Abstract

This study aimed to develop a teaching module on fractions for 5th-grade elementary school students, designed using a realistic approach and tailored for implementation within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. The development research employed the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation), which was evaluated through expert validation of media and content, as well as student interest response and teacher practicality response regarding the module. The validation results from both media and content experts indicated that the developed module was highly suitable, with percentage scores of 94% and 95%, respectively. Additionally, student responses to the learning experiences facilitated by teachers using the developed module were highly positive, ranging from interested to highly interested. Moreover, teacher responses regarding the practicality, effectiveness, efficiency, and creativity of the developed module obtained a percentage score of 98%, signifying excellent quality. These research findings demonstrate that the developed teaching module is both suitable and practical for use by teachers in teaching fractions to 5th-grade elementary school students, with the learning experiences facilitated by this module receiving positive responses from students.

Abstract

Karya tulis ilmiah baik berupa artikel jurnal maupun skripsi merupakan syarat wajib bagi setiap mahasiswa untuk menjadi sarjana. Menemukan ide dalam menyusun karya ilmiah terkadang menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi banyak mahasiswa, oleh karena itu pendampingan bagi mereka tentunya sangat dibutuhkan. Ilmu yang didapat terkait karya ilmiah dalam perkuliahan idealnya didukung melalui kegiatan pendampingan. Oleh karena itu, sangat penting untuk mengadakan acara pendampingan dalam membantu siswa menggali potensi ide yang pada akhirnya dapat dikembangkan menjadi karya ilmiah. Kegiatan pendampingan ini dilakukan secara online dan diikuti oleh 42 mahasiswa S1 semester VI Jurusan Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar Universitas Borneo Tarakan yang memiliki minat penelitian di bidang matematika. Kegiatan pendampingan menunjukkan hasil yang baik dengan adanya feedback dan penugasan berupa penulisan kerangka berpikir diakhir kegiatan. Adanya penugasan tersebut memperkuat pemahaman mahasiswa setelah adanya feedback yang dilakukan.

Abstract

Perkembangan siswa menguasai materi pelajaran berkaitan dengan kemampuan berpikir siswa. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perubahan kemampuan kognitif siswa tingkat sekolah dasar menggunakan pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Partisipan penelitian dipilih berdasarkan kategori tinggi, sedang dan rendah masing-masing satu orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan wawancara tidak terstruktur dan hasil analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian terdapat perubahan kemampuan kognitif siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis STEM. Hal ini dikarenakan setelah melakukan pembelajaran berbasis STEM, ketiga partisipan memenuhi seluruh karakteristik kemampuan kognitif atas dasar hasil wawancara yaitu mampu mengingat, memahami, menerapkan, menganalisis, mengevaluasi dan menciptakan materi sumber energi yang dikaitkan pada materi penyajian data. The development of students mastering the subject matter is related to students' thinking abilities. Therefore, this study aims to determine changes in the cognitive skills of elementary school students using STEM-based learning. This research uses a descriptive method. Research participants were selected based on each person's high, medium and low categories. Unstructured interviews were carried out for data collection, and the analysis results used descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of the study showed changes in students' cognitive abilities through STEM-based learning. The impact occurred is because after carrying out STEM-based learning, the three participants fulfilled all the characteristics of cognitive skills based on interview results, namely being able to remember, understand, apply, analyze.

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran berupa media Big book untuk memenuhi kebutuhan kegiatan belajar mengajar di kelas. Metode pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui diseminasi secara luring. Adapun tahapan pengabdian terdiri dari tahap pengembangan media Big book yang terdiri dari beberapa langkah. 1) melakukan analisis kebutuhan media pembelajaran; 2) Penyusunan materi dan desain media; 3) validasi oleh ahli media, materi, bahasa dan praktisi 4) revisi media; 5) desiminasi. Untuk menguji kelayakan layak atau tidaknya dapat dilihat dari aspek validasi ahli materi mencapai persentase 95,38 %, selanjutnya validasi ahli materi mencapai persentase 86,66%, validasi ahli Bahasa mencapai 88%, sedangkan untuk hasil validasi praktisi mencapai persentase 100%. Sasaran pengabdian adalah Kepala sekolah dan guru-guru di SDN 047 Tarakan. Guru sebagai pihak yang menerima manfaat antusias dalam bertanya terkait dengan cara pembuatan media yang dikembangkan sebagai alternatif solusi dari kebutuhan media pembelajaran saat ini. Kepala sekolah juga berharap ada FGD terkait dengan pembuatan media lainnya.

