Abstract

Physics is often considered an abstract subject, posing challenges for students to fully comprehend its concepts. The integration of advancing technology as a learning medium can facilitate students’ understanding, particularly when combined with authentic learning approaches that present concrete situations. This allows students to observe, analyze, perform, and even experience concepts firsthand. An e-module based on authentic learning within the context of wetlands can serve as an effective learning medium. This study aims to develop a valid and practical e-module based on authentic learning in the context of wetlands for teaching Archimedes’ principle. The validity of the e-module was assessed through expert validation involving three specialists, while practicality and readability were evaluated using student response questionnaires. The research follows the Research and Development (R&D) methodology using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation, and (5) Evaluation. The study was conducted in the Physics Education program at Lambung Mangkurat University (ULM) in Banjarmasin. The validation results indicated that the material expert assessment achieved a score of 100%, the language expert assessment scored 93.75%, and the media expert assessment scored 91.67%, with an overall average validation score of 95.14%. The readability test yielded an average score of 91.38%, while student response assessments resulted in an average score of 93.89%. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the developed e-module is highly feasible, valid, fully readable, and practical for use in learning.

Abstract

Teknologi mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat ketika memasuki abad ke-20 serta memberikan dampak besar berupa perubahan dalam kehidupan manusia. Salah satu hal yang mampu memberikan perubahan besar dalam kehidupan manusia ialah gadget. Gadget merupakan barang yang memiliki kecanggihan memuat berbagai macam aplikasi serta menyediakan hal yang menjadi kebutuhan manusia. Di sisi lain, kemajuan teknologi berdampak pada perkembangan gadget tersebut memberikan dampak dalam kehidupan manusia, terutama bagi tumbuh kembang anak yaitu secara tidak langsung mampu memengaruhi kesehatan tubuh manusia, merubah sikap social anak, serta mampu menurunkan jiwa kreativitas siswa. Oleh karena itu, penulis menggagas kegiatan sosial dengan judul “Pelatihan Penggunaan Fitur Kesehatan Digital untuk Mencegah Kecanduan Gadget pada Anak-Anak”. Tujuan dari penulisan karya ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kesadaran orang tua serta anak agar bijak dalam menggunakan gadget. Metode penulisan yang digunakan dalam karya tulis ilmiah ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa kuisioner untuk memperkuat gagasan yang diajukan. Pada kuesioner, dapat dilihat masih rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan bahaya penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan serta pengetahuan fitur kesehatan untuk monitoring dan control penggunaan gadget. Dapat diketahui sebanyak 90% peserta dapat memasang fitur kesehatan digital dan timer aplikasi. 10% belum dikarenakan smartphone yang digunakan masih menggunakan sistem operasi dibawah android 8.1.

Abstract

Students' science process skills are still relatively low because the availability of learning resources such as teaching modules has not improved students' science process skills. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the feasibility of the STEM-PBL-oriented sound wave module to improve students' science process skills. This study uses the ADDIE model, which includes (1) analysis, (2) design, (3) development, and (4) implementation. The trial in this study used a one-group pre-test post-test design on 31 students at one of the state high schools in Banjarmasin City. Data collection was carried out through the validity and practicality of the module, which includes the teaching module and the implementation of the teaching module. The study results for the teaching module's validity value were (3.70 and 0.90) and the practicality value of the teaching module's implementation (was 3.36 and 0.68). Thus, the developed STEM-PBL-oriented sound wave teaching module can be implemented to improve students' science process skills, as seen from its high validity and practicality.

Abstract

Science process skills are an approach that should be used as a reference by educators in carrying out good physics learning in the classroom. This research aimed to produce valid and practical science process skills-based renewable energy material student worksheets to improve mutual cooperation and creative characters. The type of research conducted is 4D model development research. The research trial subjects were 33 students of class X MA. Data collection techniques used validation instruments for validity and student response questionnaires for practicality. The study results are: (1) student worksheets are categorized as very valid with an average score of 3.52; (2) student worksheets are categorized as practical with an average score of 2.64. Thus, the worksheet on renewable energy material based on science process skills is feasible to improve the character of mutual cooperation and creative and cognitive abilities of students in physics learning.

