Abstract

Peristiwa 23 Mei 1997 di Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan merupakan kerusuhan besar yang dipicu pertikaian kampanye Pemilu 1997 dan meluas menjadi isu rasial dengan etnis Tionghoa sebagai sasaran kekerasan di tengah krisis ekonomi dan politik jelang akhir Orde Baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelaskan proses bertahan dan membangun kembali kehidupan etnis Tionghoa pasca kerusuhan tersebut. Selama ini, kajian mengenai Peristiwa 23 Mei 1997 terbatas pada jalannya peristiwa kerusuhan saja. Dampak panjang, termasuk trauma yang menyertai korban kerusuhan bertahun-tahun setelah peristiwa, masih sangat jarang diteliti. Metode sejarah digunakan dengan sumber berupa surat kabar sezaman, laporan penelitian, dan wawancara saksi sejarah, menggunakan pendekatan sejarah sosial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun mengalami serangan masif dan harus mengungsi, bahkan menghadapi krisis berikutnya pada 21 Mei 1998, etnis Tionghoa sebagai kelompok minoritas mampu bertahan melewati masa-masa krisis. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa etnis Tionghoa berhasil memulihkan kembali kehidupan sosial ekonominya seperti sebelum krisis, meskipun sebagian tidak kembali ke Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Learning to write news texts is an important part of developing language skills for grade VII students. However, in practice, many students have difficulty in composing news texts in a coherent, factual, and correct manner. This study aims to describe the planning, implementation, and learning outcomes of writing news texts using Educaplay media, an interactive digital platform designed to increase student participation and interest in learning. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, documentation, and analysis of students' written work. The teaching module is analyzed to determine the use of digital media in the learning process, while students' writing results are evaluated based on news text assessment guidelines that include structure, language, and clarity of information. The subjects in this study were 22 grade VII students of MTs Tanwiriyah Kalisari in the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The results showed that the use of Educaplay media significantly increased students' enthusiasm, creativity, and ability to write news texts. The average student score reached 80, which is included in the very good category. In conclusion, Educaplay media is effective for use in learning to write news texts and is recommended as an interesting and relevant innovation in Indonesian language learning with current developments.Pembelajaran menulis teks berita merupakan bagian penting dalam pengembangan keterampilan berbahasa siswa kelas VII. Namun, dalam praktiknya, banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam menyusun teks berita secara runtut, faktual, dan sesuai dengan struktur yang benar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan hasil pembelajaran menulis teks berita dengan menggunakan media Educaplay, sebuah platform digital interaktif yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan partisipasi dan minat belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan analisis hasil karya tulis siswa. Modul ajar dianalisis untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan media digital dalam proses pembelajaran, sedangkan hasil tulisan siswa dievaluasi berdasarkan pedoman penilaian teks berita yang mencakup struktur, kebahasaan, dan kejelasan informasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 siswa kelas VII MTs Tanwiriyah Kalisari pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media Educaplay secara signifikan meningkatkan antusiasme, kreativitas, dan kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks berita. Rata-rata nilai siswa mencapai 80, yang tergolong dalam kategori sangat baik. Kesimpulannya, media Educaplay efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks berita dan direkomendasikan sebagai inovasi pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia yang menarik dan relevan dengan perkembangan zaman.

Abstract

Science is an inseparable part of human life and continues to develop along with the progress of the times. In the 21st century, the rapid development of science and technology, especially in the field of information and communication, requires students to have complex skills. In science learning itself, conceptual understanding is very important because it is the basis for students to connect various concepts logically and systematically. Conversely, errors in understanding concepts can lead to misconceptions. Misconceptions are a person's conception that is not in accordance with the scientific concept recognized by experts. This study was conducted to determine the misconceptions that occur in grade IV elementary school students. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews. This study involved sources, namely grade IV homeroom teachers. The results of the study include showing the implementation, theory and practitioners. From the three indicators, it can be concluded that overcoming misconceptions among students requires collaboration between teachers, students, and parents, as well as the use of technology and various learning resources. Teachers must be proactive in correcting misconceptions and creating a learning environment that supports correct understanding. Sains merupakan bagian tak terpisahkan dari kehidupan manusia dan terus berkembang seiring kemajuan zaman. Di abad 21, pesatnya perkembngan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, terutama dibidang infromasi dan komunikasi menuntut siswa harus memiliki keterampilan yang kompleks. Dalam pembelajaran sains sendiri, pemahaman konseptual sangat penting karena mnejadi dasar bagi siswa dalam menghubungkan berbagi konsep secara logis dan sistematis. Sebaliknya, kesalahan dalam memahami konsep dapat menimbulkan miskonsepsi. Miskonsepsi adalah suatu konsepsi seseorang yang tidak sesuai dengan konsep ilmiah yang diakui para ahli. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi yang terjadi pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara. Penelitian ini melibatkan narasumber yakni wali kelas IV. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan tentang penerapan, teori dan praktisi. Dari ketiga indikator tersebut, dapat disimpulkan untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi di kalangan siswa memerlukan kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua, serta pemanfaatan teknologi dan sumber belajar yang beragam. Guru harus proaktif dalam meluruskan miskonsepsi dan menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung pemahaman yang benar. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian adalah miskonsepsi IPA pada siswa kelas IV SD disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, dan guru dapat mengatasinya melalui interaksi dan diskusi. Guru menggunakan contoh nyata dan media interaktif serta melibatkan orang tua. Kolaborasi dengan guru lain dan sumber belajar berbagai penting untuk meningkatkan pemahaman.

