Abstract

Learning is currently in the transition period between online and offline learning, namely limited face-to-face learning. Limited face-to-face learning problems make teachers have to innovate in communication and interactive learning. Comic books can change material that is difficult to understand into material that is easy to understand. This happens because one of the characteristics of comics is that they can visualize abstract material into something real. The purpose of this study is to create a comic book based on local wisdom, which is expected to foster a culture of student literacy by providing alternative media based on applications in the learning process. This study uses the Research and Development (R&D) method, while the model used in this development is the model of ADDIE (Analysis, Desain, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation’). The results of this study obtained very good validation with an average percentage score of 86,03% in terms of material and media design. Also, getting an average score of 96,63% for the percentage of achievement that was tested by users, namely elementary school students, means that students' responses to comics are very good.

Abstract

Pendidikan dan budaya adalah sesuatu yang tidak bisa dilepaskan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Budaya pada hakikatnya merupakan hasil olah karya, rasa, dan cipta manusia yang berlaku dalam suatu masyarakat, sedangkan pendidikan merupakan kebutuhan mendasar bagi setiap inidividu. Etnomatematika merupakan sebuah pendekatan yang dapat digunakan untuk menjembatani antara budaya dan pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan eksplorasi etnomatematika dibengkulu sebagai sumber belajar matematika pada materi penyajian data dalam bentuk diagram batang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil eksplorasi menunjukkan bahwa dalam kebudayaan yang ada di Bengkulu terdapat unsur-unsur matematika yang dapat dijadikan sumber belajar diantaranya adalah untuk mengajarkan materi penyajian data dalam bentuk diagram batang secara konkret. Sumber belajar tidak hanya bersumber dari buku-buku pelajaran saja, namun dapat didukung dari lingkungan maupun budaya setempat yang lebih bermakna bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

The completeness of science learning outcomes has an influence on the teacher's success in determining learning methods. Science learning about the human digestive system for class V students at SDN Simo, the level of completion of learning outcomes for students is only 52%. The aim of the classroom action research was to maximize science learning outcomes using the team quiz method assisted by animated video media on the human digestive system. The subjects in the research were fifth grade students, consisting of 10 female students and 13 male students. In cycle I, the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes was 70% and increased by 13% in cycle II to 83%. The conclusion obtained from this research is that choosing a team quiz learning method using animated video media can maximize science learning outcomes for class V students at SDN 1 Simo

Abstract

Statistics is often considered a challenging subject, where high levels of anxiety can hinder understanding of the material, affect results, and hinder the development of statistical skills. This study aims to analyze effectiveness of four learning strategies namely tutorial learning, presenter learning, project online learning, and project face to face learning in improving students' statistical literacy skills. This study used a quantitative approach with a posttest group design research design involving 140 students who were divided into four treatment groups. The analysis technique used is MANOVA (Multivariate Analysis of Variance) with the stages of normality test, homogeneity, multiple comparisons, and Tukey HSD further test. The results show that Tutorial Learning, Presenter Learning, and Project Face to Face Learning strategies have a more significant impact on improving statistical literacy. The three strategies showed relatively balanced effectiveness in improving students' statistical skills. This finding confirms the importance of selecting appropriate learning strategies to promote a deep and meaningful understanding of statistics. This research provides an empirical contribution to the development and selection of appropriate learning strategies, especially in statistics education at the tertiary level. It also recommends further exploration of innovative, contextual, and adaptive combinations of learning strategies to students' needs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi teknik ecoprint sebagai upaya pemberdayaan masyarakat di Blok Jongor, Mundupesisir, Cirebon, dengan fokus pada pelatihan keterampilan untuk anak jalanan dan anak putus sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan keterampilan dan kreativitas peserta melalui pengenalan teknik ecoprint, sekaligus membangun kesadaran akan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam lokal. Metode penelitian yang digunakan mencakup tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 30 Agustus 2024 di Perkumpulan Seni Anak Kalijaga "PUSAKA" dengan melibatkan 10 peserta. Materi pelatihan mencakup dua teknik ecoprint utama, yaitu pounding (pemukulan) dan steaming (pengukusan), menggunakan bahan alami lokal seperti daun pakis, jati, kenikir, dan bunga-bungaan. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan tingginya antusiasme peserta dalam mempelajari dan mengaplikasikan teknik ecoprint. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ecoprint tidak hanya memberikan keterampilan baru bagi peserta, tetapi juga meningkatkan kesadaran akan potensi pemanfaatan sumber daya alam lokal. Kesimpulannya, kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa teknik ecoprint dapat menjadi sarana pemberdayaan ekonomi dan sosial, serta pelestarian lingkungan di daerah pedesaan, sekaligus menjembatani warisan budaya dengan inovasi kontemporer di sektor tekstil.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas strategi peningkatan produksi dan pemasaran kopi mangrove melalui pendekatan digipreneurship di pesisir Kecamatan Mundu, Kabupaten Cirebon. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengintegrasikan konsep digipreneurship, yang menggabungkan digitalisasi dan kewirausahaan, untuk meningkatkan produksi dan memperluas jangkauan pemasaran kopi mangrove. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, pelatihan, dan wawancara dengan masyarakat setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan digipreneurship dalam produksi kopi mangrove berpotensi meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat pesisir. Dengan memanfaatkan teknologi digital, pemasaran kopi mangrove dapat menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas, sekaligus memperkuat ekonomi lokal yang berkelanjutan. Simpulan menunjukkan bahwa integrasi digipreneurship secara signifikan berperan dalam peningkatan produksi dan kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

