Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the microteaching course on the mental health of sixth-semester students in the English Education program at University of Riau Kepulauan. Microteaching is a required course for future teachers to prepare them to teach using simulation methods on a small scale before students engage in teaching practice in real classroom settings. The study used a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Thirty sixth-semester students who have completed the microteaching course participated in this study. Data were collected through the Behavioral Health Measure (BHM) questionnaire, which measures three indicators, such as well-being, psychological symptoms, and life functioning. The results of the study showed that the students' mental health was in the good category, with an average score of 71,17%. 33,3% of students had excellent mental health, and only 3,4% experienced moderate stress. The psychological symptoms indicators showed the highest score (2,88), followed by well-being (2,83) and life functioning (2,75). These findings indicate that the microteaching course does not have a significant negative impact on students' mental health. Students were able to manage the anxiety and pressure that arose during the learning process well. This study also highlights the importance of ongoing psychological monitoring and institutional support throughout performance-based academic learning processes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Keterampilan kerja, Penilaian kerja, Fasilitas dan Pengembangan karir Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan PT. Cahaya Marine Indonesia di Batam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT. Cahaya Marine Indonesia di Batam sebanyak 210 orang. Sampel berjumlah 138 responden. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus Slovin. Data diperoleh dengan menggunanakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan alat uji SPSS versi 30. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Keterampilan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, Penilaian kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, Fasilitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan, dan pengembangan karir berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Keterampilan kerja, penilaian kerja, fasilitas dan pengembangan karir secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT. Cahaya Marine Indonesia di Batam.

Abstract

Di Indonesia, manajemen peningkatan kompetensi guru telah menjadi isu kontemporer setiap kali terjadi reformasi kurikulum nasional karena pelaksanaan program pelatihan belum diselenggarakan secara konsisten, terutama di wilayah hinterland. Oleh karena itu, peningkatan kompetensi guru harus dilakukan secara adil dan berkelanjutan melalui manajemen pelatihan yang efektif dan efisien. Studi ini mengkaji isu-isu terkini dalam manajemen pelatihan guru di wilayah hinterland. Penelitian ini penting dilakukan untuk mendapatkan informasi akurat yang dapat digunakan sebagai masukan positif bagi pemerintah dalam merumuskan kebijakan baru. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain analisis data triangulasi secara komprehensif dengan menerapkan Teknik penguumpulan data melalui survei online, wawancara mendalam kepada 3.140 guru, dan observasi lapangan melalui kegiatan supervisi akademik di sekolah yang berlokasi di wilayah hinterland Provinsi Kepulauan Riau, Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Manajemen peningkatakn kompetensi guru dilakukan melalui pelatihan dengan menerapkan fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, pengawasan, dan evaluasi. (2) Fungsi manajemen pelatihan guru tersebut belum berjalan secara efektif dan efisien. (3) Permasalahan utama dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan guru terdapat pada fungsi pelaksanaan yang belum merata, tuntas, adil, berkelanjutan, dan terintegrasi dengan kebutuhan guru dan peserta didik di wilayah hinterland. (4) Kompetensi guru masih rendah karena jarang mengikuti pelatihan disebabkan akses yang sulit dan kondisi lingkungan kerja yang belum mendukung. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi yang sangat penting bagi pemerintah, khususnya Kementerian Pendidikan, untuk menyusun kebijakan peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui pelatihan guru yang efektif, adil, berkelanjutan, dan terintegrasi dengan kondisi guru di seluruh Indonesia, khususnya di wilayah hinterland. Studi ini membuka jalan bagi arah penelitian selanjutnya untuk mengembangkan model manajemen pelatihan guru berdasarkan konteks wilayah hinterland atau wilayah tertinggal lainnya di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh transformasi digital dan manajemen perubahan terhadap daya saing Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM), dengan organizational agility sebagai variabel mediasi. Latar belakang studi ini berangkat dari fenomena bahwa meskipun digitalisasi dan adaptasi perubahan telah menjadi kebutuhan strategis bagi UKM di era disrupsi, implementasinya sering tidak optimal tanpa dukungan kelincahan organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksplanatori dengan teknik Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) pada 120 UKM yang telah menerapkan digitalisasi bisnis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa transformasi digital dan manajemen perubahan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap daya saing, baik secara langsung maupun melalui mediasi organizational agility. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa kemampuan UKM dalam merespons perubahan secara cepat dan adaptif merupakan elemen kunci dalam membangun keunggulan kompetitif yang berkelanjutan. Studi ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis dalam literatur manajemen strategis serta menawarkan implikasi praktis bagi pelaku UKM dan pembuat kebijakan dalam memperkuat kapabilitas adaptif di tengah lingkungan bisnis yang dinamis.