Abstract

Poster learning media is one of the tools that can be used by teachers to convey information to students such as encouraging understanding and arousing enthusiasm related to learning so that it is easy to understand. This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility of poster media as a learning aid in the material of plant body parts science for grade IV students in Elementary Schools. This study uses the Research & Development (R&D) method with a 4D model with development stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate, but the final stage is not used in this study. Data collection techniques use questionnaires for media experts and material experts as well as student questionnaires. The results of the study showed that the validation of media experts and material experts obtained an average percentage of 94.23% and 84.61%. While the operational trial on the student response questionnaire obtained an average percentage of 96%. The conclusion of the study shows that poster media as a learning aid in the material of plant body parts science for grade IV students in Elementary Schools is said to be very feasible to use in learning.Media pembelajaran poster menjadi salah satu alat bantu yang dapat digunakan oleh guru untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada siswa seperti mendorong pemahaman dan membangkitkan antusias terkait dengan pembelajaran sehingga mudah dimengerti. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan media poster sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran pada materi IPA bagian tubuh tumbuhan siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Reaserch & Development (R&D) dengan model 4D dengan tahap pengembangan, yaitu Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Develop (Pengembangan), dan Disseminate (Penyebarluasan), tetapi tahap akhir tidak digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk ahli media dan ahli materi serta angket siswa. Analisis data peneltian ini menggunakan rumus skala likert. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa validasi ahli media dan ahli materi mendapatkan presentase rata-rata 94,23% dan 84,61%. Sedangkan uji coba operasional pada angket respon siswa mendapatkan presentase rata-rata 96%. Simpulan dari penelitian menunjukan media poster sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran pada materi IPA bagian tubuh tumbuhan siswa kelas IV di Sekolah Dasar dikatakan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Disarankan agar penelitian selanjutnya mengeksplorasi efektivitas media poster dalam meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dengan membandingkannya dengan media pembelajaran visual lainnya.

Abstract

Teachers have not handled the learning of waste sorting material systematically due to the inappropriate use of learning media, so that students' understanding of waste sorting is low. This study aims to analyze the effect of integrated video series of Acehnese tales on students' understanding of waste sorting. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design. The study population was 154 students and the research sample was 43 students selected by random sampling. The instrument used was a test. Data analysis used independent samples t-testt. The results showed that the average score of understanding of waste sorting in the experimental class was 88.69 while the control class was 72.27 and there was a difference between the experimental group and the control group, with a significance value of 0.000 <0.005. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant difference in students' understanding of waste sorting between the experimental group and the control group. It can be concluded that the integrated video series of Acehnese tales has an effect on understanding of waste sorting.Guru belum menangani pembelajaran materi pemilahan sampah secara sistematis disebabkan ketidaktepatan penggunaan media pembelajaran, sehingga pemahaman siswa mengenai pemilahan sampah rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh video berseri terintegrasi hikayat Aceh terhadap pemahaman siswa dalam memilah sampah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group. Populasi penelitian berjumlah 154 siswa dan sampel penelitian berjumlah 23 orang siswa yang dipilih secara random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor pemahaman memilah sampah pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 88,69 sedangkan kelas kontrol sebesar 72,27 serta terdapat perbedaan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,005. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan signifikan pemahaman siswa dalam memilah sampah antara kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa video berseri terintegrasi hikayat Aceh memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemahaman memilah sampah.