Mundupesisir Village is one of the potential villages located on the coast of West Java due to the presence of mangrove conservation along its shores. Mangroves are crucial ecosystems for environmental enhancement, but in reality, this conservation effort has received less intensive attention. Therefore, a strategy is needed to develop and enhance environmental awareness through the improvement of literacy. MANGLIEDS is an edutourism-based mangrove literacy enhancement program initiated to address this issue. The development of literacy in Mundupesisir Village utilizes Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) as a method for planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. This approach encourages active participation of the community at all levels, directing development towards their needs and aspirations, enhancing their involvement, and facilitating program implementation. The MANGLIEDS program includes strengthening student involvement, community empowerment, collaboration with the village government, and project management, providing a comprehensive approach to promote understanding and awareness of the importance of mangrove forests. Through socialization activities, training, and the development of mangrove edutourism ventures, this program can enhance the community's knowledge of the ecological and economic benefits of mangrove forests and inspire awareness of their conservation. This program not only benefits the local community but also provides opportunities for students to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of environment and sustainability. Thus, MANGLIEDS can serve as an inspirational and effective model in integrating edutourism and mangrove literacy into a cohesive entity that positively impacts environmental preservation and the well-being of the local community.

Abstract

This collaborative learning aims to improve the quality and quantity of cooperation between universities in eastern Indonesia through the implementation of collaborative online learning. Collaborative online learning training involves six educators who will teach.. Based on the results of a survey that has been conducted, it is stated that IPB Cirebon students still use LMS as a lecture system, while Uniflor students have a face-to-face lecture system. Therefore, a collaborative online learning program (PDK) was carried out between IPB Cirebon and Uniflor. The PDK program is implemented using three stages. These stages include starting from initial studies, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Using stages in the PDK program is the right approach. Active student involvement in every meeting, the development of LMS-based digital teaching materials will be more oriented towards student needs and aspirations. Through active student participation, the PDK program has the potential for better achievements, realizing learning in 2045. Collaborative online learning between two universities can increase digital literacy between students and educators. Collaborative online learning can also develop students' abilities in the 3T area. Through this learning, students can collaborate with other university students.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of education, particularly in the use of flexible and interactive website-based learning media. However, many teachers still face obstacles in mastering digital skills, thus requiring systematic training. This community service activity aims to improve teachers' competence in utilizing website-based learning platforms, particularly course.akademimerdeka.com, through a series of face-to-face training sessions. The training was conducted in four sessions, namely platform introduction, instructor account creation, digital product development with Canva, and uploading digital products to the platform. There were 12 teachers from Cluster 4, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City, who participated in the activity. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in teachers' motivation to design interesting learning activities (96%), their ability to create game-based activities (92%), students' learning skills (91%), and teachers' involvement in continuing education (95%). Additionally, teachers were able to produce digital products such as e-modules, PowerPoint presentations, posters, and animated videos that are integrated with the learning platform. These findings confirm that technology-based training can strengthen the role of teachers as facilitators and innovators of digital learning. In conclusion, training in the use of website-based platforms is effective in improving teacher competence while encouraging interactive, creative, and flexible learning. Follow-up activities include periodic ongoing training, technical assistance, and expansion of implementation to more schools to optimize the use of technology in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis fenomena campur kode yang terjadi pada pidato manajer Bentani Hotel dalam rapat kerja tahunan. Campur kode merupakan fenomena sosiolinguistik yang terjadi ketika seorang penutur menggunakan dua bahasa atau lebih dalam satu tuturan. Disamping itu, penelitian ini menjelaskan faktor penyebab adanya campur kode. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dengan fokus pada bentuk-bentuk campur kode, fungsi campur kode, serta faktor penyebab terjadinya campur kode. Data diperoleh melalui rekaman dan transkripsi pidato General manager Bentani Hotel Cirebon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa campur kode yang digunakan mencakup bahasa Indonesia dan bahasa Inggris, dengan alasan keefektifan komunikasi, keakraban terhadap istilah industri, serta status bahasa Inggris sebagai bahasa internasional dalam dunia perhotelan. Campur kode digunakan untuk memperjelas pesan, memberi penekanan, dan menyesuaikan dengan audiens yang memiliki latar belakang beragam. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari fenomena campur kode tersebut adalah fenomena campur kode external berupa peralihan dari bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Inggris.