Abstract

Tingginya laju pertumbuhan penduduk Indonesia berdampak pada peningkatan angka pengangguran, kemiskinan, serta migrasi yang sulit untuk dikendalikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh upah dalam negeri, jumlah penduduk miskin, dan tingkat pengangguran terhadap jumlah Pekerja Migran Indonesia (PMI) pada periode 2019–2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Data yang dianalisis mencakup jumlah PMI, upah dalam negeri, jumlah penduduk miskin, dan tingkat pengangguran dari lima provinsi, yaitu Jawa Timur, Jawa Tengah, Jawa Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat, dan Lampung. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan regresi data panel dengan pendekatan fixed effect model, dan diuji melalui softwere E-Views 12. Hasil uji menunjukkan bahwa upah dalam negeri tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah PMI. Sedangkan jumlah penduduk miskin dan tingkat pengangguran memiliki pengaruh negatif yang signifikan terhadap jumlah PMI. Dilihat secara simultan dinyatakan bahwa ketiga variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap jumlah PMI selama tahun 2019–2023

Abstract

This study was conducted to measure the level of economic development in various regions, classify economic sectors, and identify leading sectors in the National Strategic Area covering Medan City, Binjai City, Deli Serdang Regency, and Karo Regency (KSN Mebidangro). This study used quantitative descriptive analysis techniques utilizing GRDP data from 2019 to 2023. The analysis was conducted using several approaches, namely Klassen Typology, LQ, and DLQ. The results of the Klassen Typology analysis show that the City of Medan is classified as an advanced and rapidly developing region, while the City of Binjai, Deli Serdang Regency, and Karo Regency are categorized as advanced regions but still face pressures. Meanwhile, the results of the Location Quotient and Dynamic Location Quotient indicate that each city/district in the Mebidangro KSN has varying base sectors, consistent with the economic characteristics of each region. These findings emphasize the urgency of developing focused and effective policies to drive sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi edupreneur mahasiswa dalam menumbuhkan literasi anak usia dini melalui program bimbingan belajar (bimbel) calistung di kavling kamboja kecamatan sagulung. Peningkatan minat literasi pada anak-anak dapat didorong melalui dukungan bimbingan belajar calistung di Kavling Kamboja, Kecamatan Sagulung. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kualitatif. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik analisa data yaitu: observasi, wawancara, dan pengumpulan dokumen. Dari hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam mengelola edupreneur bidang pendidikan melalui bimbel calistung memberikan dampak positif dalam menumbuhkan literasi anak usia dini di kavling kamboja kecamatan sagulung, serta pengembangan keterampilan edupreneur mahasiswa.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of teacher competence, work discipline, work motivation, and principal leadership on the performance of teachers at SMPN 20 Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Descriptive quantitative analysis technique. The sample used in this study was 15 respondents. Based on the data analysis, the results of the study indicated that teacher competence (X1) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers at SMPN 20 Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province, work discipline (X2) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers at SMPN 20 Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province, work motivation (X3) has a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers at SMPN 20 Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province, principal leadership (X4) does not have a positive and significant effect on the performance of teachers at SMPN 20 Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province. Teacher competence (X1), work discipline (X2), work motivation (X3), and principal leadership (X4) on teacher performance (Y) simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on teacher performance at SMPN 20 Kupang City, East Nusa Tenggara Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of risk-taking on SME performance with entrepreneurial orientation as a mediating variable. The population of this research consists of SME actors in Padang, with 60 respondents selected using purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and the Sobel test to examine the mediating effect. The results show that risk-taking has a positive influence on SME performance, while entrepreneurial orientation also contributes to performance improvement, although in a smaller proportion. Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation is proven to mediate the relationship between risk-taking and SME performance, indicating its significant role in strengthening the positive impact of risk-taking on business outcomes. These findings imply that developing entrepreneurial orientation among SMEs is essential to optimize risk-taking behavior as a strategy for enhancing competitiveness and achieving sustainable performance

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of shopping enjoyment and social influence on consumers' purchase intention. Shopping enjoyment, defined as the pleasure derived from the shopping experience, has been shown to positively affect consumers' impulse buying and purchase motivation. Social influence, which encompasses the opinions, behaviors, and expectations of others, plays a significant role in shaping consumer decisions, especially in the context of modern digital and social commerce platforms. Using a quantitative approach with survey data collected from online and offline shoppers, the research tests the direct effects of shopping enjoyment and social influence on purchase intention, as well as the mediating roles of impulse buying tendencies. The findings reveal that both shopping enjoyment and social influence have significant positive impacts on purchase intention, suggesting that marketers should emphasize creating enjoyable shopping experiences and leverage social proof to enhance consumer engagement. This study contributes to consumer behavior literature by integrating hedonic and social factors, providing practical insights for retail and e-commerce strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.
