Abstract

As it is known that the roles and responsibilities of teachers, especially those teaching Islamic education is enormous. Basically, Islamic Education Teachers teach not only in charge of the subject matter, but also burdened with the responsibility to build learners who have knowledge, morals, have identity, strong character, and has a life skills guidance in accordance with the teachings of Islam. To bear all the burdens and responsibilities required different skills, especially skills as a personal ideal Islamic Education Teachers. In a variety of classical texts, books, literature until recent Islamic educational research found five terms are embedded in referring the teachers, Mudarris, Mu'allim Murabbi, Mursyid, and Muaddib. No articles are discussing a thorough and detailed those five terms in question yet. This article aims to discuss in detail and comprehensively those five terms in Islamic Education Teachers. This research uses the qualitative method with content analysis approach, all data taken from various sources which are derived from classical holy books, books, theories and expert opinion. All data that has been collected are analyzed thematically, in other words the themes that have been obtained are described comprehensively and deeply. Interestingly, the whole themes of the results of this study will be discussed with the results of the study of the researchers earlier and issues of current Islamic Education. The authors hope that this article can be a source of guidance for Islamic Education teachers to becoming an ideal individual, besides that it can also be a basis for the next researchers to discuss this problem in different contexts and issues.

Abstract

Becoming a memorizer (hafizd) of the Quran is not an easy matter, because it requires sincere intentions, sincerity, determination, hard work, strong motivation and of course using the right method. Regarding the method of memorizing the Quran, there are actually many methods that can be chosen and implemented when someone memorizes the Quran. This study aims to identify whether the method of memorizing the Quran used by teachers in guiding students in memorizing the Quran at the Quran memorizing institution Fastabiqul Khairat Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. Sources of data were taken through in-depth interviews with five informants (teachers and students), to support the interview data the author also conducted observations and directly interacted with informants in various Quranic activities at the research location. All interview results were then analyzed thematically using NVivo12 qualitative analysis software. The research findings found five methods used by teachers in guiding students in memorizing the Quran. The five methods are: i) Talaqqi Method, ii) Simai, iii) Wahdah, iv) Kitabah, and v) Talqin. In addition, the research findings also prove that the selection of the right method has succeeded in delivering successful students to become a memorizer (hafizd) of the Quran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pertama, mengetahui peran guru pendidikan agama Islam sebagai pembimbing dalam pembinaan sopan santun siswa. Kedua, mengtahui metode yang digunakan guru pendidikan agama Islam dalam pembinaan sopan santun siswa. Peneliti ini mengunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data penelitian ini 10 (sepuluh) orang informan yang diwawancai yang terdiri dari guru PAI, guru Waka Kesiswaan, guru BK, dan siswa SMA N 1 Sinunukan, Kecamatan Sinunukan, Kabupaten Mandailing Natal. Data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara yang mendalam kepada semua informan yang terkait, observasi dan Dokumentasi. Informan penelitian ini mengunakan teknik purposive Sampling. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh hasil bahwa kegiatan sholat dzhur berjama’ah, membawa ayat-ayat al-Qur’an pembinaan sopan santun siswa memiliki peran yang sangat penting bagi siswa yang ikut serta dalam kegiatan pembinaan sopan santun siswa. Beberapa program yang dilakukan guru PAI dan pihak sekolah dalam pembinaan sopan santun siswam yaitu: yang pertama, siswa bersalaman bersama bapak ibu guru sebelum masuk kelas, yang kedua, bedoa, membaca ayat-ayat suci al-Qur’an yang berkaitan dengan akhalak mulia dan sopan santun, yang ketiga sholat dzuhur berjaamah serta guru PAI menceritakan kisah-kisah Nabi dan Rasul yang berkaitan dengan sopan santun. Disini guru PAI menggunakan metode ceramah, demonstrasi serta pendekatan langsung kepada siswa. Kegiatan atau program yang dilakukan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui usaha guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam meningkatkan kepercayaan diri peserta didik melalui metode diskusi di Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data penelitian diambil dari empat belas orang informan yang terdiri kepala sekolah, wakil kurikulum, guru Pendidikan Agama Islam, guru Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Prakarya selaku wali kelas VII.1, dua orang tua peserta didik dari keluargabroken home, empat peserta didik yang berprestasi tinggi dengan nilai >80 dan empat peserta didik yang berprestasi tinggi dengan nilai <80 tersebut menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Data penelitian diambil melalui wawancara kepada seluruh informan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga indikator terkait ketidakpercayaan diri peserta didik yaitu ;1). kurangnya keberanian terdapat tiga indikator yaitu; a). kurangnya keberanian untuk bertanya, b). kurangnya keberanian mengemukakan pendapat, dan c). kurangnya keberanian mengerjakan soal di depan kelas. 2). tingginya rasa malu terdapat tiga indikator yaitu; a). malu ditertawakan teman sebaya, b). malu dikritik terkait pendapat yang dikeluarkan, c). malu jika terlanjur bersalah. 3). rendahnya motivasi penulis menyimpulkan peserta didik kurang motivasi belajar seperti peserta didik merasa enggan mengerjakan soal didepan kelas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh ketertarikan terhadap peranan orang tua terhadap pembinaan akhlak remaja. Pada masa remaja seseorang akan sulit jika hanya dinasehati dan diberikan contoh saja, karena anak remaja lebih suka membangkang jika diberikan contoh yang baik dan diperintah orang tua untuk mengerjakan sesuatu. Untuk itu orang tua harus memiliki metode yang tepat bagaimana orang tua bisa membina remaja untuk berakhlakul karimah. Orang tua membina akhlak remaja tidak hanyamenggunakan kata-kata maupun contoh-contoh saja, orang tua dapat menggunakan cara pendekatan terhadap remaja, dan orang tua sebagai tempat untuk bercerita tentang kehidupan di luar rumah, dengan cara seperti itu dapat membuat remaja lebih memiliki rasa kepercayaan terhadap orang tuanya. Pertanyaan peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana peran orang tua terhadap pembinaan akhlak remaja di kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan Peranan Orang Tua terhadap Pembinaan Akhlak Remaja di Kecamatan Bungus Teluk Kabung. Peneltian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Wawancara dilakukan terhadap orangtua yang sudah melakukan kewajibannya yaitu membimbing, mengarahkan remaja dll, yang berada di Kecamatan Bungus teluk Kabung. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa di Kecamatan Bungus teluk Kabung Kota Padang, para orangtua sudah semaksimal mungkin dalam mengarahkan dan membina akhlak para remaja. Dan upaya yang dilakukan orang tua dalam Pembinaan Akhlak Remaja adalah upaya orang tua dalam memberikan contoh teladan dari orang tua, perilaku sopan santun, pergaulan dan perlakuan orang tua terhadap orang lain baik dalam lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat yang akan menjadi teladan bagi anaknya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the coaching method used by the teacher in shaping the morals of the students at Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah Baitul Makmur Padang. Sources of data were taken from six informants through in-depth interviews who were selected using purposive sampling technique. The six informants consisted of three coaches and three students. All the results of the interviews were then analyzed systematically through four steps of analytical activities, namely (data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions). Overall the results of the analysis show; Regarding the coaching method used by the teacher in instilling morals in students by using six methods, namely, i) discussion ii) story iii) advice iv) exemplary v) habituation vi) punishment. The results of this study can be used as initial data for future research in examining different issues related to this problem and other issues relevant to this context.

