Abstract

This study aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model in Pancasila Education learning in class IV SDN 11 Ampang, Padang City. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using a qualitative and quantitative approach which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects in this study were teachers and students of class IV SDN 11 Ampang totaling 15 people in the January-June semester of the 2024/2025 academic year. The research data are in the form of observations of teaching modules, observations of teacher and student activities, and student learning outcomes using the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model. Data collection techniques are in the form of observation analysis, tests and non-tests. The results of observations of planning cycle I were 88.27% (B), increasing in cycle II to 95.31% (SB). The results of observations of teacher aspects in cycle I were 85.71% (B), increasing in cycle II to 96.42% (SB). The results of observations of student aspects in cycle I were 82.14% (B), increasing in cycle II to 96.42% (SB). Student learning outcomes in cycle I were 78.30% (C), increasing in cycle II to 87.88% (B). Research shows that the Team Games Tournament (TGT) model can improve student learning outcomes in Civic Education learning in the fourth grade of SDN 11 Ampang Kota Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila Education learning using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class V SDN 01 Asam Kumbang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) using qualitative and quantitative approaches, which is implemented in two cycles, namely cycle I (two meetings) and cycle II (one meeting) carried out in four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class V SDN 01 Asam Kumbang Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan with a total of 19 students, 8 boys and 11 girls. The results of this study showed an increase in the teaching module cycle I with an average of 85.41% (Good) and cycle II 95.83 (Very Good). Assessment of teacher activity cycle I with an average of 82.14% (Good) and cycle II 96.42% (Very Good). Assessment of student activity cycle I with an average of 82.14% (Good) and cycle II 96.42% (Very Good). Assessment of students in improving learning outcomes in cycle I obtained 74.94% and cycle II with an average of 85.76%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve learning outcomes of Pancasila Education in grade V.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective Articulate Storyline 3 application-based learning media to be used in the learning process in elementary schools. The type of research used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The data collected includes the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The results of validation by experts showed a validity rate of 100% from subject matter experts, 97.7% from media experts, and 84.4% from linguists, with an average of 94.03% in the "very valid" category. The practicality test by the teacher showed a result of 90% at SDN 15 Koto Lalang, 93.33% at SDN 10 Bandar Buat, and 93.33% at SDN 14 Koto Lalang, with an average of 92.22% (categorized as 'very practical'). Meanwhile, the practicality test by the students showed results of 94.33%, 96.16%, and 95.13%, with an average of 94.33% (categorized as 'very practical'). The effectiveness test through N-Gain calculation showed a significant improvement in learning outcomes, namely 0.66 (categorized as 'sufficiently effective') at SDN 15 Koto Lalang, as well as 0.77 (categorized as 'effective') at SDN 10 Bandar Buat and SDN 14 Koto Lalang. Thus, the developed learning media is declared valid, practical, and effective in supporting the learning process at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik terpadu yang terlihat dari hasil belajar peserta didik yang rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memaparkan penggunaan model Problem Based Learning guna meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas V SD Negeri 03 Koto Tangah. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama proses belajar mengajar berlangsung di kelas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitiannya yaitu sebagai berikut: a) RPP siklus I dengan rata-rata skor 83,3% (B) dan siklus II 94,4% (SB); b) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran aktivitas pendidik siklus I 82,1% (C), dan siklus II 96,4% (SB); c) aktivitas peserta didik pada siklus I 82,1% (C), dan siklus II 92,8% (B). Hasil belajar peserta didik sebagai berikut: a) Sikap, siklus I pertemuan 1 terdapat 3 orang berperilaku postif menonjol, adapun pada siklus I pertemuan 2 terdapat 6 orang peserta didik, dan semakin meningkat pada siklus II dengan 8 orang peserta didik; b) Pengetahuan, siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 83,3 (B) dan siklus II 92,4 (A); dan c) Keterampilan, siklus I diperoleh rata-rata 82,5 (C) dan siklus II 89,4 (B). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil belajar peserta didik yang masih rendah, hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih dominan bersifat satu arah dan guru kurang menerapkan variasi model pembelajaran tertentu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS menggunakan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) di kelas IV SDN 22 Baringin Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Pendekatan yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, siklus I terdiri dari dua kali pertemuan dan siklus II terdiri dari 1 kali pertemuan. Pada setiap siklus melibatkan empat tahap yaitu tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek dari penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas IV SDN 22 Baringin Kabupaten Tanah Datar yang berjumlah 20 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan pada : a) modul ajar siklus I dengan rata-rata 87,45% (B) dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 96,42% (SB); b) pelaksanaan pada aspek aktivitas guru pada siklus I dengan rata-rata 85,71% (B) dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 96,42% (SB); c) hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus I dengan rata-rata 77,25 (C) dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 90,5 (SB). Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran IPAS.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know correlations between problem-solving ability with mathematics learning result for 4th grade students at public elementary school 27 in Padang city for the 2017/2018 academic year. The type of this research is correlations. The population of the research is all 4th grade students of SD N 27 Sungai Sapih was 42 students, then 21 students as sample. The data analysis using simple linear regression analysis. the research result shows that correlation coefficient of 0,7036. in interval 0,70 ≤ r > 0,90 with a degree of strong or high corrrelations. It means 0,7036 have a strong or high  correlations. Then the result of significant correlation coefficient with α = 0,05 showed  and . Because . It means that  is accepted.Keywords: Problem Solving Ability; Learning Result.

