tanah Suci. Dan makna sosial terakhir dalam pembahasan berisi perubahan yang diinginkan oleh masyarakat sekitar tempat tinggal para haji yaitu lebih baik dalam menjalankan ibadah dan memperbaiki perilaku sekembalinya dari tanah suci. Makna religius diartikan sebagai identitas baru setelah menjalankan ibadah haji. Ketiga, makna ekonomi menurut masyarakat Desa Tepimulyo menitikberatkan pada besarnya biaya ibadah haji, maka sepulangnya di tanah diberikan gelar haji sebagai penghormatan karna dianggap mampu dari segi finansial. Terakhir, makna gelar haji sendiri dipahami sebagai pemahaman masyarakat dalam menilai bagaimana perbedaan kepribadian dan kebiasaan individu setelah menjalankan ibadah haji.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas strategi PT. Dania Dzulqronain Jepara dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan jemaah haji khusus. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini mencakup bagaimana strategi yang diterapkan dalam meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan, faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan jemaah, dan bagaimana penerapan Model Kano dalam menganalisis kebutuhan jemaah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi strategi pelayanan yang diterapkan, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi kepuasan jemaah, dan mengevaluasi efektivitas strategi tersebut menggunakan Model Kano. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studi literature. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT. Dania Dzulqornain menerapkan Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) yang fleksibel, melakukan evaluasi rutin 2-4 kali sebulan, dan memberikan layanan tambahan di luar layanan dasar untuk meningkatkan kepuasan jemaah. Analisis menggunakan Model Kano mengidentifikasi tiga kategori kebutuhan jemaah: must-be (kebutuhan dasar), one-dimensional (kebutuhan kinerja), dan attractive (kebutuhan kejutan). Meskipun biro belum memiliki sistem pengukuran kepuasan formal, komunikasi intensif dan evaluasi rutin menjadi kunci dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengembangan sistem pengukuran kepuasan berbasis data untuk meningkatkan evaluasi kinerja secara objektif dan memastikan keberlanjutan peningkatan kualitas pelayanan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management of SERVQUAL service strategies in Umrah worship for physically disabled pilgrims at PT. Harum Bina Wisata, Indramayu. To ensure that physically disabled pilgrims can perform Umrah worship smoothly and solemnly, PT. Harum Bina Wisata has developed a special strategy that focuses on meeting the needs of pilgrims with physical disabilities. The methodology used in this study is descriptive qualitative, which is based on field analysis. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with (managers, staff of PT. Harum Bina Wisata, and physically disabled pilgrims), and documentation which was then analyzed thematically to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the five dimensions of SERVQUAL: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results of the study indicate that the main strength of the bureau lies in its experience and deep understanding of the needs of physically disabled pilgrims. The tangible dimension is reflected in disability-friendly facilities, such as wheelchairs, hotel accessibility, and safe and comfortable transportation. The reliability and assurance dimensions are seen in the consistency of service and the ability of staff to ensure the safety and comfort of pilgrims during the trip. Responsiveness is demonstrated through the bureau's ability to respond to sudden needs, while empathy is seen in a personal approach that fosters a sense of appreciation among pilgrims. Although the results show quite high satisfaction, a significant challenge faced is the limited number of workers with special skills in serving pilgrims with physical disabilities. Therefore, it is recommended to develop special training for staff, improve the quality and quantity of facilities, and collaborate with disability organizations to improve the quality of service. This study is expected to provide a significant contribution in creating a more inclusive and quality Umrah service for pilgrims with physical disabilities at PT. Harum Bina Wisata.

