Abstract

In recent decades, reproductive health research has expanded significantly with growth in the number of scientific publications. This trend indicates an increased interest in understanding critical aspects affecting fertility, pregnancy problems, reproductive technologies, and their impact on women's and men's reproductive health. Bibliometric analysis is a powerful tool to understand changes in research trends, collaboration between researchers, and the impact of publications in the reproductive health domain. This study aims to analyze recent developments in reproductive health research through a bibliometric approach. The research method utilizes bibliometric analysis of leading journal databases to identify research trends, collaboration, and impact in the reproductive health domain. The results showed a significant increase in the number of publications related to reproductive health over the last few decades. Key findings include a research focus on risk factors such as diet, environment and lifestyle that affect fertility and the impact of new medical technologies on fertility treatments. In addition, cross-disciplinary collaboration is an important trend, combining fields such as medical science, psychology and social science to better understand the dynamics of reproductive health. In conclusion, this bibliometric analysis confirms the need for a holistic approach in reproductive health research. Cross-disciplinary collaboration is key to expanding understanding of the factors that influence reproductive health and to developing more effective prevention and intervention strategies. This study provides a foundation for future research planning in an effort to improve global reproductive health.

Abstract

Bladder dysfunction is a frequent health problem faced by many individuals around the world. Biofeedback therapy has become an increasingly commonly used approach to address these disorders, focusing on improving pelvic muscle control and body awareness. However, few studies have specifically evaluated the effectiveness of biofeedback therapy in addressing impaired bladder function, especially in specific populations. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of biofeedback therapy in addressing bladder dysfunction in adults with incontinence or urinary retention. This study used a randomized controlled clinical research design. They were randomly divided into two groups, an intervention group that received biofeedback therapy for 8 weeks, and a control group that received no additional intervention. Measurements were made using standardized clinical evaluation scales and objective measurements of urine volume. The results of this study showed that the intervention group receiving biofeedback therapy had significant improvements in pelvic muscle control, incontinence frequency, and volume of retained urine resolved compared to the control group. This improvement was also maintained in the follow-up period after 3 months of intervention. The conclusion of this study is that biofeedback therapy is proven to be effective in overcoming bladder function disorders in adult individuals with complaints of urinary incontinence or retention. This approach can be an effective and sustainable treatment option to improve the quality of life and well-being of individuals affected by bladder dysfunction. Further research is needed to explore more deeply the mechanisms and factors that influence the effectiveness of biofeedback therapy in different cases of bladder function disorders.

Abstract

Mental health is a vital aspect of an individual's well-being that has a direct impact on their quality of life. However, there are still many patients who experience mental health problems that are undiagnosed or not well-managed. Therefore, mental health education programs are important to improve understanding and management of patients' mental health conditions. This study aims to evaluate the effect of mental health education programs on improving patients' quality of life. With a focus on understanding their condition, stress management abilities, and skills in dealing with daily challenges related to mental health. The research method used is quantitative and qualitative with a prospective intervention study. Data was collected through questionnaires. The results of this study indicate an increase in patients' understanding of their mental health conditions, as well as an improvement in their ability to manage stress and related daily challenges. Apart from that, the patient's quality of life also improves after participating in the mental health education program. The conclusion of this research is that mental health education programs have a positive impact on the quality of life of patients with mental health disorders. Increased understanding, stress management skills, and feelings of ability to face daily challenges help patients feel more able to manage their mental health conditions more effectively, which in turn improves their overall quality of life. This research provides a strong basis for continuing and developing mental health education programs as an integral part of the care of patients with mental health disorders. It is hoped that ongoing efforts in outreach and education about mental health will strengthen understanding and support for patients, as well as improve their clinical outcomes and quality of life in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The elderly patient population is vulnerable to various chronic diseases and has limited levels of access to health information. Effective health promotion programs can improve the quality of life of this group and prevent disease. A health promotion program is a series of activities aimed at increasing awareness, knowledge and healthy behaviour in a population or community. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of a health promotion program implemented with elderly patients in clinical practice in improving their knowledge, healthy living behaviour and health outcomes. This research method was carried out using a quasi-experimental design using a sample of elderly patients who participated in a six-month health promotion program at a community health clinic. Data collection was carried out through pre- and post-intervention questionnaires, and data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing. The results of this study show an increase in patient knowledge about healthy eating patterns, physical activity, and stress management after participating in the health promotion program. In addition, there have been positive changes in healthy lifestyle behaviour and a reduction in the number of visits to health facilities due to diseases related to unhealthy lifestyles. The conclusion of this research is that health promotion programs for elderly patients in clinical practice are effective in increasing knowledge, improving healthy living behaviour, and reducing the risk of chronic disease. The recommendations of this study are to expand the scope of health promotion programs in various clinical settings and continue to encourage the participation of elderly patients to achieve optimal health outcomes.
