Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of optimal learning in the Electrical Power Installation subject by using a whiteboard as a learning medium. This research is a type of development research which aims to produce a product design in the form of a Borland Delphi 7 based expert system which will be used in the Electrical Power Installation subject. This learning media contains material on electrical power installations and an expert system for determining power needs, security and light points. This research was conducted in July 2021 at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The design for developing this learning media follows the ADDIE stages (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Validation of this expert system includes content validation and design validation. Based on the results of data analysis, it is known that the expert system developed in this research has very high validity values in the two aspects assessed. For material validity it is 3.61 and media validation is 3.6 so it can be concluded that this expert system can be declared suitable for use to support learning.

Abstract

Electronic fuel injection is a mechanism of fuel injection by electronic in to combustion chamber with Electronic Control Unit (ECU) for process control enter and burning air-fuel mixture. Fuel injection system is a development of natural suction system which next five years will no longer be produced. Natural suction system produces high emissions due to inhomogenous the air-fuel mixture. The natural suction system still widely used and its possible that in the next five years it will no longer be produced. The purposes of the study are manufacture and redesign injection intake manifold by sand casting with alumunium material as a replacement of natural suction fuel system with Arduino AT-Mega 2560 as a microcontroller with crankshaft posistion sensor, unit sensor (manifold absolute pressure, throttle position, intake air themperature) to produce eficient emissions. The study method of analysis data for making conclusion is quantitive experiments twoway anova with two independent variables are (1) intake manifold type and (2) fuel flow rate volume against emissions. The study results are manufacture of injection intake manifold by using the sand casting method with aluminium material is simple mehod for changes to the injection system againts emissions with value CO 14,27%, HC 212 ppm, CO2 12,133 % and O2 6,270 %, intake manifold type and fuel flow volume significant againts emissions. Abstract

Children are God's gift in marriage. Child development is the responsibility of parents. During the current development period, children will face increasingly modern times with increasingly sophisticated technology with the use of gadgets, this condition has an impact on changes in activities where they spend more time playing with gadgets. Regarding the use of gadgets by children, the role of parents is important to see this as the background and formulation of the problem created is "What is the role of parents' interpersonal communication in accompanying children to use gadgets?". This research aims to determine the role of parent-child communication in accompanying children to play gedget which contains positive and good things to do in Pasuruan, East Java. The method used is a qualitative descriptive method. The data obtained was analyzed qualitatively and presented in the form of detailed and systematic descriptions. The research results show that interpersonal communication plays an important role in harmonious family relationships. Through interpersonal communication, parents act as teachers and friends for children. This role is an effort to teach education to children through technological developments. the scheme of relationships within the family and the interactions that occur in the form of supervision and control of children. How does the communication relationship between parents and children influence the final results of the use of gadgets taught by parents to children.

Abstract

Penggunaan motor induksi listrik dengan kontaktor sebagai pengendalinya dapat menyebabkan arus motor melonjak saat pertama kali dihidupkan. Dalam perkembangan tekonologi , terdapat sebuah Inverter berjenis Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) berfungsi sebagai alat pengatur kecepatan agar mengurangi konsumsi energi listrik motor induksi dengan mengubah prinsip frekuensi inputnya, sehingga dapat memungkinkan Upaya penghematan konsumsi energi listrik. Penggunaan motor induksi yang fungsinya sebagai penggerak mesin sebagai salah satu contoh penggunaan motor listrik yang tidak efisien dan membutuhkan energi yang cukup besar. Penggunaan motor listrik digabungkan dengan kontaktor itulah penyebab adanya lonjakan yang tidak efisian dan memakan daya begitu besar. Namun, lonjakan ini dapat diminimalisir dengan mengubah teknik pengendalinya yang semula menggunakan kontaktor diganti menjadi Inverter VFD. Hasil dari pengujian antara kontaktor dan Inverter itu mendapatkan hasil pengehematan energi listrik. Semula menggunakan kontaktor itu biaya yang dikeluarkan bisa sampai Rp. 7.430.400 /bulan. Namun setelah diganti menjadi Inverter (VFD) penghematan energipun bisa didapatkan. Penghematan energi mencapai Rp. 3.611.250/bulan. Hasil tersebut dapat dijadikan sebuah solusi utama untuk mengurangi lonjakan energi dan pembengkakak biaya operasional pada industri.

Abstract

Penyebaran berita hoaks yang semakin marak memerlukan upaya edukasi dan sosialisasi untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat mengenai cara-cara efektif dalam menanggapi informasi yang tidak benar. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam tentang tanda-tanda berita hoaks dan langkah-langkah verifikasi informasi guna mencegah penyebaran informasi yang menyesatkan. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode presentasi diikuti dengan sesi tanya jawab, yang dirancang untuk menyampaikan informasi secara jelas dan interaktif. Materi yang disampaikan mencakup definisi berita hoaks, ciri-ciri, dampak negatif, serta teknik verifikasi informasi. Hasil dari kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam kewaspadaan dan ketelitian masyarakat Desa Citeluk dalam menanggapi dan menyebarkan informasi. Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa peserta lebih mampu mengidentifikasi berita hoaks dan lebih berhati-hati dalam memverifikasi kebenaran informasi yang diterima. Pengabdian ini berkontribusi pada pengembangan strategi edukasi masyarakat dalam menghadapi tantangan informasi di era digital.

