Abstract

This qualitative research aims to describe the students' interests and learning outcomes by learning a flipped classroom assisted by Edmodo on Pythagorean material. This research was conducted at SMP Mu'adz Bin Jabal Kendari in 2020 for grade VIIIB students, totaling 31 students. Learning interest data is obtained through a learning interest questionnaire, and learning outcome test data is obtained through a learning outcome test with the Edmodo application. The data analysis technique of this research includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The results showed that Edmodo's flipped classroom had improved learning outcomes and student interest in learning at SMP-TQ Muadz bin Jabal Kendari on Pythagorean material. This is indicated by the level of completeness of student learning outcomes reaching 77% and student interest in learning is in the high category.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain a valid, practical, and effective instructional design of circle material for grade VIII of SMP-TQ Muadz Bin Jabal Kendari. Instructional design has developed based on Isman model (2011). To develop a design, learning devices and instruments were developed. The prototype were validated and the test showed by the average of validity value. The practicality was shown by the average percentage of achievement from the observation of teacher activity. The analysis result of the effectiveness of the design is measured based on the average of achievement from the observation of student activity, the average of circle reasoning ability and the average of the percentage of achievement of student responses questionnaire. Based on the finding, it can be concluded that the instructional design of circle material with Isman model for grade VIII of SMP-TQ Muadz Bin Jabal Kendari were valid, practice, and effective.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a mathematics learning instrument based on ispring suite for class VIII. This research method uses the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. The research subjects were selected as many as two classes from all students of class VIII MTs. S Nurul Iman Pomalaa. The data analysis technique used a validation questionnaire and a student response questionnaire. The research results obtained (1) material expert validation got an average value of 4.31 with very valid criteria, media experts got an average value of 4.5 with very valid criteria, (2) the results of the student response questionnaire on the ease of use of mathematics learning assessment instruments were 79 ,48 is included in the practical category to use and (3) the learning outcomes of class VIII Iman students who use the ispring suite-based assessment instrument are better than the learning outcomes of class VIII Takwa students who use conventional assessment instruments and the average class response of students to the benefits and suitability of the instrument the assessment of learning mathematics is 81.2. The ispring suite-based mathematics learning assessment instrument for number pattern material meets the criteria of being valid, practical, and effective.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effectiveness of giving quizzes based on wondershare quiz creators on students' ability to understand concepts in the Calculus I course. This research is an pre-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design. This study's population were all students of the Sembilabelas November Kolaka University Mathematics Education Study Program in the 2018/2019 academic year. The sample of this research is a saturated sample which is used as an experimental class with a total of 46 students. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferential with paired sample t-test with the SPSS application with a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that: (1) the average ability of students' concept understanding was in the medium category with an average of 70.66. (2) Learning by giving quizzes based on wondershare quiz creator is effectively applied in the Calculus I course to support students' conceptual understanding skills.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pemberian kuis berbasis wondershare quiz creator terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Kalkulus I. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Sembilabelas November Kolaka tahun akademik 2018/2019. Sampel penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh yang dijadikan sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah sebanyak 46 mahasiswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial dengan uji-t sampel berpasangan (paired sample t-test) dengan aplikasi SPSS taraf signifikansi 0,05. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa: (1) rerata kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa telah berada pada kategori sedang dengan rarta-rata mencapai 70,66. (2) Pembelajaran dengan pemberian kuis berbasis wondershare quiz creator efektif diterapkan dalam matakuliah Kalkulus I untuk mendukung kemampuan pemahaman konsep mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine students' interest in learning and mathematical resilience in online learning and their impact on understanding concepts. The research used in this study is Ex-post facto, namely research with a quantitative approach that aims to test or explain the relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The research was conducted at SMA Negeri 8 Kendari class XI students in the 2020/2021 academic year. The research sample was 24 students of Class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 8 Kendari. Sampling using purposive sampling technique based on students' readiness to participate in online learning without network constraints. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and tests. Questionnaires were used to obtain information about mathematical interest and resilience. In contrast, the test is used to obtain data about the ability to understand concepts. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive analysis technique and inferential analysis, which was carried out with the help of the SPSS 22 computer program. The results showed that students' interest in online learning had a significant influence on concept understanding. Likewise, students' mathematical resilience in online learning has a significant influence on conceptual understanding. The analysis results also show a significant effect of interest and resilience together on understanding mathematical concepts. The percentage contribution of the influence of interest and resilience variables on understanding mathematical concepts is 77.8%, while other variables influence the rest.