Abstract

Projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5) menjadi salah satu prioritas pembelajaran, dengan menekankan kreativitas, gotong royong, dan keberlanjutan. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan konsep fermentasi ke dalam salah satu tema P5, yaitu kewirausahaan atau keberlanjutan pangan, siswa tidak hanya memahami teori, dapat melihat relevansi ilmu sains dalam keseharian. Kegiatan diawali dengan menyimak materi terkait fermentasi dan video terkait pembuatan tape ketan. Kegiatan dilanjutkan dengan diskusi dan tanya jawab yang melibatkan siswa  serta memberikan reward. Setelah diskusi, siswa diajak untuk praktik membuat tape. Kegiatan sosialisasi pengenalan bioteknologi sederhana pada kelas V di SDN 005 Tarakan mendapatkan respon positif dari kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa kelas V. Pada kegiatan ini siswa antusias dalam menyimak, diskusi dan tanya jawab serta praktik pembuatan tape ketan. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dilaksanakan pada kegiatan Projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5).

Abstract

The use of learning media can attract students' interest in learning, increase motivation and make it easier to understand the material. This research aims to develop learning video media with a feasible and interesting contextual approach. This research is a Research and Development with the flow of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The data collection instruments used were in the form of validation sheets and student response questionnaires. This research was conducted in class IV C SDN 006 Tarakan. The results of the validation of material experts were obtained at 80%, including the feasible category, media experts were obtained at 88.33% including the very feasible category, linguists were obtained at 83.13% including the very feasible category. The results of the limited trial student response were obtained of 82.54%, including the very interesting category, and the results of the field trial student response were obtained of 89.72%, including the very interesting category. Based on the results of the validation of materials, media and language, as well as student response questionnaires in limited trials and field trials, learning videos with a contextual approach were declared feasible and interesting to be used in the learning process.

Abstract

Students' errors in solving numeracy problems are closely related to their self-efficacy levels, which influence their confidence in understanding and solving problems. This study aims to describe students' errors in solving numeracy problems from a self-efficacy perspective. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with students categorized based on low, medium, and high levels of self-efficacy. Data were collected through questionnaires, numeracy tests, and interviews, and analyzed using Newman's stages. The results showed that students with low self-efficacy made errors in the reading stage. Students with medium and high self-efficacy showed errors in understanding the problems, which resulted in errors in Transformation, Processing skills, and Encoding. This study emphasizes the importance of recognizing errors in solving numeracy problems to improve students' numeracy skills.

Abstract

Abstrak Pembelajaran geometri memerlukan bahan ajar yang sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan kognitif. Materi geometri belum dikaitkan dengan budaya lokal, sehingga pemahaman konsep peserta didik belum optimal. Salah satu yang dilakukan dengan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis etnomatematika mengikuti tahapan berpikir geometri menurut teori Van Hiele, agar pembelajaran mudah dipahami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan LKPD geometri sekolah dasar berbasis etnomatematika Padaw Tuju Dulung berdasarkan teori belajar Van Hiele. Metode yang digunakan adalah Research and Development dengan model pengembangan 4D. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui lembar validasi ahli dan angket respon peserta didik, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif yang didukung oleh data kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa LKPD yang dikembangkan memperoleh kriteria sangat layak dengan penilaian ahli materi 88,46% dan ahli media 90,21%. Respon peserta didik menunjukkan tingkat kemenarikan 86,36% sangat menarik. LKPD yang dihasilkan memuat unsur budaya Padaw Tuju Dulung dan disusun sesuai tahapan berpikir geometri Van Hiele, sehingga layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran geometri di sekolah dasar. Abstract: Geometry learning requires teaching materials that are appropriate for the stage of cognitive development. The geometry material has not yet been linked to local culture, resulting in suboptimal understanding of concepts among students. One of the approaches taken is to develop ethnomathematics-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) following the stages of geometric thinking according to Van Hiele's theory, so that the learning is easy to understand. This research aims to develop elementary school geometry LKPD based on Padaw Tuju Dulung ethnomathematics according to Van Hiele's learning theory. The method used is Research and Development with a 4D development model. Research data were obtained thru expert validation sheets and student response questionnaires, then analyzed descriptively qualitatively supported by quantitative data. The research results show that the developed LKPD meets the very feasible criteria with a material expert assessment of 88.46% and a media expert assessment of 90.21%. Student responses indicate a very interesting level of 86.36%. The developed LKPD contains elements of Padaw Tuju Dulung culture and is structured according to the Van Hiele geometric thinking stages, making it suitable for use in geometry learning in elementary schools

Abstract

This study aims to develop learning media for truth and dare games and find out the appropriateness and level of student interest in learning media developed in thematic class V SDS Muhammadiyah 3 Al-Hilal Tarakan. The development model used refers to the development stage proposed by Sugiono. Data collection instruments used were, interviews, validation sheets and student interest questionnaires.The validation results obtained from material experts amounted to 84%, media experts 85.7% and practitioners 100%. The results of the student interest questionnaire on the initial product trial were 98.6% and the use trial was 99.6%. The results of the validation of material experts, media experts and practitioners indicate that the truth and dare game learning media are very appropriate to be used in the learning process. The results of the questionnaire of interest in the initial product trial and trial use show that the level of student interest in the truth and dare game learning media is in the very interested category.
