Abstract

This study discusses differences of opinion, skills and knowledge of students about the environment in elementary school that discusses the area by using the PjBL model in thematic learning by using science in Bengkulu. This research is quantitative research. The method used in this study is a quasi-experimental method. The design used was only the design of the pretest-posttest control group suitable. The population in this study were fifth grade students of SD Negeri in Bengkulu Province. The sample of this study was a class of urban representative experiment class is the fifth grade students in SDN 81 Kota Bengkulu, SDN 7 Rejang Lebong Regency and SDN 16 Kabupaten Bengkulu Utara. The sample for the control class is the area of SDN 05 Lebong Regency, SDN 27 Kabupaten Bengkulu Tengah and SDN 013 Seluma Regency. Data analysis techniques used quantitative analysis techniques using the Mann Whitney-u test. Hypothesis test results obtained for the ability of knowledge, skills and attitudes of 0,000 <sig 0,025. The conclusions of this study are about differences of opinion, skills and knowledge about the environment in the elementary school that discusses the region and region using the PjBL model in thematic learning using scientific in Bengkulu.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian berbasis penelitian pada masyarakat ini bertujuan melatih guru SDN 67 dalam menyusun perangkat model Quantum Teaching dalam pembelajaran matematika menggunakan Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar, kreativitas, dan karakter siswa SD. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah pelatihan dan pendampingan. Jumlah guru yang terlibat sebagai peserta dalam kegiatan ini adalah sebanyak 40 orang. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah menghasilkan perangkat pelatihan berupa modul pelatihan, PPT, lembar wawancara, lembar observasi proses pelatihan dan praktik pembelajaran, dan evaluasi terhadap proses pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini termasuk kategori baik. Sementara penguasaan peserta terhadap materi pelatihan juga termasuk kategori baik. Simpulan kegiatan PPM ini menghasilkan perangkat pelatihan berupa modul pelatihan, PPT, lembar wawancara, lembar observasi proses pelatihan dan praktik pembelajaran. Proses pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan termasuk kategori berhasil karena hasil obervasi menunjukkan proses pelaksanaan pelatihan termasuk kategori baik. Saran kegiatan ini adalah kegiatan selanjutnya disarankan untuk mempersiapkan jadwal kegiatan pengabdian yang lebih rinci dan terjadwal sehingga semua pihak dapat memberikan kontribusi dengan maksimal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran matematika berbantuan media video berbasis STEAM terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa. Peneliti menggunakan metode eksperimen semu yang merupakan penelitian kuantatif. Siswa kelas V A dan B di SDN Negeri 1 Kepahiang menjadi sampel pada penelitian ini. Teknik yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah pre-test dan post-test yang dirancang dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda berjumlah masing-masing 10 soal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pre-test diperoleh nilai tertinggi siswa di kelas eksperimen 70 dan nilai terendah 20 dengan rata-rata 44,5 sedangkan di kelas kontrol diperoleh nilai tertinggi 60 dan nilai terendah 30 dengan rata-rata 39. Kemudian hasil uji normalitas menunjukkan kedua sampel berdistribusi normal, begitupun hasil uji homogenitas berada pada varian yang homogen. Lebih lanjut pada post-test, di kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai sebesar 72,5 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 56 dengan perbedaan nilai rata-rata 16,5. Kesimpulan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media video pembelajaran berbasis STEAM terhadap kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa di kelas VA dan VB SD Negeri 01 Kepahiang.

Abstract

The descriptive study in this research describes the flood disaster preparedness attitude of children in the Bengkulu City River Basin. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that in theory, children already understood the steps that should be taken before a flood occurs, during a flood and after a flood. However, if a flood occurs, there are still children who do not heed the flood disaster preparedness protocol. Like playing and bathing in a puddle. Further research is needed to provide good understanding and awareness so that children not only know but can properly practice flood disaster preparedness when a flood occurs.

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum implements a multicultural approach in learning. Therefore, ethnomathematics is needed in elementary school mathematics learning. The purpose of this study is to explore the ethnomathematics found in Bengkulu and integrate it into the mathematics curriculum as a learning resource for first-grade elementary school students. This qualitative research with an ethnographic approach was conducted over a period of one year. The research activities include: (1) Identifying the ethnomathematics found in Bengkulu, (2) Mapping the learning achievements and indicators of the mathematics subject in the Merdeka Curriculum for first-grade elementary school, (3) Analyzing the ethnomathematics of Bengkulu City that can be integrated into the learning achievements and indicators of the mathematics subject in the Merdeka Curriculum for first-grade elementary school, and (4) Developing a draft of recommended mathematics teaching materials based on Bengkulu ethnomathematics. The research results obtained are (1) data on Bengkulu ethnomathematics, (2) mapping of learning achievements and indicators of the mathematics subject in the Merdeka Curriculum for first-grade elementary school, and (3) a product of mathematics teaching materials based on the ethnomathematics of Bengkulu City.
