Abstract

Currently there are 38 smartphone applications for parents in monitoring the growth and development of children (toddlers) on the Google Playstore, but until now there has not been a single application recommendation that parents must install and there has been no systematic assessment of application quality during use. Of the 38 applications, a selection was made using several criteria and 11 applications met the criteria for further evaluation. This study aims to assess the quality of children's growth and development applications (falling) objectively with the method used, namely the Mobile Application Rating Scale (MARS) which has been validated with 5 subscales namely involvement, functionality, aesthetics, information, and subjective quality. The relationship between overall application quality and user ratings and the number of downloads was evaluated by three assessors, namely application users for more than one year, ordinary users who have just downloaded the application, and coders (parties from the puskesmas). The results of the research from 11 applications that meet the criteria, the average MARS score of the application is 3.5. Although there are many smartphone applications that parents can download, there are three recommended applications, namely About Children. My Prima, and Pregnant Friends. The About Children application has the highest MARS score of 4.36, this application has received a perfect rating of 5.0 since it was officially developed in 2017. The About Children application has been downloaded more than 500 thousand and was developed jointly with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and also the BKKBN.

Abstract

Innovation in transportation, such as online transportation booking applications and electric vehicles are phenomena caused by the development of information technology. But, the likes of traffic safety and complex transportation system integration are some obstacles that still need to be addressed. This research aims to design a Mobile-Based Electric Bicycle Rental System using Unified Modeling Language (UML) in order to increase efficiency and convenience. A Qualitative Research Method is used to analyze the Business Process. The System Analysis stage involves identification, determining requirements, and systematic study to ensure design compliance or suitability. The System Designing stage covers creating structured UML Model, Database Design, determining Table Structure, and developing a User Interface. This study’s result presents a comprehensive design of the Electric Bicycle Rental System, reflected by well-structured UML Diagrams, efficient Database Design and an intuitive User Interface. This System is expected to be an innovative solution to conquer efficiency and convenience hurdles in renting an Electric Bicycle.

Abstract

Inclusive education aims to provide equal learning opportunities for students with special needs, including the use of a Learning Management System (LMS). The urgency of this research stems from the significant challenges in LMS accessibility, which pose major obstacles for students with disabilities. These challenges include difficult navigation, a lack of screen reader features, and unfriendly interface design. The objectives of the research are to identify and evaluate the factors of LMS acceptance by students with disabilities and provide recommendations. The method uses the Extended Technology Acceptance Model (E-TAM) to identify factors influencing the acceptance of LMS by students with disabilities, such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and external factors. The findings indicate that System Quality (SQ) has no significant influence on Attitude Toward Using (AT), with the estimated effect size being 1.4%. As an implication, the institutions need to provide easy-to-follow guides to help users with disabilities.

Abstract

Classifying the sweetness level of pineapples is an important part of quality control, but existing methods still face issues of subjectivity and require destructive testing. Manual assessment is often inconsistent, while refractometer measurements require cutting the fruit open. Single-view computer vision offers a non-destructive alternative, yet its performance remains limited because visual cues related to sweetness appear on different sides of the fruit. This study introduces Multi-View Fusion YOLO (MVF-YOLO), a model that combines five viewpoints (full, front, left, right, and back) through an attention mechanism to perform adaptive sweetness classification. The dataset consists of 570 pineapples with TSS/TA ratios as the ground truth, producing 2,850 images grouped into three categories: sour (TSS/TA 10–20), ideal (TSS/TA 20–30), and very sweet (TSS/TA >30). MVF-YOLO achieved an mAP@0.5 of 82.1% and an overall accuracy of 84.2%, outperforming the single-view baseline by 14.3%. Attention weight analysis indicates that the full view contributes the most (0.267). With an inference time of 45.8 ms per fruit, the model is sufficiently efficient for use by farmers, distributors, and consumers. The results demonstrate that a multiview approach enhanced with learned attention can significantly improve sweetness classification accuracy without compromising computational efficiency.

Abstract

Academic credential fraud poses a critical challenge to Indonesian higher education, with approximately 30% of job applicants providing false academic qualifications while conventional verification processes require 2–4 weeks with significant administrative costs. This research addresses the gap where 77% of blockchain education research remains conceptual by proposing and evaluating a four-layer blockchain system architecture for academic diploma authentication. Using Design Science Research Methodology (DSRM), the study designs and implements a layered architecture comprising a Presentation Layer (React 18.2.0 with client-side SHA-256 hashing), Application Layer (Node.js 18.20.8 with Web3.js), Data Layer (PostgreSQL 14.5 for off-chain metadata), and Blockchain Layer (DiplomaValidator smart contract in Solidity 0.8.19 on Ganache 2.7.1). The architectural design enforces separation of concerns, enabling tamper-evident credential storage through immutable on-chain hash registration and trustless public verification through zero-gas view functions. Comprehensive evaluation through 38 functional tests, performance benchmarking, security auditing, and integration testing demonstrates 100% pass rate across all categories. Performance metrics show registration in 15.23 ms (240,082 gas units) and verification in 9.47 ms at zero gas cost, achieving 51.81 TPS throughput. Security audit yields 95/100 with zero high or medium vulnerabilities. The primary contribution of this research is a formally documented four-layer blockchain architecture for academic credential authentication validated through DSRM providing a replicable architectural model and quantified performance baselines for the Computer Science community and Indonesian higher education institutions considering blockchain adoption
