Journal of Community Empowerment is multidisciplinary scientific journal in the field of empowerment and community Service, published by the English Department Universitas Muhammadiyah Mataram with a publication period of two times in one year, namely in June and December. This journal covers some general problems from the results of research implemented to the community services including (1) social humanities, science, applied science, economic, health, cultural, ICT Development, and administration services, (2) Training and improvement in the results of educational, agricultural, information and communication, and appropriate technology, (3) community empowerment, students community services, local food security, marketing, and less developed region. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thoughts or ideas and research results that have been achieved in the field of service to the community. This journal accepts manuscript in Bahasa or English.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPara petani dan peternak di Desa Sigar Penjalin dihadapkan pada permasalahan terkait rendahnya nilai tambah komoditas jambu mete, inefisiensi usaha ternak akibat keterbatasan pakan di musim kemarau, lemahnya pembukuan, dan akses pasar pascagempa serta pandemi. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk meningkatkan kapasitas produksi bernilai tambah, memperkuat manajemen usaha, dan membuka akses pemasaran offline dan online bagi kelompok tani briuk patuh dan kelompok ternak briuk maju. Metode meliputi sosialisasi, diskusi kelompok terarah, pelatihan teknis berupa pembuatan abon dari daging mete dan pembuatan kacang mete dari biji mete, pembuatan pakan fermentasi, pendampingan manajerial berupa literasi keuangan, pencatatan keuangan digital, branding dan kemasan produk, serta pemasaran online. Sebesar 80% peserta mengalami kenaikan literat finansial dan 75% mengadopsi pencatatan digital, dengan evaluasi pre dan post test. Melalui implementasi yang diberikan pada kegiatan ini, dapat produksi kacang mete sebanyak 200 kg/bulan, dapat memproduksi abon daging mete sebanyak 30–50 kg/bulan, dapat memproduksi pakan fermentasi sebanyak 200 kg/bulan, dan pembuatan toko online di e-commerce shopee serta marketplace facebook. Integrasi teknologi tepat guna, inovasi pengolahan produk, dan manajemen keuangan serta pemasaran efektif meningkatkan kemandirian ekonomi lokal.Kata kunci: Pemberdayaan Desa; Jambu Mete; Pakan Fermentasi; Pemasaran Online; Keuangan Digital. ABSTRACTFarmers and livestock breeders in Sigar Penjalin Village are faced with challenges related to low cashew value, livestock business inefficiency due to limited feed during the dry season, weak bookkeeping, and market access following the earthquake and pandemic. The objective of this activity was to increase value-added production capacity, strengthen business management, and open offline and online marketing access for the Briuk Patuh farmer group and the Briuk Maju livestock group. Methods included outreach, focus group discussions, technical training in the form of making shredded cashew meat and making cashew nuts from cashew kernels, making fermented feed, managerial assistance in the form of financial literacy, digital financial recording, product branding and packaging, and online marketing. Eighty percent of participants experienced an increase in financial literacy and 75% adopted digital recording, with pre- and post-test evaluations. Through the implementation provided in this activity, cashew nut production can reach 200 kg/month, can produce 30–50 kg/month of cashew meat shredded cashew meat, can produce 200 kg/month of fermented feed, and can create online stores on the e-commerce platform Shopee and the Facebook marketplace. Integration of appropriate technology, product processing innovation, and effective financial and marketing management increases local economic independence.Keywords: Village Empowerment; Cashew Nuts; Fermented Feed; Online Marketing; Digital Finance.

