Abstract

This study aims to explore how the implementation of Islamic social morality in adolescents in Korong Balah Aie. The type of research used is field research or field research, namely research in which data and information are obtained directly in the field. Data were collected through direct interviews with three informants consisting of teenagers, parents, and village officials. To support the interview data, the writer also took observation and documentation data. Interview data were analyzed through the stages of taking, reducing, and presenting data and ending with drawing conclusions. Overall, the results of the study indicate that adolescents do not fully understand and implement Islamic social morals. Related to that, the data actually found that there were eight important indicators related to how the actual application of the concept of Islamic association for moral development for teenagers. The eight indicators are: covering the genitals, staying away from adultery, prohibiting a young couple to be alone, praying, saying good manners, being devoted to parents, smoking bans for teenagers, saying greetings when meeting fellow Muslims. We can use these eight indicators as a reference by teenagers in carrying out Islamic social morality because based on the results of research it has been proven to be able to apply Islamic social morals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui permasalahan akhlak anak dalam keluarga single parent. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Sumber data penelitian diambil melalui wawancara mendalam kepada sepuluh informan yang sudah terpilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Secara keseluruhan hasil penelitian mendapati delapan permasalahan akhak anak. Delapan permasalahan tersebut dikelompokkan kepada dua aspek yaitu 1) tidak patuh terhadap orang tua, 2) permasalahan kepribadian seperti, i) berjudi, ii) berkelahi, iii) mencuri, iv) bergaul bebas, v) terpengaruh game online. vi) cenderung berbohong, vii) pacaran

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kesulitan yang dialami oleh peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Alquran di Pesantren Perkampungan Minangkabau dan mengetahui metode yang digunakan guru dalam mengatasi kesulitan tersebut serta menganalisis hasil yang dicapai oleh peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan tipe penelitian studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditentukan dengan teknik Purposive Sampling yang berjumlah 18 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga bentuk kesulitan yang dialami oleh peserta didik, yaitu kesulitan memahami Makhrajal Huruf, Tajwid dan bentuk huruf Hijaiyah yang bersambung dengan huruf lain. Strategi yang digunakan guru untuk mengatasi kesulitan tersebut yaitu dengan mengadakan kelas khusus, kelas khusus ini diklasifikasikan ke dalam dua tingkatan, pertama kelas khusus dengan menggunakan metode Iqro’, kedua menggunakan metode Qira’ati. Dari hasil belajar peserta didik, terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar sebelum dan setelah strategi ini diterapkan, artinya strategi ini dapat mengatasi kesulitan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Alquran.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya akhlak peserta didik, sehingga membutuhkan pembinaan dari kepala sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kebijakan kepala sekolah dalam membina akhlak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif yang berlokasi di SMA Negeri 1 2x11 Kayutanam. Sumber data diambil melalui observasi, dokumentasi dan wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, guru PAI, dan peserta didik. Seluruh data dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Bentuk kebijakan yang dilaksanakan adalah Shalat zhuhur berjama’ah, shalat Dhuha, dan Kerohanian Islam (Rohis). (2) Dengan kebijakan ini, peserta didik patuh kepada guru, taat beribadah, hubungan peserta didik dengan guru menjadi harmonis, dan meningkatkan kedisiplinan serta kerapian peserta didik. (3) faktor pendukung pelaksanaan kebijakan ini adalah adanya partisipasi peserta didik, adanya teladan yang dapat dicontoh, adanya kerjasama yang baik antara sekolah dengan orang tua. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya yaitu, fasilitas kurang memadai, respon peserta didik berbeda-beda, dan faktor keluarga.

Abstract

This research is aimed to find the teachers‘ strategies in educating the student’s moral in primary school. The research used a qualitative method with the case study approach. The research data source was gotten by doing the interview, using a set interview protocol with fifteen respondents-the teacher of Islamic education, Quran teacher and the students. The data was analyzed thematically by using the software qualitative Nvivo 12. Overall, the results of the research got five themes relate to the teachers‘strategies in educating morals, such as:  Conducting weekly lectures, Set a good example at the school, Giving advice to the students individually, Teach the moral lesson at the school, and Giving a warning and punishment to the students that doing the bad thing. All of those strategies was done by the teachers based on the result of this research. It can be a reference to others in educating students‘moral.

