Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa kelas X dilihat dari pengetahuan metakognitif. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pelaksanaan penelitian ini berada di MA Darul Huda kelas X pada tahun ajaran 2022/2023. Penentuan subjek dilakukan dengan memberikan tes metacognitive awareness inventory (MAI). Dari hasil tes MAI diperoleh 2 subjek penelitian yaitu siswa dengan pengetahuan dominan deklaratif dan siswa dengan pengetahuan dominan prosedural. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan diperoleh dari angket pengetahuan metakognitif, soal tes dan transkrip wawancara. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis pengetahuan metakognitif dan soal tes berdasarkan indikator kemampuan literasi matematis. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh hasil yang menunjukkan bahwa subjek dengan pengetahuan dominan prosedural pada proses literasi matematis hanya memenuhi sebagian proses merumuskan (formulate) dan menafsirkan (interprete), serta dapat memenuhi proses menerapkan (employ). Sedangkan subjek dengan pengetahuan dominan deklaratif pada proses literasi matematis hanya memenuhi sebagian dari proses merumuskan (formulate) dan menafsirkan (interprete).

Abstract

Abstrak Jahe merah memiliki nama latin Zingiber officinale Linn varvrubrum, merupakan jenis tanaman terna dengan rimpang kuat dan menjalar, yang memiliki kandungan minyak atsiri, oleoresin dan pati lebih tinggi daripada jenis jahe lainnya, pengolahan jahe merah akan meningkatkan nilai ekonomi dan nilai manfaat khususnya manfaat kesehatan. Tujuan kegiatan yaitu melakukan pendampingan kepada kader dengan memberikan edukasi mengenai manfaat dan khasit jahe merah serta pengolahan jahe merah menjadi tisane dan aromaterapi. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan : penguatan pengetahuan kader terkait khasiat dan manfaat jahe merah terhadap kesehatan dan pembuatan produk jahe merah melalui pengolahan jahe merah menjadi tisane dan aromaterapi. Hasil evaluasi didapatkan nilai rata-rata pretest 49,23 menjadi 80,77 saat posttest atau meningkat sebesar 64,06%, sedangkan hasil evaluasi pengolahan jahe merah menjadi tisane jahe dan aromaterapi didapatkan nilai rata-rata pretest 47,69 menjadi 86,92 saat posttest atau meningkat sebesar 82,26%. Hasil pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat khsususnya para kader terkait peningkatan nilai ekonomi dan nilai manfaat dari jahe merah menjadi sebuah produk tisane dan aromaterapi jahe merah. Kata kunci: kader lansia;  jahe merah; tisane jahe; aromaterapi jahe; kesehatan. Abstract Red ginger has the Latin name Zingiber officinale Linn varvrubrum, is a type of herb plant with strong and spreading rhizomes, which has higher essential oil, oleoresin and starch content than other types of ginger. Processing red ginger will increase its economic value and beneficial value, especially health benefits. The aim of the activity is to provide assistance to cadres by providing education about the benefits and properties of red ginger as well as processing red ginger into tisane and aromatherapy. Activities carried out: strengthening cadres' knowledge regarding the properties and benefits of red ginger for health and making red ginger products through processing red ginger into tisane and aromatherapy. The evaluation results obtained an average pretest score of 49.23 to 80.77 during the posttest or an increase of 64.06%, while the evaluation results of processing red ginger into ginger tisane and aromatherapy obtained an average pretest value of 47.69 to 86.92 during the posttest. posttest or increased by 82.26%. Abstract

The negative perception that mathematics is abstract and rote-oriented leads to low student engagement and cognitive development. This study examines ethnomathematics as a contextual approach that connects formal mathematics with student culture. This study aims to describe the implementation of ethnomathematics, changes in student perceptions, and stimulation of cognitive development. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the study location in the seventh grade of Khairunnas Junior High School. Data were collected through in-depth participatory observation, field notes, interviews, and analysis of learning artifacts. Data analysis was conducted using Spradley's qualitative analysis model. The findings show that the success of implementation is influenced by the teacher's readiness to adapt a contextual approach. Through mentoring, teachers successfully deconstructed the perception that mathematics and culture cannot dialogue, shifting from simply matching formulas to contextual learning adjustments relevant to students' experiences. Students showed more positive changes in their perceptions of mathematics. Students saw mathematics as a skill relevant to their daily experiences. Empirically, ethnomathematics has been proven to improve students' cognitive levels. Cognitive abilities increased from C2 to C3–C4, as observed and confirmed by final assessment results. Ethnomathematics not only increased interest and motivation to learn but also fundamentally stimulated students' cognitive development toward higher-level thinking skills. The results of the study indicate that the integration of local culture has the potential to improve the quality of mathematics learning.