Abstract

Keterampilan proses sains (KPS) siswa pada materi gerak harmonik sederhana sering kali rendah akibat keterbatasan kegiatan praktikum dan kurangnya fasilitas laboratorium. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan E-LKPD berbasis video eksperimen dan laboratorium virtual yang dapat digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran untuk melatihkan KPS siswa secara efektif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate), dengan subjek penelitian adalah 22 siswa kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar validitas, angket kepraktisan, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil validasi menunjukkan E-LKPD ini sangat valid pada aspek didaktik, konstruksi, dan keterampilan proses sains. Dari angket kepraktisan, E-LKPD dinilai praktis dengan rata-rata skor 70,31%, menunjukkan bahwa media ini mudah digunakan dan menarik bagi siswa. Efektivitas E-LKPD ini juga dibuktikan melalui peningkatan keterampilan proses sains siswa dengan skor N-gain sebesar 0,53 (kategori sedang). Integrasi video eksperimen dan laboratorium virtual dalam E-LKPD ini membantu siswa memahami konsep fisika dan melatih keterampilan proses sains secara mandiri. E-LKPD ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif pembelajaran interaktif untuk meningkatkan kompetensi sains siswa pada topik-topik yang memerlukan visualisasi konsep abstrak. Development of E-Worksheet Based on Experimental Videos and Virtual Laboratories to Train Students' Science Process Skills in Simple Harmonic Motion Abstract Students' science process skills (SPS) in simple harmonic motion are often low due to limitations in laboratory practice and inadequate laboratory facilities. This study aims to develop an E-worksheet (E-LKPD) based on experimental videos and virtual laboratories that can effectively train students’ SPS in physics. The research follows the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate), with 22 tenth-grade students in SMA Negeri 12 Banjarmasin as research subjects. Research instruments included validation sheets, practicality questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. Validation results show that the E-LKPD is highly valid in didactic, construction, and science process skills aspects. Practicality scores averaged 70.31%, indicating that students found the E-LKPD easy to use and engaging. The effectiveness was demonstrated by an increase in SPS, with an N-gain score of 0.53 (moderate category). The integration of experimental videos and virtual laboratories in this E-LKPD aids students in understanding physics concepts and independently enhancing their science process skills. This E-LKPD is recommended as an interactive learning tool to improve students' science competence in topics requiring visualization of abstract concepts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas model Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah (KPM) pada siswa kelas XI dalam materi termodinamika. Melalui pendekatan kuasi-eksperimen dengan desain one-group pre-test post-test, penelitian ini melibatkan 24 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik convenience sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes esai dengan beberapa indikator KPM, meliputi memahami masalah, merencanakan solusi, melaksanakan solusi, dan mengevaluasi hasil. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada semua aspek KPM, dengan nilai N-gain rata-rata sebesar 0,75 yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Selain itu, CPS juga terbukti meningkatkan keterampilan sosial siswa, seperti tanggung jawab, kerjasama, komunikasi, dan keaktifan, berdasarkan hasil penilaian peer assessment. Berdasarkan hasil ini, CPS disarankan untuk diterapkan pada topik-topik sains lainnya yang memiliki kompleksitas serupa. Temuan ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya CPS sebagai metode pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan abad ke-21, khususnya dalam bidang pemecahan masalah dan kolaborasi. The Effectiveness of the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) Model in Enhancing Problem-Solving Skills in Thermodynamics  Abstract This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) model in enhancing problem-solving skills (PSS) in 11th-grade students studying thermodynamics. Using a quasi-experimental approach with a one-group pre-test post-test design, the study involved 24 students selected through convenience sampling. The research instrument consisted of essay tests with various PSS indicators, including understanding the problem, planning solutions, executing solutions, and evaluating results. The findings indicate a significant improvement across all PSS aspects, with an average N-gain of 0.75, categorized as high. CPS also enhanced students' social skills, such as responsibility, cooperation, communication, and engagement, as evidenced by peer assessment results. Based on these findings, CPS is recommended for use in other science topics with similar complexity. These results emphasize CPS as an effective instructional method for developing 21st-century skills, particularly in problem-solving and collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the feasibility of student worksheets on natural science with Kokami (Kotak Kartu misterius/ mysterious card box) media to increase the students’ learning outcome. The themes of the developed product are work and energy for junior high school level students. The specific objectives of this study were to describe the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of natural science students' worksheets with Kokami media. The type of this research is research and development with the ADDIE development model. The test subjects were 36 students from one of the public junior high school in Barito Kuala regency. The instruments of this research were validation sheets, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The results showed that: 1) the validity of students’ worksheets of natural science with the Kokami media was included in the highly valid category, (2) the practicality of students’ worksheets of natural science with the Kokami media was in the very good category, and (3) the effectiveness of students’ worksheets of natural science with Kokami media was in the high category. It can be concluded that the natural science students' worksheets with Kokami media were feasible to be used at the junior high school level. Kokami media can be an effective and attractive alternative learning media in learning physics

Abstract

An integrated curriculum is an educational approach that prepares students to face lifelong learning. In curriculum integration, schools must view education as a process of developing the abilities needed in life, especially in facing 21st-century life challenges, not discrete subjects that are divided into different fields. Integrated learning will provide the opportunity for students to understand the complex problems that exist in the surrounding environment with a complete view. With this integrated learning, students are expected to have the ability to identify, gather, assess, and use information that is around them meaningfully. This can be obtained not only through the provision of new knowledge to students but also through the opportunity to strengthen and apply it in a variety of increasingly diverse new situations. The main focus of this article is to analyze the implementation of integrated learning in the curriculum in Indonesia. The integrated curriculum developed by Robin Fogarty has many advantages that can be adapted in the development of education in Indonesia, including the revised Curriculum 2013. Academics and practitioners must comprehensively understand the nature of the ten curriculum models (Robin Fogarty) and Curriculum 2013 before making tools and implementing them in learning.

Abstract

In the current era of technology and information, digital literacy is a critical factor for life and career success, but it has received less attention in schools. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Autonomy-Based STEM learning (A-STEM learning) in improving students' digital literacy. This research uses the ADDIE development model. The implementation test used a one-group pre-test post-test design on 29 students in class XI MIPA in one of the high schools in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, Indonesia. Data collection used a digital literacy questionnaire that emphasized indicators of the intensity of application and utilization of digital literacy in learning activities; the number and variety of teaching materials and digital-based teaching aids; the frequency of accessing digital teaching materials; having operational skills in using ICT for learning and learning outcomes tests. The results obtained the n-gain value of digital literacy and learning outcomes of 0.74 and 0.85, respectively, with a high criteria. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan materi ajar elektronik berbantuan komik yang valid, praktis dan efektif untuk meningkatkan minat belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model ADDIE dan diuji cobakan pada 29 peserta didik kelas XI MIPA 1  di salah satu SMAN di Banjarmasin. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar validasi, angket respon peserta didik, angket minat belajar dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil materi ajar menunjukkan bahwa : (1) Validasi memperoleh skor 3,43 dengan kategori sangat baik, (2) Kepraktisan memperoleh skor 3,14 dengan kategori praktis, (3) Keefektivitasan memperoleh nilai n-gain 0,69 dengan kategori sedang. Minat belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dengan menggunakan materi ajar elekronik berbantuan komik.