Abstract

This research discusses the discourse on shifting madhhabs (intiqalul madhhab) in the context of wukuf based on two seminal works in Islamic jurisprudence: al-Fiqh ‘ala al-Madhāhib al-Arba‘ah by Abdulrahman al-Juzairi and al-Fiqh al-Islāmī wa Adillatuhu by Wahbah az-Zuhaili. The diversity of legal interpretations among the four major Sunni madhhabs (Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi‘i, and Hanbali) has made the issue of switching madhhabs a relevant topic, particularly in pilgrimage rituals like wukuf, where the validity of worship can depend on specific legal requirements. This research aims to analyze how both scholars frame the concept of intiqāl al-madhhab, and to evaluate its relevance to contemporary hajj practices. The study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, using descriptive-comparative analysis of both texts to explore methodological similarities and differences. The findings reveal that both works support the legitimacy of madhhab transition under certain shar‘i conditions. Al-Juzairi emphasizes the comparative diversity of fiqh rulings and presents detailed mazhab-based legal options for wukuf. Az-Zuhaili, on the other hand, strengthens this flexibility through in-depth textual analysis and the application of maqāṣid al-sharī‘ah. The study concludes that shifting madhhabs can serve as a practical and theologically grounded solution for pilgrims facing complex or difficult situations. This aligns with the Islamic legal maxims promoting ease and removing hardship, making intiqāl al-madhhab a valid contemporary approach in ritual practice.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the post-acquisition integration of PT Arrahmah Muhammadiyah using the Structure–Conduct–Performance (SCP) approach. The acquisition represents an internal affiliation within the Muhammadiyah organization, marked by the transfer of authority and assets from the Kendal Regional Board of Muhammadiyah (PDM) to the Central Java Regional Board (PWM) as a strategic effort to expand market reach and strengthen umrah service operations. This research adopts a qualitative approach through a case study of PT Arrahmah. Data were analyzed thematically to understand the integration process after the acquisition. The findings show an increase in the number of umrah departure groups from one to 3–5 groups per month. However, this achievement does not yet align with the company's 29-branch network. These results indicate that, despite the growth in departures, the branch network has not been fully optimized. The continued use of conventional promotional strategies targeted primarily at the Muhammadiyah community is a limiting factor. Nevertheless, the acquisition succeeded in forming a broader market structure, supported by Muhammadiyah’s strong branding as one of Indonesia’s largest Islamic organizations. This study contributes to management practice, particularly in managing the integration of community-based organizations to better leverage network potential and brand strength.