Abstract

ABSTRAKWarung Bu Mat belum digitalisasi. Konsumen warung Bu Mat hanya mengandalkan pengunjung kantor lurah selamat, bahkan nyaris tidak ada pengunjung, sehingga produk tidak terjual lebih dari satu bulan. Kondisi tersebut menyebabkan ketidakaktifan warung Bu Mat. Padahal, kader PKK yang memiliki usaha masih mampu memproduksi jika ada pesanan. Diperlukan keaktifan kembali warung Bu Mat. Pengabdian bertujuan agar warung Bu Mat melakukan transformasi pemasaran konvensional ke digitalisasi melalui peningkatan pemahaman dan keterampilan membuat konten marketing sehingga memperluas target pasar. Metode pelaksanaan yakni pelatihan dan penyuluhan. Pelaksanaan terdiri dari persiapan, sosialisasi, pelatihan dan penyuluhan, penerapatan teknologi, dan evaluasi. Mitra pengabdian adalah warung Bu Mat. Jumlah peserta kegiatan enam orang. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman dan keterampilan peserta, pertama materi edit foto, teks dan video di aplikasi canva dan capcut  nilai pre-test 40% ke post-test 72% meningkat 31,8%. Kedua merancang bisnis dengan business model canvas (BMC) nilai  pre-test 42% ke  post-test 81% meningkat 39,3%.  Ketiga materi AIDCA dengan nilai  pre-test 40% ke 80,4% meningkat 39,5%, serta keempat materi ciri-ciri orang kreatif nilai 49% ke 75% meningkat 25%. Peserta mampu membuat konten marketing produk UP2K warung Bu Mat. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak nyata dalam mendorong transformasi pemasaran digitalisasi guna mengaktivasi warung Bu Mat.                                                                    Kata kunci: Digitaliasasi; Konten Marketing; Warung Bu Mat; Target Pasar. ABSTRACTBu Mat stall has not been digitized. The shop's customers are limited to relying only on visitors to the village head's office, even there are almost no visitors, even products have not been sold for more than a month. This condition causes the inactivity of the Shop Bu Mat. Even though the PKK cadres who own the business are still able to produce if there are orders. It is necessary to reactivate the shop Bu Mat. The service aims for the shop Bu Mat to transform conventional marketing to digitalization by increasing the understanding and skills of creating marketing content so as to expand the target maker. The implementation method is training and counseling. The implementation consists of preparation, socialization, training and counseling, technology application, and evaluation. The service partner is Bu Mat's stall. The number of participants is six people.  The evaluation results showed a significant increase in the understanding and skills of the participants, firstly, photo, text and video editing material in the Canva and Capcut applications, the pre-test score of 40% to the post-test 72% increased 31.8%. Secondly, designing a business with a business model canvas (BMC) pre-test score of 42% to the post-test 81% increased 39.3%. The third AIDCA topic, with a pre-test score of 40% to 80.4%, increased by 39.5%, and the fourth topic, on the characteristics of creative people, increased by 25% to 75%, from 49%. Participants were able to create marketing content for Bu Mat's stall's UP2K products. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Program Sahabat Bumi dilaksanakan di SD ‘Aisyiyah 1 Mataram sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran lingkungan pada siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk membentuk budaya ramah lingkungan melalui tiga fokus utama, yaitu program pemilahan sampah, bank sampah, dan kegiatan daur ulang kreatif. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi awal, sosialisasi, pelatihan praktik, pendampingan, serta evaluasi berbasis partisipasi aktif guru dan siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan terhadap perilaku siswa dalam pengelolaan sampah; sebelum pelaksanaan program hanya 23% siswa yang mampu memilah sampah dengan benar, meningkat menjadi 82% setelah program berjalan. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga menumbuhkan tanggung jawab sosial, kemandirian, dan kreativitas siswa dalam memanfaatkan barang bekas menjadi produk bernilai guna. Secara keseluruhan, Sahabat Bumi menjadi model edukasi lingkungan yang efektif untuk diterapkan di sekolah dasar dalam rangka membentuk karakter peduli lingkungan dan mendukung tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan (SDGs).Kata kunci: Sahabat Bumi; Sekolah Ramah Lingkungan; Pemilahan Sampah; Bank Sampah; Daur Ulang. ABSTRACTThe Sahabat Bumi (Friends of the Earth) program was implemented at SD ‘Aisyiyah 1 Mataram as a community service initiative aimed at fostering environmental awareness among elementary school students. This program was designed to create an environmentally friendly school culture through three main activities: waste sorting, a school waste bank, and creative recycling projects. The implementation methods included preliminary observation, socialization, hands-on training, mentoring, and participatory evaluation involving both teachers and students. The results indicated a significant improvement in students’ waste management behavior from only 23% who correctly sorted waste before the program to 82% after implementation. Furthermore, the activities developed students’ sense of responsibility, independence, and creativity in reusing materials into functional products. Overall, Sahabat Bumi serves as an effective environmental education model for elementary schools to promote environmental awareness, responsible behavior, and support for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Keywords: Sahabat Bumi; Green School; Waste Sorting; Waste Bank; Recycling.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Rendahnya kepatuhan masyarakat dalam membayar Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor (PKB) di Kota Parepare menjadi permasalahan serius yang menghambat optimalisasi pendapatan daerah. Hingga Oktober 2025, realisasi PKB baru mencapai Rp62,1 miliar dari target Rp73 miliar. Berbagai studi yang mengkaji tingkat kepatuhan masyarakat membayar pajak kendaraan bermotor di Kota Parepare dan hasil evaluasi semester pertama 2025 yang dilaksanakan Bapenda Kota Parepare, menyimpulkan bahwa permasalahan ini tidak hanya disebabkan faktor ekonomi dan administratif, tetapi juga faktor sosial-budaya seperti rendahnya kesadaran pajak, minimnya literasi fiskal, dan belum optimalnya pemanfaatan komunitas sebagai agen perubahan perilaku. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kepatuhan masyarakat melalui pendekatan berbasis komunitas dengan mengintegrasikan perspektif sosiologis. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi awal melalui Focus Group Discussion (FGD), penyuluhan terpadu yang dihadiri 25 peserta dari berbagai elemen masyarakat, serta pembentukan "Komunitas Taat Pajak" yang terdiri dari Karang Taruna, komunitas ojek online, dan perwakilan wajib pajak. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif selama kegiatan, analisis diskusi dan testimoni peserta, serta dokumentasi komitmen kolektif yang tertuang dalam Piagam Komitmen dan MoU dengan Samsat Parepare. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan perubahan paradigma masyarakat terhadap pajak dari beban administratif menjadi investasi sosial, terciptanya komitmen kolektif melalui penandatanganan Piagam Komitmen dan MoU dengan Samsat Parepare, serta terbentuknya jejaring sosial yang berpotensi menjadi penggerak kepatuhan berkelanjutan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa pendekatan berbasis komunitas efektif membangun kesadaran fiskal dan modal sosial yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan pajak di tingkat lokal.Kata kunci: Kepatuhan Pajak; Komunitas; Pemberdayaan Masyarakat; Pajak Kendaraan Bermotor; Kota Parepare.                                                                                                          ABSTRACTThe low compliance of the community in paying Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) in Parepare City has become a serious problem that hinders the optimization of regional revenue. Until October 2025, PKB realization only reached Rp62.1 billion out of a target of Rp73 billion. Various studies examining the level of community compliance in paying motor vehicle tax in Parepare City and the results of the first semester 2025 evaluation conducted by Bapenda (local term for Regional Revenue Agency) Kota Parepare concluded that this problem is not only caused by economic and administrative factors, but also socio-cultural factors such as low tax awareness, minimal fiscal literacy, and suboptimal utilization of communities as agents of behavioral change. This community service program aims to increase public compliance through a community-based approach by integrating sociological perspectives. Implementation methods include initial socialization through Focus Group Discussions (FGD), integrated counseling attended by 25 participants from various community elements, and the establishment of a "Tax-Compliant Community" consisting of Karang Taruna, online motorcycle taxi communities, and taxpayer representatives. Evaluation was conducted through participatory observation during activities, analysis of participant discussions and testimonies, as well as documentation of collective