This study aims to comprehensively examine epigenetic mechanisms in embryonic development, focusing on the role of chromatin modification and cell programming as regulators of gene expression without changes in DNA sequence. The type of study used was qualitative , with a descriptive approach through literature review, which examined scientific literature from reputable international journals such as Nature, Trends in Genetics, and The FEBS Journal published between 2015 and 2025. Data were collected through systematic searches of scientific articles using thematic and inductive analysis techniques, including theme identification, data reduction, and concept categorization. The results of the study show that DNA methylation, acetylation, and histone methylation are key factors in regulating gene expression during the zygotic genome activation (ZGA) phase and the formation of cell lineages. This process demonstrates the complex interaction between epigenetic and transcriptional factors that determine the direction of cell differentiation. In addition, similarities in epigenetic regulation principles between mammals and plants were found, indicating the conservation of biological mechanisms across species. The implications of the study " " include the development of regenerative therapies, increased effectiveness of assisted reproductive technologies, and innovations in agricultural biotechnology. In conclusion, this study confirms that epigenetics is an important layer of regulation in developmental biology that enriches our understanding of the mechanisms of life formation from the earliest stages.

Indonesia’s Marine Fisheries Resources Supervisory Agency is a government institution under the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries which is committed to continuing to combat illegal fishing and destructive fishing, considering that illegal fishing activities that often occur are fish theft by foreign fishing vessels originating from several neighboring countries. The aim of this research is to analyze the role of fishery supervisors in supervising illegal fishing and destructive fishing practices in North Maluku Province. This was empirical legal research which utilizes both literature review and fieldwork, including interviews. The research results demonstrate the urgency of criminal law's function as an ultimum remedium. To support the realization of sustainable development in the fisheries sector, it is necessary to regulate alternative sanctions for perpetrators of illegal and destructive fishing that are anticipatory in nature. These alternative sanctions can take the form of sanctions aimed at social and economic improvements and repair of damage to fish resources and their ecosystems caused by illegal and destructive fishing practices. Fishery supervisors have the role in supervising illegal and destructive fishing practices in North Maluku Province. The Fishery Supervisory law enforcement system and partners have the role in stopping illegal fishing practices and destructive fishing in North Maluku Province.

This study examines the implementation of the care function for detainees and prisoners at the Class IIB Barru Detention Center based on the provisions of Law Number 22 of 2022 concerning Corrections. The analysis focuses on three main aspects: the fulfillment of basic rights in the form of health and nutritional needs, rehabilitation programs, and protection for vulnerable groups. The results show that the detention center has attempted to carry out its care function through basic health services, food distribution, and coaching activities, although various structural limitations limit the quality of services. Significant overcapacity conditions impact the level of environmental health, the effectiveness of rehabilitation programs, and meeting the special needs of inmates, especially those with disabilities and chronic illnesses. Limited infrastructure and the number of health workers and correctional officers exacerbate challenges in health maintenance and management of residential space. The study's conclusion confirms that the implementation of care has not fully met the mandate of the law due to high pressure on detention capacity. Therefore, improvements in facilities, strengthening human resources, and ongoing policy support are needed to optimally implement humanitarian principles in correctional facilities.

This study aims to explore the role of working memory and cognitive load in mathematics learning through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This review was conducted to obtain a comprehensive understanding of how working memory capacity and cognitive load management influence mathematical thinking processes, conceptual understanding, and problem-solving performance. The SLR procedure refers to the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, which include the stages of identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Article searches were conducted through the Scopus and Springer Nature Link databases, covering publications from 2015 to 2025. From the articles identified, six met the inclusion criteria and were analyzed thematically. The findings show that visuo-spatial working memory has a significant relationship with mathematical ability, particularly in the development of symbolic representation and problem-solving skills. Additionally, learning effectiveness is strongly influenced by instructional design that manages cognitive load, where strategies such as worked examples, scaffolding, and question-asking have been shown to reduce excessive cognitive load. This review highlights the importance of instructional approaches that consider students’ working memory capacity and cognitive load regulation in order to achieve optimal mathematical understanding.