Abstract

This study aims to describing the improvement of thematic learning process by using scientific approach in Grade 2 Elementary School of 12 Bukik Cangang at Bukittinggi cityi. This research used qualitative and quantitative approach. This research was classroom action research and had two cycles. The research subject was a teacher and 26 students of Grade II Elementary School of 12 Bukik Cangang Kota Bukittinggi.  The  study’s results shows the increasing in: Lesson plan of the first cycle is meeting 1 is 75%  (enaugh), meeting 2 is 81,25% (good),  and  the second  cycle meeting 1 is 97,22% (very  good). Teacher’s activities in first cycle meeting 1 is 65,63%  (enaugh), meeting 2 is 84,37% (good), the second cycle meeting 1 is 96,87% (very good). Student’s activities in first cycle meeting 1 is 56,25%  (less), meeting 2 is 81,25%  (good),  the  second  cycle meeting 1 is 93,75% (very good).the average of classin first cycle is 70,67, meeting 2 is 80,38, and the second cycle is 90,24. Therefore, the scientifict method can increase the integrated thematic learning at elementary school. Keywords : Integrated Thematic, Scientific Approach.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the research was to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in Civics learning with the Process Skill Approach in the fifth grade of SDN 10 Sungai Limau, Padang Pariaman Regency. This type of research is Class Action Research using a qualitative and quantitative approach with procedures for planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research instruments were in the form of observation sheets and items. Conducted in Semester II of 2017/2018 Academic Year. The research subjects were teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and fifth grade students as many as 15 students. The results of the first cycle of research on lesson plans averaged 80.35% (good), increased in the second cycle to 93% (very good). The implementation of the first cycle on the teacher aspect averaged 79.25% (enough), increased in the second cycle to 95.83% (very good). Implementation of the first cycle on the aspect of students on average 71% (sufficient), increased in the second cycle to 91.67% (very good). Student learning outcomes in the first cycle averaged 74 (enough), increased in the second cycle to 85 (good). It can be concluded the Skill Approach The process shows that it can improve student learning outcomes in science learning in schools Basic.Keywords: Process Skills Approach, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by integrated thematic learning that has not been well implemented, still in the process of being perfected. The purpose of this study, to improve the integrated thematic learning process using the Discovery Learning model. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was conducted in the second semester of the 2019/2020 school year at SDN 22 Ujung Gurun Padang City. The results showed an increase in: (1) the learning plan that is cycle I gained a percentage of 81.25% (Good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 96.87% (Very Good). (2) the aspect of the first cycle teachers obtained a percentage of 86.94% (Good), the second cycle obtained a percentage of 96.875% (Very Good). (3) Aspects of students in cycle I obtained a percentage of 86.94% (Good), cycle II obtained a percentage of 96.875% (Very Good). (4) Knowledge and skill aspects of cycle I with an average of 81.07 increased in cycle II with an average of 88.19. It can be concluded that the Discovery Learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in Elementary Schools.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the increase of the learning process by using the Problem Based Learning model on integrated thematic learning. This type of research is classroom action research using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The study was conducted at SDN 22 Ujung Gurun Padang city. The results of the study aimed: (1) The evaluation of learning plans in cycle I  was 79.16% (good) then increased to 97.2% (very good) in cycle II. (2) Observations on the aspect of teacher cycle I  with a percentage of 81.24% (good) increased in cycle II  to 95.83% (very good). (3) Aspects of cycle I  students with a percentage of 81.24% (good) increased in cycle II  to 95.83% (very good). It can be concluded that the problem based learning model can improve the integrated thematic learning process in elementary schools.