commitment outlined in the Commitment Charter and MoU with Samsat Parepare. The results of the activity show a paradigm shift in the community's perception of taxes from administrative burden to social investment, the creation of collective commitment through the signing of the Commitment Charter and MoU with Samsat Parepare, as well as the formation of social networks that have the potential to become drivers of sustainable compliance. This program demonstrates that a community-based approach is effective in building fiscal awareness and social capital necessary to increase tax compliance at the local level.Keywords: Tax Compliance; Community; Community Empowerment; Motor Vehicle Tax; Parepare City.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Transformasi digital di pedesaan menghadirkan tantangan dalam menjaga moderasi beragama, pelestarian kearifan lokal, dan pemberdayaan ekonomi masyarakat. Desa Teluk Sialang menghadapi rendahnya literasi digital, minimnya pemahaman moderasi beragama di kalangan pelajar, serta keterbatasan akses pasar bagi pelaku UMKM. Program Kuliah Kerja Nyata (Kukerta) lintas prodi hadir sebagai solusi dengan mengintegrasikan tiga pilar utama, yakni penguatan moderasi beragama, pemberdayaan berbasis kearifan lokal, dan pemanfaatan digitalisasi dalam satu model pengabdian yang komprehensif dan terstruktur. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan literasi digital masyarakat, mengembangkan ekonomi syariah berbasis konteks digital, dan memperkuat harmoni sosial melalui moderasi beragama. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi kelas toleransi interaktif di MTs Sa'adatuddaraini, pembuatan podcast di SD 035 Teluk Sialang, pelatihan promosi digital melalui media sosial dan Google Maps, edukasi kesadaran hukum dan hak warga desa, penyuluhan keharmonisan keluarga dan literasi digital, serta pendampingan sertifikasi halal secara door to door pada 25 UMKM. Hasil program menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada seluruh aspek, meliputi pemahaman moderasi beragama siswa dari 0% menjadi 100%, peningkatan literasi digital dan kesadaran hukum warga mencapai 100%, pemahaman keharmonisan keluarga dan literasi digital mencapai 100%, serta keberhasilan pengurusan NIB dan sertifikasi halal bagi pelaku UMKM yang didampingi. Program Kukerta ini membuktikan bahwa model pengabdian kolaboratif lintas prodi terbukti mampu menciptakan solusi holistik bagi permasalahan desa, memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam membangun masyarakat Desa Teluk Sialang yang lebih inklusif, berdaya, dan harmonis. Kata kunci: Moderasi Beragama; Kearifan Lokal; Digitalisasi Desa; Ekonomi Syariah; Kolaborasi Lintas Prodi ABSTRACTDigital transformation in rural areas presents challenges in maintaining religious moderation, preserving local wisdom, and empowering the community's economy. Teluk Sialang Village faces low digital literacy, minimal understanding of religious moderation among students, and limited market access for MSME actors. The cross-study Community Service (Kukerta) program emerges as a solution by integrating three main pillars: strengthening religious moderation, empowerment based on local wisdom, and digitalization utilization in a comprehensive and structured community service model. The aim of this service is to enhance community digital literacy, develop sharia-based economies within a digital context, and strengthen social harmony through religious moderation. Implementation methods include interactive tolerance classes at MTs Sa'adatuddaraini, podcast production at SD 035 Teluk Sialang, digital promotion training via social media and Google Maps, education on legal awareness and village residents' rights, counseling on family harmony and digital literacy, as well as door-to-door halal certification assistance for 25 MSMEs. The program results show significant improvements across all aspects, including students' understanding of religious moderation increased from 0% to 100%, residents' digital literacy and legal awareness reached 100%, family harmony understanding and digital literacy reached 100%, and successful processing of business registration numbers (NIB) and halal certifications for accompanied MSMEs. This Kukerta program demonstrates that a collaborative cross-study community service model effectively creates holistic solutions for village problems, providing tangible contributions in building a more inclusive, empowered, and harmonious Teluk Sialang Village community. Keywords: Religious Moderation; Llocal Wisdom; Digitalization