Abstract

The research objective used was to determine the effect of student interest and the learning environment on mathematics learning outcomes. This type of research is expo facto research. The sample in this study consisted of 47 students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kolaka who were randomly selected by means of a proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire of interest and the learning environment. The data analysis technique used in this research was descriptive statistical analysis techniques and inferential statistics with multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the following conclusions were obtained: (1) Learning interest, learning environment and learning outcomes of class students were in the high category. (2) There is a significant positive influence between interest in learning-on-learning outcomes in mathematics (3) There is a significant positive effect between the learning environment on learning outcomes in mathematics (4) There is a significant positive effect between interest in learning and the learning environment together on outcomes. learning mathematics class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kolaka with the regression equation Y ? = 59.48 + 0.05X1 + 0.19 X2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kepercayaan diri dan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas IXC SMPN 2 Latambaga. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 29 siswa kelas IXC SMPN 2 Latambaga. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket dan soal tes yang terdiri dari 4 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) tingkat kepercayaan diri siswa berada pada kategori sedang (2) kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa berada pada kategori sedang (3) siswa dengan tingkat kepercayaan diri tinggi mampu menyelesaikan tiga indikator dalam kemampuan pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator 1, 3 dan 4 (4) Siswa dengan tingkat kepercayaan diri sedang mampu menyelesaikan dua indikator dalam kemampuan pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator 2 dan 3 (5) Siswa dengan tingkat kepercayaan diri rendah mampu menyelesaikan dua indikator dalam kemampuan pemahaman konsep yaitu indikator 1 dan 4.

Abstract

This activity aims to improve the quality of life of the people of Lapao-pao Village amid the covid-19 pandemic, especially regarding health and environmental hygiene issues and children's interest in learning. The method of this activity was carried out in the form of thematic KKN, which synergizes knowledge and solves problems in the community through the concept of empowerment and fosters students in implementing the understanding that they were engaged in community life. The steps of this activity consist of preparation, implementation, and evaluation of activities. Implementation of the Community Service Program in Lapao-pao Village, Wolo District, Kolaka Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, for approximately one month starting on 3 September 2020 - 3 October 2020. Based on the activities carried out, it was concluded that all programs can be carried out well, smoothly, and realized 100%. With the implementation of these programs, it is hoped that it will be beneficial for the people of Lapao-pao Village. Especially in increasing the spirit of hard work, desire to progress, positive mental attitude, critical mindset, in the end, being able to develop themselves and maintain the health and cleanliness of the community environment.

Abstract

Kegiatan pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui pengembangan lahan, lingkungan sekitar dan kegiatan sosial berbasis KKN merupakan salah satu bentuk pengabdian yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Adanya kegiatan pengabdian KKN ini diharapkan menjadi solusi, motivasi, dan fasilitasi bagi masyarakat dalam rangka kemajuan  pembangunan di daerah pedesaan.  beberapa program kegiatan KKN disiapkan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran hidup sehat pada masyarakat. Beberapa masalah yang menjadi perhatian pengabdian  KKN ini, yaitu: 1) Pengadaan beberapa fasilitas pemerintah desa. Perhatian awal ditunjukkan pada kondisi fasilitas kantor desa yang masih kurang seperti pengadaan tempat sampah; 2) Tidak adanya sumber informasi tentang, batas desa, dan batas dusun; 3)     Tidak adanya pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah; 4) Tidak adanya tempat pembuangan sampah akhir. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pengabdian KKN di Desa Tikonu, yaitu: 1) munculnya dan meningkatnya kesadaran penduduk tentang pola hidup bersih; 2) tersediannya sarana yang dibutuhkan untuk membantu pemerintah dalam menjaga kebersihan desa; 3)terciptanya kerja bakti untuk membersihkan lingkungan sekitar desa; 4) meningkatnya hubungan emosional yang baik antar masyarakat yang ada di desa, dan meningkatkannya kebersihan lingkungan sekitar; 5) adanya kesadaran masyarakat dalam pemanfaatan pekarangan rumah.

Abstract

Pentingnya pengembangan kompetensi masyarakat khususnya pada masyrakat pesisir Desa Air Bajo serta pemenuhan fasilitas desa yang diperlukan untuk menunjang kelancaraan aktifvitas masyarakat dan kesejahteraan masyrakat. Salah satu upaya pengembangan dan pemenuhan tersebut dapat terlaksana melalui kegiatan pengabdian  KKN. KKN menjadi harapan dari memfasilitasi dan memotivasi mengatasi masalah-masalah pembanganunan di daerah pedesaan.   Tujuan dari pengabdian KKN ini adalah untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui les belajar,  menanamkan rasa cinta lingkungan pada masyarakat, menggagas peserta didik yang melek teknologi, menyediakan fasilitas desa, dan mengadakan perlombaan/game. Pelaksanaan pengabdian ini menggunakan metode sosialisasi serta pemberdayaan dengan mengikutsertakan secara langsung aparatur pemerintah dan masyarakat. Hasil yang didapatkan dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatnya mutu pendidikan melalui les belajar,  terciptanya rasa cinta lingkungan pada masyarakat, meningkatnya keterampilan peserta didik dalam teknologi, tersedianya fasilitas desa, dan meningkatnya rasa kebersamaan dan kerjasama melalui perlombaan.
