Abstract

This community service aims to provide training of learning English based on linguistic constraints of regional languages to members of MGMP (Discussion Forum for English teacher) of Vocational High School of West Lombok. This service is relevant to sociocultural problems that the English teachers of the schools, especially vocational schools of West Lombok Regency. The problems the teachers are facing are (1) the influence of regional languages ​​still causes a decline in interest in learning English, (2) students are not yet aware of the influence of regional languages ​​spoken in English language practices, and (3) teachers have not found the right way to make students aware of the influence of their regional languages ​​in English lessons. This service was carried out through participatory method expecting direct participation of during the processes and stages from planning, implementation, and evaluation. Regarding the types of problems mentioned above, the services offered are as follows: (1) providing counseling to teachers about the types of influence of regional languages ​​spoken by students (regional languages ​​in NTB) on learning English subjects, (2) providing guidance to teachers on how to build student awareness so that they can anticipate the influence of regional languages ​​in learning English subjects, and (3) providing guidance on how to integrate learning based on linguistic constraints of regional languages ​​into English subject learning activities. The output expected from this Community Service are (1) the publication of a publication article in national proceedings and (2) a statement on the use of technology for implementing learning based on linguistic constraints of regional languages ​​in English language learning in vocational schools throughout West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service program is to find a new way to convert chicken feather waste into environmentally friendly and valuable animal feed. As an alternative to animal feed, chicken feather waste contains high protein. In this activity, the community is educated on how to process chicken feathers to support the sustainability of livestock farming and reduce environmental pollution. This program involves local farmers, small business groups, and academics. The results of the community service show that animal feed products made from chicken feather waste can increase feed efficiency, reduce production costs, and provide the community with new business opportunities. As a result, this project is expected to help improve community welfare in a sustainable manner and become a model for the application of appropriate technology in managing chicken feather waste.

Abstract

Oral health is one of the impacts that affect children's development in brain development, one of the oral health is dental health, dental health awareness needs to be reviewed from the environmental, educational, and public awareness aspects with treatment and prevention. These aspects are interrelated and influence each other, prevention and dental care of the community, especially children. Dental caries can be prevented early if there is participation from the family and the surrounding environment of Sukaramai Dua Village, which is a village in Aceh Tamiang, has a population of 2,776 with 820 active school children and 540 children under 7 years old. Among them have problems with oral health, especially dental problems. Based on the problems faced by partners, the Community Service team offers solutions, namely (1) Conducting counseling to Sukaramai Dua Community partners on the importance of maintaining dental health, especially for preschool children (2) Providing training to preschool children in cleaning their teeth properly. The method of implementing activities includes three main stages, namely field surveys, stage two socialization, stage three training. It is hoped that there will be an increase in knowledge and awareness of oral health, especially dental health which affects brain development in preschool children in Sukaramai Dua Village, Aceh Tamiang.

Abstract

Pada setiap musim kemarau diwilayah Pujut yang merupakan wilayah Penyangga KEK Mandalika sering mengalami kekurangan air, sehingga banyak lahan pertanian yang nganggur, sementara itu kebutuhan akan bahan pangan terus meningkat. Kebiasaan Masyarakat melakukan irigasi dengan cara-cara tradisional seperti cara penggenangan yang mengakibatkan penggunaan air tersebut menjadi boros perlu segera diakhiri, agar kegiatan pertanian disekitar KEK Mandalika terus dapat berjalan dengan baik. Untuk hal itu maka dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi air atau air irigasi yang ada, perlu dilakukan dengan cara-cara irigasi yang lebih teknis dan efisien seperti dengan penggunaan system tetes, agar potensi air yang lada dapat dimanfaatkan secara optimal untuk menjaga keberlanjutan kegiatan pertanian disekitar KEK Mandalika. Penyuluhan dan pelatihan guna penguatan pertanian berbasis irigasi tetes yang efisien di sekitar KEK Mandalika sangat perlu dilakukan, agar dukungan terhadap ketahanan pangan Masyarakat dalam jangka pendek dan jangka panjang dapat segera dilakukan. Hasil kegiatan tahapan awal survey, tahap penyuluhan irigasi tetes sebagai penguatan irigasi yang efisien pada peserta dan tahap pelatihan pembuatan jaringan irigasi tetes bertingkat menggunakan bahan pipa pvc, pipa NTF, emitter, tanah, kompos, polybag dan peralatan kerja. Pada setiap tahapan kegiatan dilakukan diskusi dan tanyajawab, akhir kegiatan dilakukan pelatihan usahatani dengan irigasi tetes di lokasi masyarakat. Pengabdian ini telah menyuluhkan irigasi tetes pada 15 petani produktif, membuat contoh penggunaan irigasi tetes dilakukan pada lokasi sekitar kantor desa, agar nantinya pembelajaran bagi masyarakat dilokasi tersebut. Pelatihan telah memberi wawasan bertani yang sederhana dan efisien air pada warga setempat, sehingga nantinya dapat membantu cara pemberian irigasi ke tanaman.