Abstract

Students of Islamic Studies as a candidate for religious teachers really need to be equipped with the ability to read the Qur’an. Religious teachers as the main person in charge of Al-Quran education for students in schools must have deep competence in the Qur'an. Among the competences of the Qur’an that must be possessed is proficiency in reading the Qur’an. That is, before an Islamic Religious Education student is assigned to become an educator at school, the student must be equipped with good competence, in the context of this study the author specifically discusses competence in aspects of reading the Qur’an. This study aims to determine the competency of reading the Qur’an for Islamic Religious Studies students in the Tashih Recitation of the Qur’an program. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. The data source was taken from thirty-two informants, namely students from class 2020-2021 using a questionnaire. All data were then analyzed descriptively using the SPSS Windows version 25 quantitative analysis tool (Statistical Package for Social Scrience Version 25) Overall the results of the analysis of this study indicate that the program tashih recitation of the Qur’an is a program that supports students in improving their reading of the Qur’an, bearing in mind that there are still students who are not fluent in reading the Qur’an so this program is a solution to this problem. Then there is an increase in the ability to read the Qur’an as a result of the implementation of this program with a percentage (12.5%) to (6.25%) in the very low category, (68.75%) to (15.2%) in the low category, (9.38%) became (62.5%) in the moderate category, (6.25%) became (9.38%) in the high category and settled at (3.12%) for the very high category.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the forms of student’s difficulties in learning to write the Quran verses in the subject of Islamic Religious Education. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. This research was taken through direct interviews with eight informants. Overall the research findings This shows four teacher efforts in overcoming students difficulties in writing the Quran verses, namely: i) using the alphabetic method (the letter recognition method) to make it easier for students to recognize hijaiyah letters first before writing the Quran verses, ii) using the drill method, students are taught to write pieces of the Quran verses repeatedly so that students dexterity is honed in writing, iii) Game-based Synthetic Analytical Structural methods, in this use can improve learning outcomes and the active role of students in writing and reading the Quran because it can overcome student saturation of the material Islamic Religious Education, iv) Imla’ method, this method can be used if students are already proficient in the basics of writing the Quran verses because this method emphasizes the posture of letters in the form of words or sentences of the Qur’an.

Abstract

Amal Saleh Foundation is a religious organization managed by students. Students are the future successors of a nation. Students are a benchmark for the sustainability and goodness of a country, the birth of YAS has an important role in shaping the character of students at public colleges, Padang State University, therefore this study aims to explore activities at the Amal Saleh Foundation in Shaping Student Character. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach (case study design). Data sources were taken from twenty informants through in-depth interviews. The informant is an active student of the General College of Padang State University and is also a Santri of the Amal Saleh Foundation. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation studies. All interview results were then analyzed Thematically using the Nvivo12 qualitative analysis software. Overall the results of the analysis show that there are four activities at the Amal Saleh Foundation in Shaping Student Character, namely: i) Ta'lim, ii) Tahsin, iii) Sunday morning lectures and iv) Safari Ramadhan. The results of this study have also proven that Amal Saleh Foundation is successful and has an important role in producing students with character.

Abstract

This research aims to explore kinds and impacts of bullying behavior toward students. This research used qualitative methods with case study approach. Data source was taken through deep interview toward 20 informants which are consists of elementary students, junior high school students, senior high school students, teachers, headmaster, security, society figures and parents. All interview data was analyzed thematically by using qualitative analysis software NVivo 10. The whole research results resulted in nine important themes related to kinds and impacts of bullying behavior toward students. Those nine themes are divided into three themes related to kinds of bullying behavior, they are i) physical appearance, ii) verbal, iii) psychology. Futhermore, six themes related to the impacts of bullying behavior, they are: i) No self-confidence, ii) intimidated, iii) inferiority, iv) insecurity, v) afraid of socializing with the environtment, vi) difficult to concentrate in learning. Bullying behavior has no place in education, but the facts show that the problems often appear repeatedly with unconditional time and place. The role of all parties not only schools, parents, and society are needed to prevent bullying behavior because based on this research bullying behavior has negative impacts on students both physically and physchology.
