Abstract

This research aims to obtain information about the effect of (1) learning facilities on chemistry learning outcomes of the student in tenth grade of light vehicle engineering skill program of SMK Bala Keselamatan Palu; (2) students creativity on chemistry learning outcomes at Tenth Grade of Light Vehicle Engineering skill Program  SMK Bala Keselamatan Palu; (3) learning facilities and students creativity on chemistry learning outcomes at Tenth Grade of light vehicle Engineering skill Program at SMK Bala Keselamatan Palu; The population in this research was all students at Tenth Grade of Light Vehicle Engineering Skill Program of SMK Bala Keselamatan Palu Academic Year 2016-2017 amounted to 91 students. The sampling technique was done by total sampling. Chemistry learning outcomes data were obtained from the average daily test results, learning facility data, and students' creativity using questionnaires. Data were analyzed by using regression and correlation analysis SPSS assisted. In testing, the first and second hypotheses used simple linear rejection analysis and the significance level of  = 0.05. The results showed that there are significant effects between (1) learning facilities on chemistry learning outcomes; (2) students' creativity on chemistry learning outcomes; (3) learning facilities and students' creativity on the chemistry learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase in activities and student learning outcomes in learning Natural Sciences in class V Kabuyu Inpres Elementary School through the application of the science process skills approach. The method used in this research is classroom action research which consists of 4 stages, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, with data collection techniques using evaluation tests, observation sheets, and field notes. Research subjects were 27 students. The results showed that using existing instructional devices showed an increase in student and teacher activities. Student learning activity shows the percentage score obtained on the first cycle is 70.05% in the category enough, in the second cycle showed an increase in the percentage score of 90.48% category very good, an increase of 20.43%. Teacher observation activities when applying the material in class I showed a percentage score of 78.33% in the good category, in the second cycle, the percentage score was 95.00% in the very good category, an increase of 16.67%. In the results of the analysis of evaluation tests, the first cycle students showed the percentage of classical completeness 53.70% for the percentage of classical absorption 71.06%, the second cycle showed an increase in the results of the evaluation test evaluation on the percentage of climax completeness obtained 90.74%, and the percentage of absorption laxative results showed 84.96%, KBK increased by 37.04% and DSK increased by 13.90%. Based on the acquisition of these results, it was concluded that the approach to science process skills can improve student learning activities and outcomes in the heat transfer material in class V of Kabuyu Inpres Elementary School in 2018-2019.

Abstract

The study of the effect of cooperative learning model two stay two stray types on motivation and learning outcomes of the fifth-grade students of SDN15 Palu was carried out from March to June 2018. This study used quasi-experimental methods. The research design used the Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and test results. The data analysis technique used the t-test inferential statistical method. The study population was fifth-grade students of SDN15 Palu. The sample of the research was Va class with as many as 29 people as the experimental group and Vb class with 28 people as the control group, which was determined by purposive sampling technique. The independent variable in this study was the TSTS model, while the dependent variable was a motivation and learning outcomes. Based on hypothesis testing with two-party t-test statistics obtained students learning motivation with t count was higher than t table (7.876 > 2.004). Student learning outcomes obtained tcount higher than t table (3.654 > 2.004). These results indicated that the application of cooperative learning model two stay two stray type influences the motivation and learning outcomes of the science of the fifth-grade students of SDN 15 Palu.

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes and independence through discovery learning in science subjects. Class action research methods. In the pre-action, there were 5 students (26.3%) who had fulfilled the KKM and there were 14 students (73.7%) who had not. In cycle I there were 10 students (52.7%) who fulfilled the KKM and 9 students (47.3%) who did not. Student independence was obtained by 12 students (63.16%) with sufficient criteria. and 7 students (36.84%) in less criteria. In cycle II there were 15 students (78.9%) who fulfilled the KKM and 4 students (21.1%) who had not, obtained student independence, namely there were 7 students (36.84%) with good criteria, there were 10 students (52.63 %) was sufficient, and there were 2 students (10.53%) lacking. The percentage of students who scored above the KKM in cycle I was 52.6% and cycle II was 78.9%, this shows that the discovery learning method was able to improve students' science learning outcomes.