Abstract

Desa Pemepek di Kecamatan Pringgarata, Kabupaten Lombok Tengah, memiliki potensi wisata yang kaya akan keindahan alam dan budaya lokal. Namun, kurangnya pemanfaatan teknologi informasi dalam promosi wisata menjadi kendala dalam menarik minat wisatawan. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pendampingan pengelolaan website promosi wisata dilakukan untuk meningkatkan visibilitas destinasi wisata desa secara digital. Pendampingan ini mencakup pelatihan pengelolaan konten, optimasi SEO, serta pemanfaatan media sosial yang terintegrasi dengan website. Metode yang digunakan dalam pendampingan ini meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, dan evaluasi berkala guna memastikan website dikelola secara berkelanjutan oleh masyarakat desa. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan pengelola dalam mengelola website, serta meningkatnya jumlah kunjungan ke platform digital promosi wisata desa. Dengan adanya pendampingan ini, diharapkan Desa Pemepek dapat lebih dikenal oleh wisatawan domestik maupun mancanegara, sehingga berdampak positif terhadap perekonomian lokal. Abstract

Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah mendampingi dan membimbing mahasiswa PPG calon guru dalam praktek pembelajaran terbimbing pada PPL II Semester 2 Gelombang 1 tahun 2024 di SDN 18 Ampenan. Mahasiswa melaksanakan praktek pembelajaran terbimbing dalam format lesson study, diawali dengan menyusun rencana pembelajaran hingga melakukan refleksi dari pembelajaran yang dilakukan. Diskusi dan tanya jawab dilakukan sejak penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran hingga refleksi hasil pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan mahasiswa. Hasil observasi pembelajaran menunjukkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik, perangkat pembelajaran yang disusun telah dilaksanakan dengan sangat baik, walaupun masih harus ditingkatkan dalam keterampilan mengelola kelas dan membimbing kelompok. Mahasiswa dapat melakukan refleksi dan rencana tindak lanjut atas pembelajaran yang telah dilakukan. Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah mahasiswa telah memiliki kesiapan untuk melaksanakan praktek pembelajaran mandiri dengan tetap mengedepankan pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik.

Abstract

Gunung Rajak Village, East Lombok has an area of ​​624 hectares and a population of 6,875 people. The main problem faced by the village is the low level of community awareness and independence in handling waste. In the previous year, this village produced 3,322.5 kg of waste per day, more than 60% of which had not been managed optimally. PMD Unram KKN is very relevant to be implemented in this village with the general aim of increasing community awareness and independence in dealing with waste problems in Gunung Rajak Village with the specific aim of increasing community knowledge and skills in implementing the waste bank program, processing inorganic waste into art products and ecobricks and processing kitchen waste into ecoenzymes, maintaining environmental health and increasing community participation in planting trees in the Nenuju Green and Independent Village program. This activity was carried out by Mataram University students who were accompanied by supervisors, the Head of Gunung Rajak Village and his staff and partners from the local Health Service and the Mandalika Modern Nursery of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia. Activities were carried out using lecture, discussion, demonstration and practice methods with POSYANDU cadres and representatives of the Gunung Rajak Village community as the target audience. The results show that 85% of participants understand the waste bank program, processing waste into art products, eco-bricks and eco-enzymes and are committed to implementing this technique in their homes. The results also show that the community has participated in planting 1000 jackfruit tree seedlings at the main point covering an area of ​​0.5 ha and other strategic points covering an area of ​​4 ha in Gunung Rajak Village