Abstract

There are still many elementary school teachers who are not yet able to develop digital LKPD so that learning is less interesting for students.This community service aims to: (1) improve the skills of elementary school teachers in developing digital differentiated Student Worksheet and (2) improve the critical thinking skills of elementary school students through the development of differentiated Student Worksheets. This community service was carried out at Kebakalan Elementary School, Karanggayam, Kebumen, starting with a needs analysis to obtain information and problems experienced by teachers and students. After an agreement was reached between the teachers, principals and the P2M team, workshops, training, guidance and mentoring were carried out in making differentiated digital Student Worksheets. To determine the development and success of achieving the target of at least 85% of teachers skilled in making differentiated digital Student Worksheets, monitoring and evaluation were carried out. The outputs of this community service consist of mandatory outputs in the form of: community service articles in ISSN journals, community service activity articles in print or online media, and community service activity videos. The additional outputs are in the form of Differentiated Digital Student Worksheets. Masih banyak guru SD yang belum mampu mengembangkan LKPD digital sehingga pembelajaran kurang menarik peserta didik. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) meningkatkan keterampilan guru SD dalam pengembangan LKPD digital berdiferensiasi dan (2) meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik SD melalui pengembangan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berdiferensiasi. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Kebakalan, Karanggayam, Kebumen dengan diawali analisis kebutuhan untuk mendapatkan informasi dan permasalahan yang dialami para guru dan peserta didiknya. Setelah terjadi kesepakatan antara para guru, kepala sekolah dan tim P2M kemudian dilakukan kegiatan workshop, pelatihan, pembimbingan, pendampingan pembuatan LKPD digital berdiferensiasi. Untuk mengetahui perkembangan dan keberhasilan mencapai target  minimal 85 % guru terampil membuat LKPD digital berdiferensiasi, maka dilakukan monitoring dan evaluasi. Luaran pengabdian ini terdiri dari luaran wajib berupa: artikel pengabdian di jurnal ber-ISSN, artikel kegiatan pengabdian di media cetak atau online, dan video kegiatan pengabdian. Adapun luaran tambahan berupa LKPD Digital Berdiferensiasi.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology makes learning readiness a crucial competency for both teachers and students. The readiness of teachers and students in implementing digital literacy encompasses an understanding of scientific concepts and the ability to apply knowledge in solving everyday problems. This research aims to evaluate the readiness of teachers and students to face digital literacy in science education to enhance problem-solving skills. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research design with the participation of elementary school teachers and students. A mixed-methods approach was utilized, involving 23 respondents, combining observation sheets, checklists, and interviews to assess the understanding and ability of teachers and students to effectively utilize technology in the learning process. The results, analyzed through descriptive statistics, indicate that teachers and students have met most of the aspects used in the application of digital literacy. This research concludes that teachers and students are considered ready to implement digital literacy learning to improve problem-solving abilities in science education.Perkembangan teknologi yang pesat menjadikan kesiapan belajar kompetensi penting bagi guru dan siswa, kesiapan guru dan siswa dalam pengimplementasian literasi digital mencakup pemahaman konsep ilmiah dan kemampuan menerapkan pengetahuan dalam memecahkan masalah sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kesiapan guru dan siswa dalam menghadapi literasi digital pada pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan problem solving. Penelitian menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan partisipasi guru dan siswa Sekolah Dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah mix method, dengan mengambil 23 responden yang menggabungkan lembar observasi, ceklist dan wawancara untuk menilai pemahaman dan kemampuan guru serta siswa dalam memanfaatkan teknologi secara efektif dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil pengolahan data melalui statistik deskriptif penelitian menunjukkan bahawa guru dan siswa sudah memenuhi sebagain besar aspek yang digunakan dalam penerapan literasi digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa guru dan siswa sudah dikatakan siap dalam menerapkan pembelajaran literasi digital sebagai peningkatan kemampuan problem solving pada pembelajaran IPA.

Abstract

Low School Well-being (SWB) indicates that many elementary school students do not feel a safe and comfortable learning environment that supports their optimal emotional, social, and academic development. This study aims to: (1) identify SWB in elementary schools, (2) measure the impact of the differentiated PjBL model on the SWB of elementary school students, and (3) analyze the relationship between the differentiated PjBL model and SWB. The research method used in this study is a mixed-methods explanatory sequential design.The total sample for this study consisted of 61 grade V elementary school students. Qualitative data were collected through observation, interviews, and document review. Meanwhile, quantitative data were obtained from the questionnaire results. The instruments used to collect data included observation sheets to measure the differentiated PjBL model and the SWB questionnaire. The results of the study showed that: (1) the level of school well-being was in the high category, (2) the differentiated PjBL model in science learning had a significant positive impact on increasing the SWB of elementary school students. The application of the differentiated PjBL model can improve SWB in the era of merdeka curriculum in elementary schools. This study concludes that the application of the differentiated PjBL model contributes positively to SWB in elementary schools.

