Abstract

This research explored the influence of multidimensional intelligence, including emotional, social, spiritual, and academic intelligence, on the performance of elementary school teachers in Indonesia. Five hundred teachers from various regions were selected as samples using stratified random sampling techniques. The survey method was used to collect data, and multiple linear regression analysis was applied to determine the influence of each intelligence dimension on teacher performance. The results indicated that all dimensions of intelligence positively impacted teacher performance, with academic intelligence having the most dominant effect (coefficient 0.295), followed by social intelligence (0.182), emotional intelligence (0.170), and spiritual intelligence (0.086). These findings indicate the importance of a holistic approach to improving teacher performance, focusing on strengthening academic and social intelligence. The research also recommends that teacher development policies pay more attention to multidimensional intelligence in training programs. Future research should expand the scope by considering factors such as work environment and intrinsic motivation that may affect teacher performance.

Abstract

Abstract

This study explores the drivers of social cohesion in Jombang, Indonesia, with a particular focus on how minority-majority relations contribute to the region's capacity to serve as a model of peaceful coexistence in a diverse and post-conflict environment. The study aims to identify and analyse the socio-cultural factors underlying cohesion, emphasising the management of diversity as both a challenge and an opportunity for community resilience. Using a qualitative ethnographic methodology, data were collected through in-depth observation, interviews, and document analysis. The findings highlight four key drivers: the historical context of the arrival and development of religion, the role of family dynamics, group perspectives on religious understanding, and the influence of leadership as key factors in shaping social cohesion in the Jombang community. The study concludes that social cohesion in Jombang is not simply a product of cultural diversity but is actively maintained through shared historical narratives, intergenerational values, and inclusive leadership. However, this study is limited by its focus on a single geographic region, which may limit the generalizability of the findings. Nonetheless, this study offers practical implications by demonstrating how local cohesion strategies can inform policymaking, conflict resolution, and community development in other communities, as well as promote peaceful, just, and inclusive societies, as mandated by SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). The study's originality lies in its ethnographic lens, which reveals nuanced mechanisms of cohesion, providing both academic value and practical lessons for strengthening intergroup harmony in plural contexts.

Abstract

This research fills the gap in studies of communication models towards children because, from the existing studies, there is still a space that requires a more profound discussion regarding communication patterns that emphasize the values and spirit of Islamic education from the perspective of the Qur'an. The novelty of the researcher's writing. This research is qualitative. Qualitative research is research that produces descriptive data. The type of qualitative research used in this research is library research. Islamic education for children carried out by parents and teachers in formal, non-formal, and informal education must be equipped with good communication skills. Of course, communication under the Qur'an demanded reliability and promoting dialogue. Parents and teachers must be able to communicate teaching material so that it can be implemented by the child, which in the end, has a positive impact on the child. In everyday life, parents and teachers must be able to communicate well with children because communication is essential. Moreover, in communicating with children according to the guidance of the Qur'an, parents, and teachers should be able to communicate with children with qâulan balighâ, qâulan layyina, qâulan ma'rufa, qâulan maysura, qulan karima and be able to give willingness, advice, preaching and taushiyah so that children become a more polite and moral person like the way of communicating the prophet Ibrahim to the prophet Ismail AS.

Activities include hydroponic training, construction of mini gardens, planting vegetables (kale and pakcoy), and integration with science subjects. The program successfully increases students' enthusiasm and understanding of sustainable agriculture. Students are actively involved in the process of planting to maintaining plants, and teachers integrate these activities into science learning as an ongoing practice. The PAR approach with hydroponic mini gardens is effective in building environmental awareness and food independence in elementary school children, while instilling Islamic values about ecological responsibility as a caliph on earth.