ABSTRAK                                                                            Koperasi, terutama di daerah pedesaan, adalah salah satu penggerak ekonomi kerakyatan yang sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Namun, karena kurangnya digitalisasi dan literasi teknologi, banyak koperasi masih menghadapi masalah dalam tata kelola organisasi. Salah satu contohnya adalah Koperasi Merah Putih di Desa Bantengputih, Kabupaten Lamongan. Tujuan dari pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas manajemen koperasi melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan implementasi sistem manajemen berbasis web yang sesuai dengan prinsip Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), dan arah pembangunan nasional melalui Asta Cita. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam lima langkah yaitu analisis kebutuhan, persiapan, pelatihan dan transfer teknologi, pengembangan dan implementasi sistem informasi berbasis web, dan pendampingan dan pengawasan evaluasi. Selain itu, program pengabdian masyarakat membantu mencapai SDGs (tujuan 9, dan 16) dan memperkuat tata kelola koperasi yang berbasis akuntabilitas dan transparansi, seperti yang digariskan dalam Asta Cita pemerintah. Secara keseluruhan, upaya ini berhasil mendorong transformasi digital koperasi menuju sistem tata kelola yang kontemporer, inklusif, dan berkelanjutan. Disarankan untuk mempertahankan program melalui pelatihan lanjutan, pembentukan kelompok pengelola sistem digital, dan kolaborasi dengan ekosistem digital desa. Kata kunci: Koperasi Merah Putih; Desa Bantengputih; Asta Cita; Sustainable Development Goals; Good Corporate Governance ABSTRACTCooperatives, especially in rural areas, are a crucial driver of the people's economy and crucial for improving community welfare. However, due to a lack of digitalization and technological literacy, many cooperatives still face challenges in organizational governance. One example is the Merah Putih Cooperative in Bantengputih Village, Lamongan Regency. The purpose of this community service program was to improve cooperative management capacity through training and mentoring in implementing a web-based management system that aligns with the principles of Responsible Corporate Governance (GCG), Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the direction of national development through Asta Cita. The program was implemented in five steps: needs analysis, preparation, training and technology transfer, development and implementation of a web-based information system, and mentoring and monitoring evaluation. Furthermore, the community service program helped achieve the SDGs (Goals 9 and 16) and strengthened cooperative governance based on accountability and transparency, as outlined in the government's Asta Cita. Overall, this effort successfully drove the digital transformation of cooperatives toward a contemporary, inclusive, and sustainable governance system. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                            Pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berfokus kepada peningkatan kemampuan guru TK Nidzamiyah dalam menggunakan media digital untuk pembelajaran bahasa Inggris melalui metode storytelling. Pendekatan ini diterapkan untuk memperkuat kualitas pembelajaran yang interaktif dan sesuai dengan karakteristik anak usia dini. Metode penelitian menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan refleksi kolaboratif bersama empat guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para guru berhasil mengintegrasikan media digital dengan teknik bercerita secara efektif, sehingga menciptakan suasana belajar yang menarik dan komunikatif. Anak cenderung aktif dalam merespon alur cerita, gambar, maupun instruksi sederhana selama kegiatan berlangsung. Meskipun demikian, kemampuan guru dalam memberikan stimulus verbal berbahasa Inggris serta kualitas interaksi dua arah masih perlu ditingkatkan agar respons anak semakin optimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media digital berbasis storytelling memiliki potensi besar untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar bahasa Inggris, dengan catatan perlu ada penguatan lanjutan pada aspek interaksi guru–anak.Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Melalui Pelayanan Masyarakat, Cerita Digital, Pengajaran Bahasa Inggris untuk usia dini. ABSTRACTThis community service research focuses on improving the ability of TK Nidzamiyah teachers to use digital media for English language learning through the storytelling method. This approach is applied to strengthen the quality of interactive learning that is appropriate for early childhood characteristics. The research method uses observation, documentation, and collaborative reflection with four teachers. The results showed that the teachers successfully integrated digital media with storytelling techniques effectively, creating an engaging and communicative learning environment. Children tended to actively respond to the storyline, images, and simple instructions during the activities. However, the teachers' ability to provide verbal stimuli in English and the quality of two-way interaction still need to be improved to optimise children's responses. This study concludes that the use of storytelling-based digital media has great potential to enrich the English learning experience, provided that there is further strengthening of the teacher-child interaction aspect.Keywords: Community Service Learning, Digital Storytelling, Teaching English for Young Learners.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas nelayan tradisional di Kabupaten Lombok Utara melalui modernisasi teknologi penangkapan ikan dan penguatan kelembagaan kelompok. Mitra terdiri atas 143 nelayan dari lima kecamatan pesisir yang menghadapi keterbatasan penggunaan GPS dan fish finder, lemahnya manajemen organisasi, serta rendahnya akses pelatihan. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup tiga tahap, yaitu pra pelaksanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan pada tanggal 30 Oktober 2025 dan difokuskan pada demonstrasi penggunaan teknologi navigasi serta pendampingan penyusunan struktur kelembagaan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman peserta terkait penggunaan GPS dan fish finder, serta terbentuknya kesadaran baru mengenai pentingnya tata kelola kelompok yang akuntabel. Evaluasi selama tiga hari setelah kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar peserta merasa pelatihan relevan dan aplikatif. Program ini memberikan dasar kuat bagi pemberdayaan nelayan secara berkelanjutan dan dapat direplikasi pada wilayah pesisir lain dengan karakteristik serupa. Kata kunci: Nelayan Tradisional, Teknologi Penangkapan Ikan, Kelembagaan, Pemberdayaan, Lombok Utara. ABSTRACTThis community engagement program aims to enhance the capacities of traditional fishers in North Lombok Regency through the modernization of fishing technology and the strengthening of group institutional management. The partners consisted of 143 fishers from five coastal districts who faced limited use of GPS and fish finders, weak organizational management, and minimal access to training. The implementation consisted of three stages: pre-implementation, implementation, and evaluation. The main training was conducted on 30 October 2025, focusing on hands-on demonstrations of navigation technology and guidance on organizational structuring. The results indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of GPS and fish finder operations, accompanied by increased awareness of accountable group governance. A three-day evaluation showed that most participants found the training relevant and applicable. This program provides a strong foundation for sustainable fisher empowerment and offers a replicable model for other coastal communities with similar characteristics. Keywords: Traditional Fishers, Fishing Technology, Institutional Strengthening, Empowerment, North Lombok.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Kegiatan belajar di lapangan di universitas sering kali tidak disertai dengan proses refleksi bersama serta penggunaan dokumentasi digital yang teratur, sehingga potensi pengembangan literasi sosial mahasiswa tidak optimal. Penelitian pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model refleksi kolektif dan dokumentasi digital dalam meningkatkan kecakapan sosial mahasiswa selama pelaksanaan Kuliah Kerja Lapangan (KKL) di Semarang. Metode pelaksanaan menerapkan pendekatan experiential learning yang mencakup observasi langsung di Kota Semarang dokumentasi visual berupa foto, video, dan catatan lapangan; serta sesi refleksi kolektif dan penerbitan digital. