Abstract

A strong and positive organizational culture is believed to create a supportive work environment, increase job satisfaction, and strengthen employee loyalty, thereby reducing turnover rates. This research uses a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees of Mikibal Café. The data were analyzed using statistical methods to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee retention. The results indicate that organizational culture has a significant influence on employee retention, meaning that the better the implementation of organizational cultural values such as teamwork, effective communication, and supportive leadership, the higher the employees’ intention to remain with the organization. This study is expected to provide practical implications for the management of Mikibal Café in developing human resource management strategies focused on strengthening organizational culture to improve employee retention and achieve sustainable organizational performance.

Abstract

HR Analytics is a data-driven approach used to support decision making in human resource management. This study aims to analyze the implementation of HR Analytics in data-driven decision making within the human resources management of the West Sumatra Provincial Transportation Agency. The research employs a descriptive approach using secondary data, including personnel records, attendance data, and performance reports. The results indicate that HR Analytics provides accurate information to support decision making related to workforce planning, performance evaluation, and human resource development. The implementation of HR Analytics contributes to improving evidence-based human resource management in the public sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of work life balance and its effect on employee productivity at D’sruput UMKM, Lubuk Begalung, Padang. The topic was chosen due to the importance of balancing work and personal life in improving employee performance, especially in small and medium enterprises with limited human resources. This research uses a quantitative approach with data collected through questionnaires distributed to employees. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and simple regression analysis to determine the relationship between work life balance and employee productivity. The results indicate that work life balance has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity. Employees who are able to balance their work responsibilities and personal lives tend to show higher levels of productivity. These findings highlight the importance for UMKM to implement work life balance practices as a strategy to enhance employee productivity and organizational performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of communication and the work environment on employee performance, with job satisfaction as an intervening variable at PT. Kemilau Permata Sawit. This study employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, distributing questionnaires to employees. The sampling technique used proportional sampling, while data analysis employed path analysis based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results showed that communication had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction and performance. The work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, but not on job satisfaction. Furthermore, job satisfaction was shown to have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction, as an intervening variable, was shown to mediate the effect of communication on employee performance, but not the effect of the work environment on employee performance. This research is expected to provide management with consideration in improving employee performance through more effective communication and work environment management.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance with length of service as a moderating variable at PT Ampalu Indah Lestari. The data collection method was through surveys and distributing questionnaires, with a sample of 55 respondents. The analysis method used was structural equation modeling using smartpls. The results of this study showed a significant influence of motivation on employee performance. There was a significant influence of job satisfaction on employee performance. There was an insignificant influence of motivation on employee performance in moderation of length of service. There was an insignificant influence of job satisfaction on employee performance in moderation of length of service.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of job training, career development, and job satisfaction on employee performance through work motivation as an intervening variable at the Livestock and Animal Health Service Office of West Sumatra Province. This study employed a quantitative research method using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach with SmartPLS 3.0 as the analysis tool. The population and sample of this study consisted of all employees of the Livestock and Animal Health Service Office of West Sumatra Province. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed to test the proposed research hypotheses. The results of the study indicated that job training, career development, and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Furthermore, job training, career development, job satisfaction, and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. These findings indicate that work motivation plays an important role in improving employee performance. In addition, work motivation is proven to mediate the effect of job training on employee performance, as well as mediate the effect of career development and job satisfaction on employee performance at the Livestock and Animal Health Service Office of West Sumatra Province.
