Abstract

Consuming fish food is an important part of the process of growing and maintaining fish. In general, fish food is given by conventionally throwing it by hand. However, this is not done at the same time every day. Based on the problems above, the researchers made a prototype of an Arduino-based automatic fish feeding device. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the automatic fish feeder prototype. In the prototype that the researchers made using several main components such as Arduino Uno as the system or brain of this prototype, servo motor, 20 x 4 LCD, buttons, Real Time Clock (RTC), and several jumper cables. The effectiveness of this tool can be seen from the test results, where the automatic fish feeder prototype succeeded in providing fish food according to a predetermined schedule.

Abstract

Minyak transformator berfungsi sebagai media pendingin dan isolasi yang rentan mengalami degradasi akibat tekanan termal dan elektrik selama operasi, sehingga pemantauan kondisinya menjadi penting untuk menjaga keandalan transformator. Degradasi tersebut dapat dideteksi melalui analisis gas terlarut Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kondisi minyak Generator Transformer (GT) 1 di PT PLN Indonesia Power UBP Banten 3 Lontar menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif berbasis data DGA dari 10 periode pengujian selama 25 Januari 2024 hingga 2 Juni 2025. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan metode Total Dissolved Combustible Gas (TDCG) mengacu pada standar IEEE C57.104-2008. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai TDCG berada pada kisaran 9–435 ppm dengan rata-rata 196 ppm sehingga termasuk dalam Kondisi 1 (<720 ppm) yang mengindikasikan transformator masih beroperasi normal. Namun demikian, terdeteksi tren peningkatan gas karbon monoksida (CO) dan etilena (C₂H₄) yang menunjukkan potensi awal pemanasan lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemanfaatan metode TDCG sebagai dasar pemantauan kondisi dan deteksi dini gangguan pada transformator sehingga dapat mendukung upaya pemeliharaan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Ketenagalistrikan di SMK Negeri 1 Ciruas karena kurang bervariasinya media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan efektivitas media pembelajaran Canva terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Ketenagalistrikan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian jenis kuantitatif dengan metode quaisi eksperimen. Sampel penelitian adalah 58 siswa kelas X TITL yang dibagi menjadi kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media Canva dan kelas kontrol menggunakan media pembelajaran PPT. Hasil uji hipotesis menggunakan Welch’s t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar <0,001 yaitu <0,05 dan t hitung sebesar 8,619, yang menandakan adanya perbedaan hasil belajar yang signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Hasil uji Paired Sample T-Test pada kelas eksperimen juga menunjukkan nilai signifikansi <0,001.Sementara itu, berdasarkan analisis N-Gain Score, rata-rata peningkatan hasil belajar kelas eksperimen adalah sebesar 0,39 yang tergolong dalam kategori sedang, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol yang hanya memperoleh 0,17 dalam kategori rendah. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis Canva berpengaruh signifikan dan lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada mata pelajaran Dasar-Dasar Teknik Ketenagalistrikan di SMK Negeri 1 Ciruas.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of Kahoot learning media on the cognitive learning outcomes of Class X students in Telecommunication Systems subject at SMK Telkom School Jakarta, considering their level of learning independence. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, the research found that the cognitive learning outcomes of students who used Kahoot media (average 77.33) were significantly higher than those using PowerPoint media (average 62.59). Furthermore, students with a high level of learning independence (average 77.33) achieved significantly higher cognitive learning outcomes than those with a low level (average 69.85). A significant interaction was also observed between the type of learning media (Kahoot and PowerPoint) and students' learning independence level concerning their cognitive learning outcomes. These findings lead to the conclusion that Kahoot learning media is effective in improving students' cognitive learning outcomes and learning independence.

Abstract

Era 4.0 is often referred to as the technological era. One application of technology in the industrial sector is the creation of a 4-arm robot. But in his case, 4-arm robots are rarely operated automatically. Therefore, a 4-arm robot simulation was designed using servo motors via Bluetooth. This research aims to design a 4-arm robot that is controlled using Bluetooth. The methodology used is the simulation method and literature study. Abstract

Generators are important components in power generation systems and require protection systems to safeguard equipment from internal faults. One of the protection systems applied to Units 5–7 generators at PT Indonesia Power PGU Suralaya is the differential relay as the main protection system. This study aims to evaluate the setting parameters of the differential relay used in the generator protection system of Units 5–7 at PT Indonesia Power PGU Suralaya. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data were collected during an industrial internship through observation, documentation, interviews, and literature review. The analyzed data included commissioning records, Current Transformer (CT) ratios, and differential relay setting parameters. The results indicate that the differential relay settings at Units 5, 6, and 7 have not changed from the original commissioning data. For relay 87G, the line CT and neutral CT ratios were 24000/5 A, with a differential current pickup (?I) of 125 mA and a slope setting of 10%. For relay 87GT, the UST A CT, USB B CT, and GEN CT ratios were 24000/5 A, while the GSU CT ratio was 1900/5 A, with a slope setting of 30%. The evaluation results show that the protection system configuration remains consistent with the initial commissioning settings. Therefore, the differential relay settings continue to meet the established protection parameters for generator protection in Units 5–7 at PT Indonesia Power PGU Suralaya.

Abstract

Background. Outseal PLC Training for PVTE Students at Sultan Ageng University Programmable Logic Controller is a device that can be programmed according to industrial process needs. Purpose. This activity is a service activity for PVTE Study Program lecturers at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University which is expected to be able to improve students' skills in terms of being equipped for the world of work. Method. This activity is a service activity for PVTE Study Program lecturers at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University which is expected to be able to improve students' skills in terms of being equipped for the world of work. This PLC Outseal Training activity is carried out face to face for 8 hours in the FKIP educational room at Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. This training method uses a practical based method. Results. The evaluation results show that students seem interested and do not experience problems when practicing PLC. Conclusion. This training has a significant impact on students' skills in industrial automation concentration courses.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and evaluate an Android-based application for monitoring student violations at SMK Negeri 4 Kota Serang, which previously relied on a manual, ledger-based recording system that was slow, error-prone, and difficult to track; interviews at the school found that more than 60% of 1,414 registered students had been recorded for a violation over three years. Using the Research and Development (R&D) method with a Waterfall model, the system was built with Kodular and Firebase Realtime Database and evaluated through black-box testing, media-expert validation, and user (counselor) response testing. The application provides administrator and teacher roles with features for managing student, teacher, and class data, recording violations, generating class recaps, visualizing violation charts, and ranking violators. Black-box testing showed that all tested functions (100%) worked as expected, expert validation produced an average score of 4.36 ("Good"), and user response testing produced an average score of 4.36 ("Very Good"). These findings indicate that the developed system is feasible for speeding up data recording, reducing manual recording errors, and supporting more structured student guidance.
