Abstract

A phenomenon that is currently widely discussed is the massive growth of digital creators who are actively sharing unique and popular da'wah concepts, primarily through Islamic animation. The objective of this study is to explore and analyze Islamic animated content on social media and identify the recurring themes found in these contents. The research team collected data by utilizing advanced search features and relevant keywords to locate content that met the specified criteria. Between June 2022 and June 2023, the research team evaluated a total of 5,000 pieces of content sourced from various virtual communities on Indonesia's prominent social media platforms, namely Instagram and YouTube. The first two rounds of evaluation focused on identifying qualitatively significant themes, while rounds 3 to 4 expanded on the initial findings for each social media platform. Employing the Netnography method for analysis, four distinct themes emerged from all Islamic animated content on social media: "Ustadz in Animation," "Life Advice," "Stories of Prophets and Apostles," and "Indonesian Muslim Children."

Abstract

Cahaya Kemilau is one of the UMKM craftsmen of Riau Malay songket weaving in Pekanbaru. Some of the partner problems in this activity consist of: 1) production equipment that is still inadequate to increase production output, 2) traditional recording system that allows human error and is difficult to control, 3) traditional marketing system so that it has not touched potential customers from out of town to abroad. Some of the solutions offered to partners to solve existing problems include: 1) Adding weaving equipment 2) Designing an Android-based sales system 9) Making digital marketing (websites, social media and e-commerce of light sheen). Through this activity, several problems that became a priority for Cahaya Kemilau in producing Riau Malay songket weaving and also expanding its market distribution have been resolved with the presence of weaving equipment assistance that has been provided to seek to increase weaving production. For digital-based sales, currently Tenun Cahaya Kemilau is able to do marketing throughout the archipelago and even from outside Indonesia through online sales of websites, shopee and Instagram. Management management has become even better with the existence of an Android-based sales system. Traditional financial records, which were originally very vulnerable to missing records and human errors, are now easier to manage and monitor properly by the management.

Abstract

This study examines how intranet quality affects the financial performance of Malaysian public universities, filling a crucial gap in understanding how internal digital infrastructure supports institutional sustainability. It highlights Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) as a mediating factor translating intranet quality into measurable performance results. A cross-sectional survey was conducted with 210 participants, including risk committees, internal auditors, and top management from 20 public universities in Malaysia. This study used purposive, stratified, and census sampling methods. Intranet quality was evaluated across six key areas: collaboration tools, risk management application, access to proper risk data, interaction in risk problem-solving, communication among the risk committee, and risk management controls. ERM implementation was measured using ISO 31000-aligned standards, while university financial performance was assessed through five income sources: research projects, consultancies, public and private funding, commercialisation, and program offerings. Covariance-based structural equation modelling (CB-SEM) was employed for analysis. Findings reveal that intranet quality significantly improves ERM implementation, positively impacting financial performance. ERM partially mediates this relationship, with more substantial indirect effects than direct ones. This study emphasises the strategic importance of digital infrastructure and risk governance in boosting institutional effectiveness. It proposes a socio-technical model that helps university leaders leverage intranet systems to enhance risk resilience and long-term financial sustainability.

Abstract

The growing demand for sustainable innovation in educational institutions underscores the importance of leadership models grounded in ethical and religious values. In the context of Islamic education, leadership is not only expected to drive organizational performance but also to uphold Islamic ethical principles that shape decision-making and innovation practices. This study aims to examine the influence of Islamic Leadership on sustainable school innovation, with Islamic Business Ethics serving as a mediating variable. The research focuses on Islamic private schools in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The study employs a quantitative research design using a survey method. From a total of 349 Islamic private schools, 100 schools were selected as the research sample using purposive sampling. Data were collected from school leaders and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3.0 software to test both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The findings reveal that Islamic Leadership has a significant and positive effect on sustainable school innovation. Furthermore, Islamic Leadership positively influences the implementation of Islamic Business Ethics. The results also confirm that Islamic Business Ethics significantly mediates the relationship between Islamic Leadership and school innovation, indicating that ethical practices strengthen the impact of leadership on innovation outcomes. These findings imply that integrating Islamic ethical values into leadership practices is essential for fostering sustainable innovation in Islamic educational institutions. In practice, school leaders are encouraged to embed Islamic Business Ethics into the organizational culture to enhance innovation and long-term educational sustainability.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of digital technologies has transformed how cultural heritage is preserved, represented, and commercialized in contemporary markets. This study aims to systematically map research trends concerning the digitalization of cultural heritage and its implications for local product marketing during the 2020–2025 period. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach guided by the PRISMA framework, 25 Scopus-indexed journal articles were analyzed to identify dominant themes, methodological patterns, and emerging research directions. The findings reveal four major thematic clusters: digital transformation and cultural governance, digital marketing and MSME competitiveness, cultural identity and consumer psychology, and technological innovation through artificial intelligence and immersive media. The results indicate that digitalization enhances market reach and engagement for culturally embedded local products; however, sustainable competitiveness depends not only on technological adoption but also on authenticity, narrative coherence, and institutional readiness. Emerging trends show increasing integration of AI and immersive technologies, stronger alignment with sustainability discourse, and growing cross-national comparative studies, while longitudinal and multi-level governance research remains underdeveloped. This study contributes by integrating fragmented research streams into a multidimensional analytical framework that connects cultural preservation with digital market performance. The findings provide theoretical advancement and practical insights for policymakers, cultural institutions, and local enterprises seeking to balance technological innovation with cultural integrity in digital marketplaces.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of job stress and work environment on cyberloafing behavior and their implications for employee performance at PT. Perry Eka Bina Mandiri, Pekanbaru, Indonesia. The study employed a quantitative descriptive approach using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for data analysis. The population consisted of all 34 employees of the company, and a census (saturated sampling) technique was applied, resulting in 34 respondents. The findings indicate that job stress does not have a significant effect on cyberloafing behavior or employee performance. The work environment has a significant negative effect on cyberloafing behavior but does not significantly influence employee performance. Furthermore, cyberloafing behavior has a significant negative effect on employee performance. These results highlight that cyberloafing plays a more direct role in influencing performance outcomes compared to job stress and work environment within the proposed model.