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa penggabungan refleksi bersama dan dokumentasi digital dapat meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa mengenai dinamika sosial, budaya, manajerial, dan keagamaan di tempat KKL. Mahasiswa juga memperlihatkan perkembangan dalam kemampuan berpikir kritis, analisis sosial, dan literasi digital melalui pembuatan video refleksi dan materi publikasi. Secara keseluruhan, model ini berhasil mengubah pengalaman lapangan menjadi pengetahuan sosial yang relevan. Rekomendasi utama penelitian ini adalah pentingnya institusionalisasi sesi refleksi kolektif yang terstruktur dan penerbitan digital sebagai komponen wajib dalam kurikulum KKL untuk meningkatkan proses pembelajaran mahasiswa Kata kunci: dokumentasi digital, pembelajaran eksperiental, kuliah kerja lapang, literasi sosial, refleksi kolektif ABSTRACTField-based education in higher learning frequently lacks comprehensive collective reflection or organized digital records, leading to inadequate growth of students’ social literacy. This study on community engagement seeks to create and assess a collective reflection and digital documentation model to improve students’ social literacy during a fieldwork program in Semarang. The methodology utilized an experiential learning strategy that included field observations at Semarang City; visual documentation through images, videos, and field notes; and subsequently collective reflection sessions alongside digital publication activities. The findings show that combining group reflection with digital documentation greatly enhances students’ comprehension of social, cultural, managerial, and religious dynamics experienced during fieldwork. Students showed enhanced critical thinking, social analysis, and digital literacy skills, particularly noticeable in their reflective videos and online publications. The research indicates that this model successfully converts field experiences into significant social understanding. Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                                                     Peningkatan jumlah penduduk lanjut usia (lansia) di Indonesia menimbulkan tantangan serius dalam bidang kesehatan masyarakat, salah satunya adalah kondisi frailty atau kerapuhan. Rumah Senja di Lombok Timur, yang menaungi lebih dari 100 lansia, belum memiliki sistem skrining rutin, dan kader pendamping belum mampu mngidentifikasi frailty secara mandiri. Program pengabdian masyarakat berbasis penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kapasitas kader dalam mengidentifikasi frailty menggunakan instrumen fungsional sederhana. Metode pengabdian yang dilakukan adalah community-based research (CBR) dengan tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan pendampingan, lalu monitoring dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilakukan selama empat minggu, yang diikuti oleh 10 orang kader dan dihadiri oleh 49 lansia. Hasil pemeriksaan dengan pendampingan menunjukkan bahwa 28 lansia (57,1%) berada pada kategori frail, 16 lansia (32,7%) dalam kategori pre-frail, dan hanya 5 lansia (10,2%) tergolong robust. Pemahaman kader tentang frailty meningkat dari rata-rata 85 menjadi 87 poin, serta persepsi terhadap pencegahan melalui olahraga, nutrisi, dan dukungan sosial naik dari 85,7% menjadi 90,9%. Sebanyak 81,8% kader merekomendasikan skrining bulanan, sedangkan 18,2% menyarankan minimal dua kali setahun. Temuan ini menunjukkan prevalensi frailty di Rumah Senja cukup tinggi. Pelatihan kader dengan instrumen sederhana terbukti efektif meningkatkan kapasitas deteksi dini. Model skrining frailty berbasis komunitas ini memiliki potensi besar untuk dijadikan contoh di wilayah lain sebagai bagian dari strategi nasional mendukung penuaan sehat di Indonesia.Kata kunci: Frailty; Identifikasi; Instrumen Fungsional; Kader Kesehatan; Lanjut Usia. ABSTRACTThe increasing number of elderly people in Indonesia poses serious challenges in public health, one of which is the condition of frailty. Rumah Senja in East Lombok had more than 100 elderly individuals, currently lacks a regular screening system, and its field cadres are unable to independently identify frailty. This research-based community service project aims to enhance the capacity of cadres in identifying frailty using simple functional assessment tools. The method applied is community-based research (CBR) through stages of preparation, implementation of fascilitation, and monitoring and evaluation. The activities were conducted over four weeks, involving 10 cadres and 49 elderly participants. Screening results with guidance showed that 28 elderly (57.1%) were classified as frail, 16 (32.7%) as pre-frail, and only 5 (10.2%) as robust. Cadres’ understanding of frailty improved from an average of 85 to 87 points, and their perception of prevention through exercise, nutrition, and social support increased from 85.7% to 90.9%. A total of 81.8% of cadres recommended monthly screenings, while 18.2% suggested at least twice a year. These findings indicate a high prevalence of frailty at Rumah Senja. This community-based frailty screening model has significant potential to be replicated in other regions as part of a national strategy to support healthy aging in Indonesia. Keywords: Frailty; Identification; Functional Instrument; Health’s Cadres; Elderly.
