Abstract

This research aims to explore how psychology can be used to overcome barriers to teamwork and improve overall organizational performance. Teamwork is an important element in various contexts, from the business world to academic and social environments. Effective teamwork not only contributes to achieving common goals but also strengthens interpersonal relationships, increases job satisfaction, and optimizes productivity. Through a qualitative research approach and data collection from various literature sources, this article presents an in-depth analysis of the role of psychology in improving the quality of teamwork. The results of this research show that psychology has an important role in improving the quality of teamwork and has a significant influence. By understanding and overcoming obstacles in group dynamics, developing effective communication skills, and promoting coordination, balance of contribution, mutual support, effort, and cohesion in teams, psychology can assist in creating a work environment that is conducive to successfully achieving shared goals.

Abstract

Resilience is an individual's effort to be able to stay on a positive path in facing challenges or obstacles that can create stress. Resilience can be done by everyone, including factory employees. There are many actions that factory workers can take to avoid work stress, one of which is maximizing resilience. The aim of this research is to explain the picture of resilience in factory employees The method used is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection using interviews. The informants in this research were 4 people who were working in a factory. The main result of this research is that the majority of employees from various factories in Boyolali who were sources in this research already have a good level of resilience. This can be explained that every employee who is under stress does not immediately have negative emotions. Apart from that, employees are able to manage stress well, this is because the regulations that employees have are relatively good

Abstract

Being at the level of class XII students is very special for everyone, special because they will face graduation exams and choose a career for the next level of education. Quite a few of them need strategies for managing their stress, because even though they are in the late teenage stage, they still need guidance. Stress coping is how someone has a strategy for dealing with stress. This research aims to determine coping stress in class XII high school students. The informants for this research were seven people who were class XII students. The method used is qualitative with interviews. The results of this research show that the seven informants have good stress coping as class XII high school students.

Abstract

One of the micro and small business actors in the informal sector who has felt a significant impact from the Covid-19 pandemic is street vendors (PKL). This research aims to explain the business strategies of street vendors so that they are able to maintain their survival in the businesses that will be carried out (PKL) during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is included in qualitative research. The subjects of this research were 7 street vendors at SD Karangasem. From the research results, the marketing strategy used by street vendors in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic is by using social media, including Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, Telegram, as well as joining other online businesses such as Shopee, Go-Food, and Grap- food. By using social media, buyers and traders can easily carry out transactions without having to touch each other. So it can be explained that the survival strategy can work as expected by paying attention to consumer purchasing power during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Gadgets are a form of electronic media that is widely used among the general public, especially children who are still in school. The use of gadgets is very influential on children's social behavior, especially in the way they interact with their social or environment, even though children's gadgets become more emotional and forget time, often neglecting their obligations as students. From that problem, this study aims to determine the social behavior of children who are addicted to playing gadgets during the current pandemic. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques using observation, structured and in-depth interviews. The research subjects consisted of 10 subjects: 7 children aged 9–13 years, 2 housewives, and 1 mother who worked as a teacher. The results showed that gadgets can affect social behavior in children. The importance of the role of parents during online learning at home is to always be able to provide supervision and knowledge about the use of gadgets that should be useful and not have a negative impact on children.

Abstract

Students who leave their home area to live for some time in another area are called overseas students. Becoming an overseas student is not an easy thing, apart from the dissatisfaction of a student, it often creates feelings of discomfort and unhappiness which results in poor psychological well-being for overseas students. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the Psychological Well-being of Overseas Students at Sahid University, Surakarta. In this study using qualitative methods with observation and interview data collection techniques. The informants of this study were students from overseas outside Java who studied at Sahid University, Surakarta, totaling 7 informants. The results of this research are the psychological well-being of overseas students outside Java who study at Sahid University, Surakarta, in general 4 have good psychological well-being, 3 of them have poor psychological well-being, these 3 informants must be able to improve aspects of self-acceptance and aspects of development self.

Abstract

Profesi guru di Indonesia dibedakan menjadi dua status kepegawaian, yaitu guru honorer dan guru berstatus Pegawai Negeri Sipil (PNS). Keduanya memiliki beban kerja yang sama namun dengan gaji yang berbeda. Penghasilan guru honorer jauh lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan upah minimum kabupaten/kota dan tidak disertai tunjangan, berbeda dengan yang diterima oleh guru dengan status PNS. Pada akhirnya memunculkan permasalahan baru yaitu masih rendahnya kesejahteraan pada guru honorer. Salah satu aspek kesejahteraan yang perlu diperhatikan adalah kepuasan kerja pada guru honorer. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui gambaran kepuasan kerja pada guru honorer di SDN Purworejo, dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dalam pengambilan datanya. Informan utama dalam penelitian ini yaitu 4 guru dengan status honorer dan 2 informan pendukung yaitu kepala sekolah dan satu guru PNS di SDN Purworejo. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan kerja pada guru honorer di SDN Purworejo cukup baik. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari kenyamanan saat bekerja, minat, budaya kerja kekeluargaan, dan rekan kerja yang mendukung, sehingga dalam memaknai penghasilan yang diterima yaitu dengan cara bersyukur agar selalu merasa cukup.

Abstract

Adolescence is a transition period from childhood to adulthood that is vulnerable to various psychological problems, such as searching for identity, social problems, academic pressure, and low self-confidence. Self-love or self-love is an important element in building mental health that is often overlooked, especially among adolescents. Based on the author's observations at MAN 2 Surakarta, it was found that students tend not to fully understand the concept of self-love, so they are vulnerable to social pressure, adakemik, and negative emotions. For this reason, this community service activity was carried out with the aim of instilling an understanding of the importance of self-love, recognizing oneself, and improving students' mental health. The implementation method used in this community service activity has three stages, namely: 1). Planning stage, 2). Implementation stage and 3). Evaluation stage. The results of this community service activity show that students begin to understand the importance of self-love as a basis for mental health. In conclusion, cultivating self-love is very important for adolescents to face psychological and social challenges. The application of this concept is expected to provide long-term benefits for students' mental and emotional well-being, as well as encourage their positive contributions in the social environment.

Abstract

A teenager is a person who grows up which includes mental, emotional, social, and physical maturity. Adolescence is a period that every individual always goes through. One of them is hugh school students, high school students have an age range of 15 to 18 years. Lack of self-confidence is one of the factors of problems experienced by students. The method used in this activity are (1) preparation stage, (2) implementation stage, and (3) evaluation stage. The subjects of this activity were students in class X and XI at Man 2 Surakarta. The aim of this activity is to grow students’ self-confidence. The result obtained are that students understand more and increase their self-confidence. In conclusion, self-confidence is important for students and more and more students are confident and confident in themselves.

Abstract

Social support is assistance to individuals in the form of comfort and attention as well as created a feeling of being loved and appreciated by others. Social support of individuals will be able to fulfill one of the psychological needs positively. This can affect subjective well-being in individuals. This study aims to determine and empirically test the correlation between social support and subjective well-being in students of the Psychology Study Program at Sahid Surakarta University. This study used a quantitative method with 67 students as respondents. The sampling technique used a purposive sampling technique. The results indicate that there is a correlation between social support and subjective well-being in psychology students at Sahid Surakarta University. This means that higher social support contributes to the higher subjective well-being of students. In contrast, the lower social support makes for the lower subjective well-being of students.
