Abstract

This study explores how TikTok social media narratives affect public opinion on social issues related to Rohingya refugees in Aceh. This study analyzes the narrative of Rohingya refugee rejection in Aceh by studying TikTok social media content produced by Ali Hamzah, a content creator with 1.1 million followers. The focus of the research is the shift in the perspective of the Acehnese people from acceptance in 2015 to rejection in 2023-2024. This research uses a qualitative approach with a content analysis method to examine TikTok videos uploaded by Ali Hamzah from December 2023 to July 2024 with the theme of Rohingya refugees. The data were analyzed using thematic coding techniques to identify dominant narrative patterns. The results show that the narrative of rejection is formed through three main themes: criticism of the shelter system, security and legality issues, and socio-economic impact. Ali Hamzah uses a narrative strategy that includes emotional language, persuasive visual techniques, and framing the issue as a national security threat. The content produced by Ali Hamzah strengthens the shift in Acehnese’s perception of Rohingya refugees. This shift in perception has an impact on the refusal of Rohingya refugees by the Aceh people. The study concludes that social media plays an important role in shaping and reinforcing the sentiment of rejection towards Rohingya refugees in Aceh.

Abstract

Sabun padat berbahan alami, seperti ekstrak daun jambu biji (Psidium guajava L.), semakin diminati karena manfaat kesehatan kulit dan efek antimikrobanya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui formulasi sabun padat transparan dari ekstrak etanol daun Jambu biji (Psidium guajava L) dan hasil evaluasi sediannya.  Penelitian ini memformulasikan sabun padat transparan dengan konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun jambu biji 0,5%, 1%, 2%, 4%, dan 8%. Evaluasi meliputi uji organoleptis, pH, stabilitas busa, iritasi, kelembaban, dan preferensi. Hasilnya, sabun dengan karakteristik transparan, warna coklat hingga merah pekat, aroma khas, dan memenuhi semua parameter uji, disukai oleh responden.Kata Kunci: Daun Jambu Biji, Sabun Padat Transparan, Melembabkan Kulit.

Abstract

Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) di industri perbankan memainkan peran penting dalam mencapai Tujuan Pembangunan Berkelanjutan. Namun, implementasinya di Indonesia masih menghadapi berbagai kendala, yang dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya risiko salah kelola LST di Indonesia karena peringkat manajemen yang lemah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji implementasi ESG di industri perbankan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterbukaan dan akuntabilitasnya dalam mendukung SDGs. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metodologi content analysis, berdasarkan Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) 2021, terhadap 20 bank konvensional yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) pada tahun 2023. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa komponen tata kelola telah diimplementasikan secara memadai, aspek sosial bervariasi, dan aspek lingkungan masih kurang optimal. Bank-bank BUMN mengungkapkan lebih banyak mengenai praktik-praktik lingkungan, sosial, dan tata kelola mereka dibandingkan dengan bank-bank swasta. Meskipun tren penerapan ESG menguntungkan, masih ada kesenjangan dalam hal transparansi dan kebutuhan untuk meningkatkan perhatian terhadap isu-isu lingkungan. Dengan perbaikan yang lebih lengkap dalam implementasi ESG, industri perbankan dapat memberikan kontribusi yang lebih besar untuk mencapai pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) adalah kecemasan sosial yang ditandai dengan keinginan konstan untuk terhubung dengan apa yang dilakukan orang lain. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui apa saja gejala dan dampak Fear Of Missing Out informasi sosial media yang dialami oleh Mahasiswa Komunikasi Dan Penyiaran Islam (KPI) angkatan 2019. Adapun penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan data wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan sebagian Mahasiswa Komunikasi Dan Penyiaran Islam Angkatan 2019 di IAIN Lhokseumawe mengalami gejala Fear of missing out (FoMO) terhadap informasi media sosial, dan dampak yang dihasilkan menunjukkan sulit memanajemen waktu dan kecemasan yang berlebihan. Melalui penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya penggunaan media sosial secara bijak, serta memahami gejala dan dampak FoMO terhadap pengguna media sosial.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a valid and reliable assessment instrument to measure students' higher-order thinking skills in the context of acid-base chemistry. The research employed a Research and Development (RD) approach using the 4-D model, which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The initial product was validated through expert judgment, evaluated for feasibility by chemistry teachers, and subjected to field testing. The study involved 200 twelfth-grade science students from SMAN Bireuen. Data collection techniques included interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data collection instruments included interview guidelines, item validation sheets, feasibility evaluation forms, and multiple-choice questions with open-ended justifications. The research findings revealed that the material validation assessment obtained an average score of 47.5 ( 46.194), categorized as "very good." Similarly, the feasibility assessment achieved an average score of 72.5 ( 67.188), also falling within the "very good" category. A total of 30 test items from the trial were analyzed in terms of validity, reliability, difficulty level, discrimination index, and distractor effectiveness. Therefore, it can be concluded that the assessment instrument is appropriate for measuring higher-order thinking skills in the topic of acid-base chemistry.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the Islamic banking sector in Indonesia, marked by the establishment of Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) due to the merger of three state-owned Islamic banks, reflects the increasing awareness of the importance of financial transactions based on sharia principles. In this context, monetary policy set by Bank Indonesia plays a crucial role in influencing the financial sector's stability, including the movement of Islamic bank stock prices. This study aims to analyze the impact of monetary policy, represented by inflation and exchange rate variables, on the stock price of Bank Syariah Indonesia from January 2022 to December 2024. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression analysis. The F-test results indicate that inflation and exchange rates simultaneously have a significant effect on stock prices. Partially, inflation has a substantial adverse effect, while exchange rates have a considerable positive impact on the stock price of BSI. These findings underscore the importance of stable monetary policy management as a critical reference for investors in making investment decisions in the Islamic banking sector.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the role of geography teachers, the obstacles they face, and the solutions for improving students' learning motivation. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with the research subjects including geography teachers as the primary respondents, while the school principal and students in class X Merdeka B are designated as supporting informants. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and document studies, and the validity of the data was tested for authenticity using source and technique triangulation. Subsequently, the data was analyzed through the stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research findings confirm that geography teachers play an important role in motivating students, including by: (1) activating student participation through questions and answers about the material, (2) creating a conducive classroom environment, (3) utilizing various teaching methods and media, (4) providing rewards in the form of praise or grades, and (5) involving students in group work. The obstacle teachers face is the difference in students' ability to understand the lesson. As for the solution implemented by the teacher, it is through outdoor learning activities (field practice).
