Abstract

The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, UNDIKMA, in collaboration with the Al-Atqiyah Mosque in Mataram City, conducted an inspection of sacrificial animals on Eid al-Adha. The inspection aims to provide a sense of security to the public with ASUH meat products. The inspection of sacrificial animals includes a health inspection before slaughter (ante-mortem) and then continued with an inspection after the sacrificial animals are slaughtered (post-mortem). The inspection of sacrificial animals was carried out from June 6 to 7, 2025. The inspection of sacrificial animals was carried out on 14 sacrificial animals consisting of 3 cows and 11 goats. The ante-mortem inspection found that the 14 sacrificial animals were in healthy condition. The results of the post-mortem examination of the liver, heart, spleen, lungs, and kidneys did not find any organ changes and lesions from the characteristics of infectious or zoonotic diseases. In the post-mortem examination, only Fasciola sp worms were found in 15.38% of the 14 sacrificial animals examined. Fasciola sp was found in one cow (33.33%) of the 3 cows examined and Fasciola sp was also found in only one goat (9.09%) of the 11 goats examined, so the sacrificial meat is suitable for public consumption.

Abstract

This Community Service program aims to enhance social skills and raise awareness of the importance of creating a safe, inclusive, and bullying-free school environment through training for teachers and students in grades 2–6 at SD Negeri 3 Celuk. The activity was carried out on July 10, 2025, using an educational approach tailored to the developmental stages of the participants, ensuring that the material was easily understood and applicable to their daily behavior. The training was conducted interactively through lectures, group discussions, role-play simulations, and the signing of written commitments by students to refrain from bullying as a form of support toward a positive school culture. For teachers, the program focused on strategies to manage a supportive classroom climate, strengthen communication skills, and implement early intervention techniques when signs of bullying appear, enabling them to improve both prevention and handling of bullying incidents. To evaluate the effectiveness of the program, pretests and posttests were administered to teachers. The results showed a significant increase in understanding, particularly among teachers, with the average score rising from 72% before the training to 93% afterward. This improvement indicates that the training contributed to enhanced knowledge, increased empathy, and better social skills that support the realization of a child-friendly school. In addition to providing direct benefits to the community of SD Negeri 3 Celuk, this program is expected to serve as a good practice model that can be replicated in other elementary schools, thereby strengthening sustainable efforts to prevent bullying within primary education settings.

Abstract

The capability of educators to respond to the dynamics of 21st-century education is a primary determinant in establishing a high-quality learning environment. Based on initial findings at SMAN 7 Mataram, a disparity was identified between the urgency of applying varied learning models and the reality in the field, which still relies heavily on conventional, teacher-centered approaches. This situation implies minimal active student participation and suboptimal stimulation of critical thinking skills or Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This community service program was initiated to escalate teacher capacity at SMAN 7 Mataram, specifically in designing Deep Learning-based schemes. The implementation approach adopted the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, involving the full attention of 70 teachers through a series of phases, ranging from preparation and implementation to evaluation and mentoring. Key interventions included training on compiling Deep Learning-oriented Lesson Plans and teaching simulations. Program effectiveness was measured through questionnaires, lesson plan document reviews, and observations. Evaluation data showed a substantial positive impact, marked by an increase in conceptual understanding of Deep Learning indicators (40%), 6C principles (40%), the teacher's function as a facilitator (32%), and the application of authentic assessment (40%). In terms of implementation, the quality of lesson plans accommodating student-centered activities surged significantly from 30% in the pre-activity phase to 100% after the activity. It can be concluded that this program effectively boosts teachers' pedagogical competence comprehensively and encourages the transformation of teaching practices in the classroom to become more dynamic.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) was implemented in the Taruna Tani Lombok Organik Farmer Group located in East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The main problems faced by partners include dependence on inefficient manual watering, poor control of the chili growing environment, and high risk of post-harvest losses due to traditional drying methods that depend on the weather. In addition, chili waste has not been optimally utilized as a value-added product. To address these issues, this PKM activity implemented solutions in the form of the construction and assistance in the application of Smart Nethouse based on automatic watering and Dome Solar Dryer based on solar energy. The implementation methods included socialization, technical training, operational assistance, and descriptive evaluation of changes in cultivation and post-harvest practices. The results of the activity show an increase in irrigation efficiency, farmers' understanding of microclimate management, acceleration of the chili drying process, and changes in farmers' attitudes towards the utilization of chili waste as an opportunity for derivative products. This program contributes to increasing the technical capacity of farmers and strengthening sustainable agricultural practices based on appropriate technology.