Abstract

Yayasan Amal Saleh merupakan sebuah organisasi keagamaan yang diurus oleh mahasiswa. Mahasiswa merupakan penerus masa depan suatu bangsa. Mahasiswa menjadi tolak ukur akan keberlangsungan dan baiknya suatu negara, lahirnya YAS memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk karakter mahasiswa di perguruan tinggi umum Universitas Negeri Padang oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kegiatan di Yayasan Amal Saleh dalam Membentuk Karakter Mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study design). Sumber data di ambil dari dua puluh orang informan melalui wawancara yang mendalam. Informan merupakan mahasiswa aktif Perguruan Tinggi Umum Universitas Negeri Padang juga merupakan Santri Yayasan Amal Saleh. Teknik pengumpukan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Seluruh hasil wawancara kemudian dianalisis secara Tematik menggunakan sofwere analisis kualitatif Nvivo12. Secara keseluruhan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat kegiatan di Yayasan Amal Saleh dalam Membentuk Karakter Mahasiswa, yaitu: i) Ta’lim, ii) Tahsin, iii) Kuliah ahad pagi dan iv) Safari Ramadhan. Hasil penelitian ini juga telah membuktikan bahwa Yayasan Amal Saleh berhasil dan memiliki peran penting dalam melahirkan mahasiswa yang berkarakter.

Abstract

This study is aimed at exploring how to build family-based Islamic character in the Tablighi Jamaat community.  As a qualitative study, the research was conducted by using an ethnographic approach. The data were collected through direct interviews with ten informants which are the heads of the family that belong to the Tablighi Jamaat community. Moreover, the researcher was also involved in some religious activities of the community for two years that the observation during the activities can be used to reinforce the result of the interviews. Those activities are Ijtima’ (annual gathering), Bayan Markas (sermon), Ta’lim Halaqah, Khuruj (proselytizing tour), Jaulah, and some informal visits to interviewees’ families. All data, both interviews and direct observation, were thematically analyzed by using specific software, namely NVivo 12. Based on the data it is found that there are five major Islamic characters could be developed through the family-based character building in the Jama’ah Tablghi community, namely: (1) good moral conduct to parents, (2) having a sense of shame to violate the shari’a, (3) behaving based on Islamic shari’a, (4) time punctuality, (5) good moral characters. Finally, the findings reveal that the building of family-based Islamic characters in the Tablighi Jamaat community contributes to the positive effects of children's Islamic characters in family and community.

Abstract

Family has a crucial responsibility to give the basic and foremost educations that determine children’s moral in the future. This study aims to find out the moral problems of children from single parent families and mother's efforts to educate the children. This was qualitative research using case study design. Data were collected by carrying out in-depth interviews to ten selected informants using purposive sampling technique. Data analysis referred to Miles and Huberman’s. Overall, the study found eight children’s moral problems that were categorized into two aspects, they were obedience (ignoring parents) and personality problems such as gambling, fighting, stealing, being promiscuous, being badly affected by online game, lying, and dating. To overcome the moral problems, single mothers did three ways to educate their children, namely giving advice, exemplary, and punishment.

Abstract

The goal of national education is to develop the students’ potential to become virtuous, courteous, healthy, knowledgeable, skillful, creative, independent, democratic and responsible human beings, and be devoted to Allah S.W.T. In its implementation, Islamic Study subject has an important and strategic role in realizing the goals of national education. Generally, the teaching and learning process of this subject in university level is much better compared to the previous one, in either lecturer’s competence, curriculum or management system. Nevertheless, the fact also shows that most students take this subject only to complete the requirement of their study, not as a scientific need. This course has been designed to build the students’ charcaters and personality so that they could become knowledgeable and devoted to Allah SWT. Therefore, strategic steps based on more open and advanced paradigm and thought are needed. This article is intended to discuss strategic steps required in managing and conducting the teaching and learning process of Islamic Study in universities to achieve the specified goals maximally. The discussion is supported by related literature, expert opinions, and results of previous research relevant to the current study in term of context and issue

Abstract

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the largest Islamic countries lies in Arabian Peninsula. The government bases its legitimacy on its interpretation of Sharia (Islamic law) and the 1992 Basic Law. The Basic Law sets out the system of governance, rights of citizens, and powers and duties of the government. The law also provides that the Qur'an and the Traditions (Sunna) of the Prophet Muhammad serve as the country's constitution.  As an Islamic country which is rich in culture and natural resources, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia plays prominent influence in Islamic world for various aspects in politics, culture, economics, trading and education. The contribution of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can be clearly seen in education sector, particularly in Al-Quran and Sunnah studies. The country provides a wide opportunity and great facilitation for those who wants to study in Saudi Arabia in their own country. The founding of the Institute of Islamic and Arabic Science (LIPIA) in Indonesia as an important affiliation of Al Imaam University is regarded as real concern of Saudi Arabia in Islamic studies development. Further, pursuant to history of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, ulama plays respected crucial roles in the government. They are not merely respected for the high and exclusive knowledge in religion, but they are also regarded having capability in balancing the stability of the country. It implies that the government and ulama mutually work to protect the glory of Islam and the Kingdom
