Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui komitmen pegawai Kantor Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Tanah Datar ditinjau dari aspek loyalitas, keterlibatan dan disiplin. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi penelitian di Kantor Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Tanah Datar berjumlah 55 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik Insidental Sampling dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan tingkat kesalahan sebesar 10% dan diperoleh sampel sebanyak 36 pegawai. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen berupa angket berbentuk skala likert yang terdiri dari 36 item. Sebelum angket digunakan terlebih dahulu diperiksa validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan loyalitas pegawai berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 4,25 dan TCR sebesar 85,07%. Keterlibatan pegawai berada pada kategori cukup tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 3,98 dan TCR sebesar 79,69%. Disiplin pegawai berada pada kategori tinggi dengan skor rata-rata 4,12 dan TCR 82,47%. Rata-rata skor keseluruhan sebesar 4,11 dan TCR sebesar 82,41%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka komitmen pegawai Kantor Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Tanah Datar berada pada kategori tinggi dan perlu ditingkatkan menjadi sangat tinggi.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze (1) the performance of SMPN [state junior high school] teachers, (2) the principal's academic supervision, and (3) pedagogical competence. This research uses a correlational quantitative method with an associative type. The population is 165 teachers at SMPN. Meanwhile, the samples were taken using a proportional stratified random sampling technique. The research instrument used a Likert scale model questionnaire. In addition, the test results show a valid. Next, the research data was analysed using the mean for data description, and test requirements, which are normality, homogeneity, independence, and linearity. The teacher performance results were 89.51%, academic supervision 85.00%, and pedagogical competence 79.66%. The results showed that the contribution of academic supervision to teacher performance was 13.10%. The pedagogical competence contribution to teacher performance was 16.60%, and the academic supervision and pedagogical competence contribution to teacher performance was 37.60%. The implications of the findings are also discussed.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya kompetensi kepribadian yang dimiliki guru di SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai persepsi siswa tentang: tentang: 1) kepribadian yang berakhlak mulia dan dapat menjadi teladan, 2) kepribadian guru yang mantap dan stabil, 3) kepribadian yang dewasa, 4) kepribadian yang arif dan 5) kepribadian yang berwibawa. di SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. Populasinya seluruh siswa kelas XI dan XII yang berjumlah 243 orang siswa SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang. Sampel berjumlah 78 orang, diambil menggunakan teknik stratified proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner atau angket model skala Likert yang telah diuji cobakan untuk melihat validitas dan reliabilitasnya pada tingkat kepercayaan 5%. Yang hasilnya dari 40 item pernyataan, 37 item valid dan 3 item invalid, kemudian pernyataan yang tidak valid dianggap gugur serta dinyatakan reliabel. Data diolah menggunakan rumus mean. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi siswa tentang: (a) kepribadian guru yang berakhlak mulia dan dapat menjadi teladan 4,40, (b) kepribadian guru yang mantap dan stabil 3,96, (c) kepribadian guru yang dewasa 3,90, (d) kepribadian guru yang arif 3,89 dan (e) kepribadian guru yang berwibawa 3,88. Jadi kompetensi kepribadian guru sudah mampu diterapkan oleh guru di SMK Kartika 1-2 Padang yaitu dengan skor rata-rata 4,01 berdasarkan persepsi siswanya.

Abstract

This study aims to find out (1) describe the teacher's perception of the implementation of the principal's leadership function in Public Middle School, Nanggalo District, Padang City, (2) describe the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the instruction function from teacher perceptions in Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City , (3) describes the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the consulting function from teacher perceptions in the Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, (4) describes the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the participation function from teacher perceptions in the Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, ( 5) describe the implementation of the principal's leadership seen from the implementation of the delegation function from the perceptions of teachers at SMP Negeri Nanggalo District, Padang City, and (6) describe the implementation of the leadership of the school principal from the implementation of the control function from teacher perceptions at SMP Negeri Nanggalo District, Padang City. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in the study were teachers at Nanggalo District Public Middle School, Padang City, totaling 57 samples. Sampling using simple proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used for research is a closed questionnaire using descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on instruction was very good with the highest average of 4.7, (2) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on consultative was very good with the highest average of 4.74, ( 3) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on participation is good with the highest average of 4.58, (4) the teacher's perception of the implementation of the leadership function based on delegation is very good with the highest average of 4.67, and (5) the teacher's perception of the implementation leadership function based on good control with the highest average of 4.58.

