Abstract

This service is in the form of mentoring activities that aim to understand students in writing accredited national scientific articles that provide the key to student success in writing in nationally reputable journals). This service activity was conducted at the Institut Agama Islam Ma’arif NU (IAIMNU) Metro Lampung, Indonesia. This seminar activity consists of 4 actions: presentation of material by a servant, review of scientific articles of one student by a servant, question and answer, and evaluation of service. The evaluation results of this service activity indicate that the percentage of the score in filling out the questionnaire is 90% which is in the high category, which means that this mentoring activity is very successful in providing understanding to participants in writing scientific articles. This success is due to good cooperation between the Head of Study Program, presenters from the PKM element, and students participating in this mentoring activity. The service recommends that for students to write scientific articles, students must understand three knowledge: the stages of writing, writing components of scientific papers, and submitting scientific articles to journals.

Abstract

The study aims to explain the process of externalization, objectification, and internalization in the urf study of the implementation of ngumbai lawok. The research uses an ethnographic approach where data is taken by looking directly at the ceremonies and traditions to obtain details of the implementation carried out. Analysis of the data used is a descriptive analysis technique by describing the object's state under study. The results of this study describe ngumbai lawok is a form of traditional ceremony celebrated or carried out by the people of the West Coast as a form of gratitude to Allah swt to get fruitful results and avoid the calamity that will occur. The externalization process creates the ngumbai lawok ceremony, which is obtained based on his beliefs so far. The objectification process, which includes the ngumbai lawok ceremony, is obtained from the externalization process. Institutional agents consist of traditional leaders, community leaders, village heads, and fishing communities. The internalization process is explored in the name of the community again, perceiving and interpreting every meaning of the ngumbai lawok ceremony. Based on the urf theory review, ngumbai lawok is a form of gratitude in God's nature. In addition, it is a custom that has been accepted by the wider community, justified by considerations of common sense, brings good, and rejects damage. In ngumbai lawok, the request is also purely addressed to Allah and hopes for the blessing and salvation. In addition, in the ngumbai lawok ritual, in essence, the Coastal community only respects their previous ancestors and carries out traditions from generation to generation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Muslim intellectuals in the 20th century in reforming Islamic education in Indonesia. The figures that the author examines are Hasyim Asy'ari and Ahmad Dahlan a scholar who founded a large Islamic organization. The progress of Islamic education in Indonesia allegedly coincided with the establishment of large organizations, namely Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah. The research method used in writing is descriptive qualitative research by analyzing relevant written data through heuristic methods. In this study, it was found that at the beginning of the 20th century, Indonesian society was a society that was still underdeveloped in terms of knowledge so Dutch influence dominated, the ulema or kiyai made efforts to awaken and educate the Indonesian nation from scientific backwardness to fight against the colonialists. Hasyim Asy'ari and Ahmad Dahlan played an important role in overhauling the Islamic education system in Indonesia. If Hasyim Asy'ari emphasized the ethics and spirituality of Muslims, Ahmad Dahlan made improvements in terms of method and curriculum. The role of the two kiyai has brought major changes to this day. The establishment of Islamic boarding schools, madrasa, and the function of mosques as universities cannot be separated from the role of the two.

Abstract

Many parents think that games are a waste of time and not useful, so they forbid their children to play, and as a result, the children's soul will be depressed and the words naughty child, cougar, passive, and so on. This assumption is caused by the fact that parents do not fully understand their personality, characteristics, tendencies, and child nature. By looking at conditions like this, Kindergarten is expected to strive to implement the function of play by children's growth and development by providing the freedom to each child accompanied by the cultivation of constructive values Research objectives. To determine the game method's implementation using a real-world approach to increase children's learning creativity in TK Ma'arif 22 Trimurjo. The technique used for this research is qualitative. Subjects were students included and engaged in math games with the real-world: in-depth interview data collection techniques, observation, and documentation. In the implementation of playing activities, students' attitudes are given the freedom to develop their potential and creative power according to their talents and interests. In this case, it can be proven by the games at TK Ma'arif 22 Trimurjo. Mathematical games using a real-world approach in increasing the learning creativity of kindergarten students.

Abstract

Students typically need help understanding a succession of stories, relating mathematical concepts, and formulating them logically, systematically, and critically. Thus, students' math skills still need to improve. Students' mathematical intelligence, which has yet to be employed to solve story-form questions, affects their math abilities. This study examines MTs Walisongo Sukajadi class VIII students' mathematical and logical abilities. This research is quantitative and ex post facto. This study included 25 MTs Walisongo Sukajadi class VIII pupils. This study randomly selected 25 pupils from the population. Data is collected using surveys and tests. Data analysis uses Simple Linear Regression. This research found that Y = -8.728 + 0.958X is the regression equation from the analysis above. Statistical hypothesis testing yields Fcount = 50.200 and Ftable = 4.22. Since Fcount > Ftable and 0.000 > 0.05, H0 was rejected. This suggests that mathematical and logical intelligence positively and significantly affects SPLDV tale problem-solving. The R2 value of 0.686 shows how much mathematical and logical intelligence affects problem-solving. After utilizing the determinant method was 68.6%, meaning logical intellect contributed 68.6% to problem-solving, whereas other variables contributed 31.4%.

Abstract

The learning model is a teacher's tool in the form of structured images that are presented to students. The learning model applied aims to improve students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The author determines the purpose of this study. Namely to assess the impact of experiments on the subject's knowledge of mathematical concepts in geometry material. This type of research uses experimental research using a mind mapping learning model with a pre-experimental design, one-group pretest-posttest. Tests were carried out randomly or through cluster sampling on building materials class VII Realschule. The data collection tool that the researchers used for this research was a test designed to test students' understanding of concepts. The researcher interviewed teachers, students, and documents in this data collection method. A hypothesis test was carried out on the data obtained after conducting a sig5% level t-test, normality test, and homogeneity test on statistical data. It was found that students could not understand mathematical concepts (mind mapping). This dramatically influences the results of understanding mathematical concepts. After using this method, students receive higher performance scores than before. Based on the t-test results, we can conclude the difference in the value of learning outcomes before and after applying the author's teaching method.