Abstract

Background. Outseal PLC Training for PVTE Students at Sultan Ageng University Programmable Logic Controller is a device that can be programmed according to industrial process needs. Purpose. This activity is a service activity for PVTE Study Program lecturers at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University which is expected to be able to improve students' skills in terms of being equipped for the world of work. Method. This activity is a service activity for PVTE Study Program lecturers at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University which is expected to be able to improve students' skills in terms of being equipped for the world of work. This PLC Outseal Training activity is carried out face to face for 8 hours in the FKIP educational room at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This training method uses a practical based method. Results. The evaluation results show that students seem interested and do not experience problems when practicing PLC. Conclusion. This training has a significant impact on students' skills in industrial automation concentration courses.

Abstract

Era 4.0 is often referred to as the technological era. One application of technology in the industrial sector is the creation of a 4-arm robot. But in his case, 4-arm robots are rarely operated automatically. Therefore, a 4-arm robot simulation was designed using servo motors via Bluetooth. This research aims to design a 4-arm robot that is controlled using Bluetooth. The methodology used is the simulation method and literature study. The results of the simulation of a 4-arm robot controlled by Bluetooth can rotate at an angle of 45° and 90° and move automatically

Abstract

Penggunaan gadget di era revolusi industri 4.0 ini menjadi sebuah kebutuhan, akan tetapi yang tidak kita sadari adalah anak - anak yang belum mampu mempertimbangkan penggunaan gadget tersebut secara wajar sehingga penggunaan gadget menjadi overload yang bisa menimbulkan kecanduan atau Screen Dependency Dissorders yang dapat menimbulkan dampak buruk baik fisik, mental dan sosial. Tujuan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini untuk memberikan pemahaman dan peningkatan pengetahuan tentang penggunaan gadget yang benar melalui psikoedukasi dalam upaya pencegahan kecanduan gadget pada anak dan remaja di wilayah perkebunan. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab sesuai dengan prosedur operasional standar psikoedukasi, menggunakan media X-banner, leaflet dan banner. Media audio seperti microphone dan set pengeras suara ditambahkan dalam pelaksanaan pengabdian ini. Tahapan pengabdian ini ini dimulai dari tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap evaluasi. Tahap persiapan dimulai dengan survey lokasi setelah mendapatkan surat permintaan dari mitra dalam hal ini Desa Wonokitri Kecamatan Tosari Kabupaten Pasuruan. Tahap Pelaksanaan yaitu dengan melakukan psikoedukasi kepada keluarga dan dilanjutkan tahap evaluasi dengan memberikan beberapa pertanyaan terkait materi edukasi yang telah diberikan. Hasil pelaksanaan psikoedukasi menggambarkan masyarakat di wilayah perkebunan memahami pentingnya mengelola penggunaan gadget bagi anak dan remaja supaya tidak terjadi adiksi pada penggunaannya.

Abstract

Remaja adalah fase peralihan dari masa anak menuju dewasa di mana konteks perubahan pertumbuhan dan perkembangan sangat terlihat. Remaja dianggap sebagai masa "Storm and Stress" karena mereka dituntut untuk menyesuaikan diri dengan kehidupan dewasa. Remaja mungkin mengalami stres karena banyaknya perselisihan yang ada di lingkungan mereka, seperti keluarga dan teman sebaya. Studi ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi efektivitas teknik self massage dalam mengurangi tingkat stres pada remaja. Tujuan self massage untuk mengurangi stres, dimana penerapan terapi self massage dapat membantu individu untuk menghentikan pikiran yang mengganggu atau mengancam. Latihan rutin dapat membantu mengurangi stres dan kecemasan sehari-hari, meningkatkan kualitas tidur, meningkatkan energi dan suasana hati, serta meningkatkan kesehatan dan kesejahteraan secara keseluruhan. Metode Pengabdian Masyarakat kali ini adalah dengan melakukan penerapan self massage selama 5 menit untuk menurunkan stress. Metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah ceramah, diskusi dan tanya jawab sesuai dengan prosedur operasional standar psikoedukasi, menggunakan media X-banner dan brosur. Selama kegiatan para peserta antusias mendengarkan penjelasan dari pemateri dan setelah mendengarkan penyuluhan serta berlatih cara untuk mengurangi stress dengan teknik self message, para peserta bisa mempraktekan cara menurunkan stress dan lebih tenang dan menghadapi kehidupan di masa tumbuh kembangnya yaitu sebagai remaja.

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which can attack all organs, especially the lungs. Tuberculosis remains the world's deadliest infectious disease, with more than 9 million infections and 1.7 million deaths per year. If not treated or managed correctly, this disease can lead to serious consequences and even death. The purpose of this literature review is to obtain an overview of the relationship between drug-taking supervisors (PMO) and the level of adherence to treatment visits in pulmonary TB patients from various perspectives and various similar studies. The research method used in this study is a literature review, which includes an analysis of 8 articles obtained from three databases: ProQuest, Science Direct, and Google Scholar. The search keywords used for article retrieval included "drug-taking supervisors or drug swallowing supervisor or PMO," "Tuberculosis or TB or TBC," and "drug adherence," using "AND" and "OR" as Boolean operators. Treatment monitoring is the main focus in supporting the success of pulmonary TB patients in the recovery period. Based on the findings of a review of 8 literature journals, there was an increase in recovery when supervisors took medication because the risk of forgetting during treatment visits was reduced, and the fear of PMO was reduced, causing pulmonary TB patients/patients to more regularly visit the nearest health facility that has been approved for treatment provided. Therefore, the drug-taking supervisor (PMO) on adherence to treatment visits is very important in breaking the cycle of pulmonary TB in the community.