Abstract

Fourth-grade students at SDN 01 Purwogondo struggle with English speaking skills, especially vocabulary and pronunciation, due to limited confidence, low motivation, and monotonous teaching methods lacking engaging media. The purpose of this study was to determine the use and effect of snakes and ladders game activities on students' speaking skills. This study investigated at SDN 01 Purwogondo in Grade IV totaling 30 students. This study used a quantitative research design using a pre-test and post-test. Speaking performance was evaluated based on vocabulary, fluency, pronunciation, and comprehension. The results showed a significant increase in students' speaking skills, with an average pre-test score of 66.2 and a post-test score rising to 92.9. The results of the paired sample t-test calculation with a sign (2 tails) the result was .000, lower than 0.05 as a significance level. The results of the analysis obtained a p-value of 0.000, so H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, and the results of the hypothesis showed that there was a significant increase in students' speaking skills after using the snakes and ladders game. Siswa kelas empat di SDN 01 Purwogondo mengalami kesulitan dalam keterampilan berbicara bahasa Inggris, terutama dalam hal kosakata dan pelafalan, akibat kurangnya kepercayaan diri, motivasi yang rendah, dan metode pengajaran yang monoton tanpa media yang menarik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menentukan penggunaan dan pengaruh aktivitas permainan ular tangga terhadap keterampilan berbicara siswa. Penelitian ini menyelidiki di SDN 01 Purwogondo pada Kelas IV yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test. Kinerja berbicara dievaluasi berdasarkan kosakata, kelancaran, pengucapan, dan pemahaman. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan berbicara siswa, dengan skor rata-rata pra-tes menjadi 66,2 dan skor pasca-tes naik menjadi 92,9. Hasil perhitungan uji-t sampel berpasangan dengan tanda (2 ekor) hasilnya adalah .000, lebih rendah dari 0,05 sebagai tingkat signifikansi. Hasil analisis memperoleh nilai p sebesar 0,000, jadi H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima, dan hasil hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan yang signifikan dalam keterampilan berbicara siswa setelah menggunakan permainan ular tangga.

Abstract

This article discusses various journals that explore the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) in the learning process, especially to strengthen students' cultural understanding at the elementary level. The findings of the analysis indicate that the CRT approach is able to encourage students to understand and appreciate cultural diversity through learning experiences that are relevant to the social and cultural context. Meanwhile, the use of Assemblr Edu, which is a media based on augmented reality technology, has been proven to increase students' interest in learning and help in understanding cultural material visually and in depth. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of combining the CRT method with the support of digital media such as Assemblr Edu which has significant potential in developing cultural literacy among students, especially in Pancasila Education lessons at the elementary level.Salah satu kompetensi penting dalam penguatan karakter siswa, di era multicultural saat ini khususnya melalui pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila adalah pemahaman budaya. Tujuan dari kajian ini adalah untuk menganalisis literatur terkait penerapan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dalam proses pendidikan, terutama dalam memperdalam pemahaman budaya siswa di jenjang sekolah dasar. Di samping itu, penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk meneliti kemungkinan penggunaan aplikasi Assemblr Edu sebagai alat pembelajaran yang relevan dan interaktif untuk mendukung pembelajaran yang berbasis budaya. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode Systematic Literature Review (SLR), yaitu cara analisis literatur yang dilakukan secara sistematis, teratur, dan dapat diulang untuk menemukan, menilai, dan menggabungkan temuan-temuan penelitian yang relevan sebelumnya. Temuan dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan CRT mampu mendorong siswa untuk mengerti dan menghargai keragaman budaya lewat pengalaman belajar yang relevan dengan konteks sosial dan budaya. Sementara itu, penggunaan Assemblr Edu yang merupakan media berbasis teknologi augmented reality terbukti dapat meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa dalam belajar serta membantu dalam pemahaman materi budaya secara visual dan mendalam. Menggabungkan pendekatan CRT dengan media berbasis digital seperti AR, memberikan kesempatan besar untuk membangun proses pembelajaran yang lebih relevan, memiliki makna, dan berdasar pada keragaman budaya siswa dalam Pendidikan Pancasila Tingkat sekolah dasar
