Abstract

Islamic boarding schools are traditional educational institutions that prioritize a religion-based curriculum. The Darul Hikmah Orphans Islamic Boarding School, located in Cot Yang Village, Kuta Barou District, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province, faces the challenge of low levels of entrepreneurial skills in the field of welding and atomizing painting due to the absence of this material in their curriculum. To overcome this, atomizing welding and painting training was carried out at Islamic boarding schools, which aimed to improve students' hard skills in this field. This training is also planned to develop business units, including the establishment of atomizing welding and painting workshops. This atomizing welding and painting entrepreneurship training program is measured by several parameters, with the output being the basic welding technical skills obtained by the students. It is hoped that this program will produce entrepreneurs in atomizing welding and painting workshops that will benefit the environment of the Darul Hikmah Cot Yang Orphan Islamic Boarding School. The training implementation stages include welding and painting theory, occupational health and safety (K3), as well as practice and assistance in basic welding and painting, with the final product being a table. The training material was adopted from teaching welding and painting practices at Syiah Kuala Darussalam University-Aceh. The result of this training is an increase in participants' knowledge in welding and painting, as well as their ability to apply these processes by prioritizing K3 (Occupational Safety and Health).

Abstract

The type of material, mixture composition, and production process are among the factors that influence the strength of interlock bricks. In this study, interlocking bricks are used for the construction of residential wall structures. The interlocking brick mixture consists of cement, fly ash, sand, and water. The fly ash and sand used have a maximum diameter of 4.75 mm and are not subjected to calcination. Interlocking bricks measuring 30 cm x 20 cm x 10 cm are molded using a manual hydraulic press and cured for up to 28 days before being cut into test specimens measuring 5 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm. A total of 150 test specimens from 5 mix designs using water-cement ratios (WCR) of 0.3, 0.4, and 0.5 were utilized in this study. The objective of this research is to determine the quality levels of interlocking bricks based on compressive strength tests at 28 days of age. The quality levels are determined according to the Indonesian National Standard, SNI 03-0349-1989. Based on the compressive strength results, it was found that the average interlocking bricks with fly ash mixture achieved class III quality, indicating that they can only be used for non-structural wall applications.

Abstract

-This community service program aims to improve quantitative research competency of Management students through Partial Least Squares (PLS) training in writing theses. Using the PAR-ADDIE blended learning model, this program involved 120 participants with a real case study of PT. Ritel Indonesia Jaya. The results showed a significant increase: the post-test score increased by 35.8 points (from 42.5 to 78.3) with knowledge retention of 71.4% after 3 months. The implementation of PLS in 30 theses resulted in a convergent validity (AVE>0.6) of 92% and a composite reliability of 0.85. The economic impact is reflected in the ROI of 214%, which was obtained through: 18% increase in customer retention rate of industry partners (+Rp8.2 billion/year), Research cost savings of Rp1.3 billion, and Operational efficiency of Rp950 million. The formation of a community of practitioners (153 active members) and 28 new case studies in 4 months indicate an undesirable program. Key challenges include the adaptation of SmartPLS 4.2 technology and the need for hybrid data integration. The program demonstrates the effectiveness of triple helix collaboration in bridging academia-industry, while providing a replicable model for data-driven methodological capacity development in higher education

Abstract

The Tomb of Sultanah Nahrasiyah in North Aceh stands as a testament to the historical prominence of Aceh. This study aims to examine and analyze the inscriptions engraved on the tombstones of Sultanah Nahrasiyah. The methodology consists of meticulous observation and documentation, followed by an in-depth analysis of the tombstone inscriptions. The initial stage involves a historical review of Sultanah Nahrasiyah's leadership. Subsequently, the study emphasizes the participation of female students in the examination and analysis of the inscriptions within the tomb complex. The Arabic inscriptions are analyzed with reference to the Quran, supported by insights from a historical guide who serves as the tomb's custodian. The findings suggest that understanding the historical significance of Sultanah Nahrasiyah's tomb is instrumental in fostering historical awareness and serves as a foundation for applying historical principles to contemporary contexts. This initiative is expected to deepen academic understanding of Sultanah Nahrasiyah's legacy.