This study aims to find out (1) to describe the school climate towards staff freedom at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, (2) to describe the school climate towards professional interest at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, (3) to describe the school climate towards affiliation at the Public Middle School Koto Tangah Padang District, (4) describes the school climate towards support for students at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District, (5) describes the school climate towards the completeness of resources at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District. This type of research is descriptive research. The population in the study were teachers at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School, totaling 72 samples. Sampling using stratified proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used for research is a closed questionnaire using descriptive analysis. The results showed that: (1) the school climate towards staff freedom at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School was conducive with the highest average of 4.6, (2) the school climate towards professional interest at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School was very conducive with an average the highest average is 4.75, (3) the school climate towards affiliation at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School is conducive with the highest average 4.54, (4) the school climate towards supporting students at the Koto Tangah Padang District Public Middle School is very conducive with the highest average is 4.75, (5) the school climate for the completeness of resources at SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District is very conducive with the highest average being 4.67. The conclusion is that the school climate in SMP Negeri Koto Tangah Padang District is conducive from all aspects, namely from staff freedom, professional interest, affiliation, support for students and to the completeness of resources.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the organisational climate in the education office and West Pasaman district seen from indicators of warmth, innovation, cooperation, openness, support and responsibility in the West Pasaman District Education and Culture Office. This type of research is descriptive research. The research population was all employees at the West Pasaman Regency Education and Culture Office, totaling 72 people. Determination of the magnitude is determined by the Slovin formula, withdrawal using saturated sampling technique. The instrument used was a questionnaire with a Likert scale and tested its validity and reliability. Furthermore, the data collected is analysed by finding the average and categorising the level of achievement. The results showed that organisational climate was seen 1) warmth 4.3, 2) innovation 4.3, 3) collaboration 4.4, 4) openness 4.4 5) support 4.3 and 6) responsibility 4.3. So the organisational climate in the Pasaman Barat district education office is included in the conducive category with an average score of 4.4.

Abstract

This paper examined the influence of principal supervision on teacher performance at Vocational High school 2 Padang. This is a correlational research. The population is 76 teachers and research sample is 43 teachers that are taken by propotional stratified random sampling. The instrument was questionnaire with Likert scale models that had been tested forits validity and reliability. The data were analyzed by simple linear regression. The results showed that the influence of principal supervision on teacher performance at Vocational School (SMKN) 2 in Padang was significant.

Abstract

This study aims to see how much far the independent variable affects the dependent variable. This study explains and sees how much influence the principal's leadership, school climate has on teacher performance at SMPN Sangir District, South Solok Regency. The type of research used is correlational quantitative research. The population is 81 teachers of SMP Negeri in Sangir sub-district, from the population obtained a sample of 44 teachers, the sample was taken using stratified proportional random sampling technique. The instrument used to collect data for the three research variables was a Likert with five alternative answers, namely: always, often, sometimes, rarely, and never. The findings of this study indicate that the principal's leadership has a direct effect on teacher performance by 19.2%. school climate has an effect on teacher performance by 19.8%. Principal leadership and school climate together affect teacher performance by 32.6%. The research findings can be used in order to improve teacher performance through principal leadership and school climate at SMP N Sangir District, South Solok Regency. Through the findings of this study, we can conclude that teacher performance can be improved by improving principal leadership and school climate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan adalah mendeskripsikan informasi mengenai pelaksanaan pembinaan sastra dan budaya, pembinaan kesiswaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, pembinaan dan pemanfaatan kesiswaan komunikasi dalam Bahasa Inggris.Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan perhitungan rata-rata (mean). Penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif, populasi sebanyak 882 siswa dan sampel 10% yaitu 92 siswa yang diambil secara acak dengan menggunakan teknik proportional random sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan model skala likert yang terdiri dari 30 pertanyaan dan 5 alternatif jawaban yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1) Pembinaan sastra dan budaya berada pada kategori baik 3,77 2) Pembinaan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi berada pada kategori baik 4.03 3) Pembinaan komunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris berada pada kategori baik 3.97. Maka dari itu kesimpulannya pembinaan kesiswaan di SMK Negeri 1 Pasaman berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai 3.93.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat dan mendapatkan informasi tentang Motivasi Kerja Pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Barat, dilihat dari indikator intensitas (intensity), ketekunan (persistence), arah perilaku (direction of behaviour), tingkat usaha (level of effort). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu analisis statistik deskriptif. Populasi penelitian adalah pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Barat yang berjumlah 170 orang. Dengan sampel penelitian sebanyak 61 responden, menggunakan teknik Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model skala likert yang memiliki lima alternatif jawaban. Hasil uji validitas dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa instrumen motivasi kerja pegawai tersebut valid dan reliabel. Kemudian data di dalam penelitian ini diolah menggunakan bantuan program SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) versi 25. Hasil analisis data motivasi kerja pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Barat menunjukkan bahwa 1) intensitas (intensity) dengan capaian skor rata-rata 4,06 dalam kategori tinggi, 2) ketekunan (persistence) dengan capaian skor rata-rata 4,01 dalam kategori tinggi, 3) arah perilaku (direction of behaviour) dengan capaian skor rata-rata 4,11 dalam kategori tinggi, 4) tingkat usaha (level of effort) dengan capaian skor rata-rata 4,07 dalam kategori tinggi. Jadi motivasi kerja pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumatera Barat secara keseluruhan mendapat skor rata-rata 4,06 dengan kategori tinggi.