Abstract

Alat pemasak sirup aren dengan sisem on-off dirancang untuk mengendalikan suhu pemasakan nira. Debit gas LPG dilakukan teknik by passuntuk menjaga nyala api kompor pemasakan mengecil apabila settingan suhu pemasakan tercapai. Selama proses pemasakan, pemantauan total padatan terlarut (TPT) nira aren dilakukan sampai mencapai kadar TPT 67 oBrix. Hasil uji coba pembuatan sirup aren dengan teknologi pemasakan nira aren suhu terkendali dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan pengaturan suhu 107oC untuk mencapai kualitas sirup aren yang bagus dengan nilai mutu TPT 69 oBrix dan viskositas 740 mPas. Alat pemaskaan ini dijadikan model instrumen utama dalam pengembangan pengolahan nira aren di KTH Giri Madia, Lombok Barat.

Abstract

The digital transformation era and technological advancements demand rapid adaptability from human resources, including the increasingly important utilization of data science across various industries. Statistics, as a core component of data science, plays a crucial role in transforming data into valuable information for decision-making. Considering the significance of statistical analysis, this skill has become one of the most sought-after in today's industrial world, especially for the younger generation, such as high school students, who will become agents of change in the future. Community service activities at SMA Negeri 1 Gunungsari, Lombok Barat, aim to enhance students understanding of the role of statistics in the digital transformation era. These activities include raising awareness about the importance of statistics in career choices and the application of statistical tools in digital contexts. Furthermore, the material delivered also covers how statistics can be used as a tool to address future industrial challenges. The evaluation of this activity shows an increase in students understanding, as evidenced by the post-test results, which show significant improvement compared to the pre-test. This demonstrates that raising awareness about statistics is effective in equipping students with relevant skills in the digital era. Therefore, similar activities are expected to be implemented in other schools to strengthen students readiness to utilize statistics as agents of change in the digital transformation era.

Abstract

Beef cattle are one of the meat producers that have the potential to realize Indonesia as the world's food barn by 2045. According to the expectations of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia. Indonesia will reach its golden age in 2045. The type of beef cattle in Indonesia is a cow that is adaptable and can live in the tropics. However, so far there are still obstacles in the beef cattle farming business, namely the lack of knowledge of farmers in their maintenance patterns, resulting in low production of livestock products. The determining factors for the quality of productivity are seeds, feed and livestock management. The animal feed factor dominates by 70% as a determinant of quality. Beef cattle farming is one of the contributors to protein sources. Livestock health management needs to be considered to reduce the possibility of farmers' losses due to diseases in livestock. This activity involves farmers directly in the process of injecting beef cattle. The target participants of community service activities are farmers who own cattle in Pekalobean Village. The methods used in this service activity include observation, counseling and evaluation. Livestock health management is one of the factors that directly affects the productivity of beef cattle. Optimal health in livestock is the main key to achieving maximum productivity. Therefore, livestock health care is very important. In addition to preventive efforts through maintained cage sanitation, providing vitamin supplements to livestock is also an important step to increase immunity. The administration of vitamin B complex to livestock has been proven to reduce stress and stimulate livestock growthThe program of giving vitamin B complex to beef cattle in Pekalobean village is a strategic step to improve the health and productivity of livestock. With good implementation, this program not only provides benefits for beef cattle, but also improves the welfare of farmers. It is hoped that this program can continue and become a model for other regions in an effort to improve the quality of livestock in Indonesia. Through good cooperation between the government, farmers, and the community, we can achieve a common goal in building a better livestock sector.
