Abstract

Teacher retention is a key factor in maintaining the stability and quality of education, especially in the integrated Islamic school environment. Challenges in retaining experienced teachers often arise due to welfare dynamics, workload, and career development needs. This study aims to analyze the teacher retention strategy implemented at SMPIT Al Itqon Bogor as an effort to create sustainability in the quality of education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method of data collection techniques through interviews with school principals, vice principals and human resource development coordinators as well as permanent teachers with a minimum service period of five years. The results of the study show that there are five main strategies in retaining teachers, namely sustainable development of professional competencies, providing financial and non-financial welfare, regular spiritual coaching, creating a conducive work environment, and strengthening managerial communication. The retention strategy implemented is holistic by integrating professional aspects, welfare, spirituality, and organizational culture based on Islamic values. The success of teacher retention at SMPIT AL ITQON Bogor is the result of the synergy of various dimensions that strengthen each other, as well as becoming a model of human resource management that is relevant for the development of other integrated Islamic educational institutions. The novelty of this research lies in the teacher retention model based on the integration of professional and spiritual values in the context of integrated Islamic schools, which has not been widely studied in previous research

Abstract

Penelitian ini diarahkan untuk mengkaji secara mendalam pelaksanaan Sistem Penjaminan Mutu Internal (SPMI) dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan di SMA 1 PGRI Ciputat. SPMI dipahami sebagai perangkat strategis yang digunakan oleh satuan pendidikan untuk memastikan terpenuhinya standar mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan melalui tahapan Penetapan, Pelaksanaan, Evaluasi, Pengendalian, dan Peningkatan (PPEPP). Penerapan siklus tersebut menjadi landasan utama dalam membangun tata kelola sekolah yang berorientasi pada mutu dan perbaikan berkelanjutan. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara semi-terstruktur kepada informan kunci, observasi terhadap aktivitas sekolah, serta telaah dokumen yang relevan dengan pelaksanaan SPMI. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara sistematis melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui penerapan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik, sehingga temuan penelitian memiliki tingkat kredibilitas yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi SPMI di SMA 1 PGRI Ciputat telah dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan konsisten dengan mengacu pada siklus PPEPP. Penerapan SPMI memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan mutu proses pembelajaran, penguatan kompetensi pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, peningkatan efektivitas manajemen sekolah, serta pembentukan budaya mutu yang berkelanjutan. Namun demikian, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi adanya sejumlah kendala, antara lain resistensi sebagian warga sekolah terhadap perubahan serta keterbatasan pemahaman mengenai konsep dan praktik penjaminan mutu. Oleh karena itu, dukungan kepemimpinan yang visioner, keterlibatan aktif seluruh warga sekolah, serta optimalisasi pemanfaatan teknologi informasi menjadi faktor kunci dalam memastikan keberhasilan implementasi SPMI guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Penelitan ini bertujuan Untuk mengetahui gambaran penerapan sistem Kepemimpinan jarak jauh yang dilakukan Sekolah Sophos Internasional, Tangerang, Pendekatan pada penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologis ini. Teknik dalam pengumpulan data bisa berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sekolah Sophos Internasional, Tangerang, memastikan guru memiliki akses yang memadai untuk mendukung kegiatan belajar mengajar yang berani. Fasilitas peminjaman laptop bagi guru tanpa laptop sendiri dan penggunaan platform Zoom Meeting yang hanya dapat diakses oleh sivitas akademikanya yang memastikan hanya personel yang berwenang berpartisipasi dalam kelas daring. Kepala sekolah memantau kegiatan dan memungkinkan pergantian langsung jika guru menghadapi masalah. Meskipun terdapat tantangan komunikasi, sekolah mengambil langkah-langkah untuk memastikan guru mampu mengelola masalah secara efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically analyze Computer-Aided Arabic Language Learning, evaluate its effectiveness based on empirical evidence, identify the underlying theoretical framework, and map the challenges and opportunities for its implementation. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review method by following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses guide. An analysis was conducted on 86 articles discussing Computer-Aided Arabic Learning from theoretical, technological, and implementive aspects published from 2015 to 2025. Key findings show that Computer-Aided Arabic Learning, supported by frameworks such as Computer-Assisted Language Learning and Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge, significantly improves students' motivation and learning outcomes. Modern apps have evolved from just tools to adaptive tutors, characterized by the ability of apps to continuously analyze user learning data and personalize materials, difficulty levels, and feedback, rather than simply presenting the same static exercises for all students and often leveraging gamification and artificial intelligence to create personalized learning experiences. However, its effectiveness is limited by substantial challenges, including infrastructure gaps, educators' digital competence, limitations of formal evaluations for productive skills (speaking and writing), and the linguistic complexity of Arabic that has not been fully addressed by current technology. Computer-Aided Arabic Learning is a powerful pedagogical accelerator, but its potential can only be maximized through a strategic approach that integrates technology development with educator capacity building and the adoption of blended learning models. Synergy between academic innovation and practical implementation is needed to overcome existing challenges and realize the full potential of technology in Arabic language education.