Abstract

Purpose – This study aimed to examine how Gus Miftah’s TikTok-based da’wah merges rhetorical strategies, audience reaction, and Islamic character education within a dynamic digital setting. Method – Using interpretative and critical discourse analysis, the research sampled Gus Miftah’s TikTok videos, user comments, and YouTube sermons. Linguistic and rhetorical patterns were coded and triangulated to ensure analytical reliability. Result – Findings revealed that his succinct, humor-infused style successfully engaged younger audiences yet incited controversy regarding doctrinal fidelity, underscoring the delicate balance between accessibility and theological rigor in digital religious discourse. Implication – This tension highlights the need for ethical, pedagogical, and communicative recalibration, prompting religious figures to reconcile user-friendly presentation with doctrinal depth. Future efforts must address algorithmic constraints and community-driven discourse to maintain credibility. Originality/Value – The study addresses a gap by analyzing how TikTok’s algorithmic culture and participatory audience mechanics shape contemporary da’wah. It offers novel insights into how digital media redefine religious authority and communication in online contexts. *** Tujuan – Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana da’wah Gus Miftah di platform TikTok menggabungkan strategi retorika, reaksi audiens, dan pendidikan karakter Islam dalam konteks digital yang dinamis. Metode – Menggunakan analisis wacana interpretatif dan kritis, penelitian ini menganalisis video TikTok Gus Miftah, komentar pengguna, dan khotbah YouTube. Pola linguistik dan retorika dikodekan dan ditriangulasi untuk memastikan keandalan analisis. Hasil – Temuan menunjukkan bahwa gaya penyampaiannya yang ringkas dan sarat humor berhasil menarik perhatian audiens muda, namun juga memicu kontroversi terkait kesetiaan doktrinal, menyoroti keseimbangan halus antara aksesibilitas dan ketelitian teologis dalam diskursus agama digital. Implikasi – Ketegangan ini menyoroti kebutuhan akan penyesuaian etis, pedagogis, dan komunikatif, mendorong tokoh agama untuk menyeimbangkan presentasi yang ramah pengguna dengan kedalaman doktrinal. Upaya di masa depan harus mengatasi batasan algoritmik dan diskursus yang didorong oleh komunitas untuk mempertahankan kredibilitas. Orisinalitas/Nilai – Studi ini mengisi celah dengan menganalisis bagaimana budaya algoritmik TikTok dan mekanisme audiens partisipatif membentuk da’wah kontemporer. Studi ini menawarkan wawasan baru tentang bagaimana media digital mendefinisikan ulang otoritas agama dan komunikasi dalam konteks online.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan guna menganalisis penerapan siklus PDCA (Plan-Do-Check- Act) pada manajemen strategi pengelolaan Kelompok Bimbingan Ibadah Haji (KBIH) Arwaniyyah Kudus. Fokus utama studi ini yakni mengetahui bagaimana setiap tahapan PDCA dijalankan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan juga efektivitas bimbingan ibadah haji pada para Jemaah dan kebijakan sistematis. Pada tahap perencanaan (Plan), KBIH menyusun program bimbingan berdasarkan kebutuhan Jemaah dan kebijakan regulatif. Tahap pelaksanaan (Do) dilakukan melalui pembinaan rutin, simulasi manasik, serta penguatan spiritual. Evaluasi (Check) dilakukan secara berkala melalui umpan balik jemaah dan monitoring internal. Tahap Tindak Lanjut (Act) menghasilkan sejumlah inovasi seperti peningkatan metode pengajaran dan pemanfaatan media digital. Secara keseluruhan, siklus PDCA terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan mutu layanan dan profesionalisme pengelolaan KBIH Arwaniyyah.

Abstract

The murur scheme is a preventive measure in organizing the Hajj in 2024 where this scheme is a form of evaluation of the implementation of the Hajj in the previous year which is intended to maintain the safety and comfort of the elderly, high risk, disabled, and their companions, especially in avoiding the density of Muzdalifah. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the murur scheme using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. This research uses a qualitative approach with. Data were obtained through in-depth interviews and analyzed descriptively. The results show that the murur scheme is a policy of field challenges and has a positive impact on the level of congregation satisfaction, safety and efficiency of the Hajj pilgrimage, but still requires strengthening in the aspects of coordination, training of officers and provision of adequate facilities for more optimal implementation in the future. This research is expected to provide empirical and practical contributions to the development of Hajj service policies that are more adaptive, inclusive, and based on the needs of priority pilgrim groups in the future.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia’s diversity has made it vulnerable to rising extremism and radicalism, prompting the Ministry of Religious Affairs to promote religious moderation as a strategic effort to preserve unity and tolerance. Objective: This study aims to explore the implementation of religious moderation by the Ministry of Religious Affairs as a strategy to combat extremism and radicalism in Indonesia. Method: The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method conducted in 2022. Data collection techniques include documentation, and data analysis follows the Miles & Huberman model. Result: The findings indicate that religious moderation acts as a meeting point between religious extremism and the path to peace, providing a solution to reconcile religious communities. It is crucial in fostering peaceful and prosperous life, as well as promoting cultural strategies for building peace in Indonesia. Conclusion: The study concludes that religious moderation is essential for maintaining human dignity and addressing the diverse challenges of modern development. It plays a key role in mitigating radical ideologies and contributing to social harmony in Indonesia. Contribution: This research contributes to the understanding of religious moderation as a strategic tool to counter radicalism, highlighting its role in promoting peace, cultural cohesion, and human dignity in a diverse society. It offers insights for policymakers and religious leaders in fostering moderation in the face of modern challenges.
