Abstract

This study aims to determine and understand how to implement and implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) based on Songkabala Culture. The study was conducted in October 2023 at the Chocolicious company located in Makassar City. This study is a qualitative study with a case study approach. The data source used is primary data obtained from interviews and observations. The data analysis used is triangulation of data sources consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Chocolicious has implemented CSR. The company emphasizes that CSR is an activity or concept carried out by the company which then they are responsible for the social/environmental environment where the company is located. The company carries out its business activities in a more integrated manner, both between the company's goals as a business venture, harmonious relations with society, nature and God

Abstract

Pertanian memainkan peran krusial dalam ketahanan pangan untuk mendukung kehidupan masyarakat. Tujuan kegiatan ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam praktik pertanian ramah lingkungan melalui pupuk organik padat menggunakan mikronutrien. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat berupa sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik menggunakan mikronutrien dilaksanakan di kelompok tani Tani “Malawo Sejahtera” Kelurahan Jamaimo, Kabupaten Sorong dengan jumlah petani yang berperan aktif sebanyak 18 orang. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, tingkat pengetahuan peserta mengenai dampak dan kekurangan penggunaan pupuk anorganik meningkat signifikan dari 10% (pre-test) menjadi 85% (post-test). Selain itu, keterampilan masyarakat dalam pembuatan pupuk organik berbasis mikronutrien juga menunjukkan peningkatan tajam, yaitu dari 15% menjadi 88%. Peningkatan ini mencerminkan efektivitas metode pelatihan partisipatif yang digunakan, yang menggabungkan penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan praktik langsung. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini, diharapkan masyarakat dapat menerapkan alternatif pertanian berkelanjutan yang lebih sehat bagi lingkungan dan mendukung kemandirian lokal dalam pengelolaan input pertanian.

Abstract

This community service iitiative aims to develop an eco-friedly product utilizing local natural resources, specifically Avicenna marina mangrove leaves as raw material for candle production. The innovattion is driven by the ecological and economic potential of mangrove plants, which have not yet been optimally utilized, alongside the need for alternative income sources for coastal communities. The implementation method includes literature review, processing mangrove leaves through boiling and mixing with basic candle materials, production training for coastal residents and mentoring of small-scale environmentally based enterprises.The results of the activity indicate that the candles produced have stable flame performance, a natural aroma and aesthetically appealing qualities suitable for commercial sale. This program serves as an inital step in developing a creative economy model based on mangrove ecosystes, which can be replicated in other coastal regions. Through a collaborative and sustainable approach, this initiative demonstrates that environmental conservation and social empowerment can go hand in hand.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether there was an effect of the science process skills approach to understanding the concept of physics in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sirenja. The type of research used was a quasi-experimental design with the equivalent, pretest-posttest design. The sample was selected using purposive sampling technique. Class VIIIA as the experimental class was treated using the science process skills approach and class VIIIB as the control class which was treated using the expository approach. The instrument used was a test of understanding the concept of physics in the form of multiple choice which had been tested. Based on the results of data processing, for the experimental class the mean final test score was 16.04 with a classical completeness value of 66.83% with a standard deviation of 4.18. For the control class, the mean final test score was 12.09 with a classical completeness value of 50.38% with a standard deviation of 4.66. From the results of data analysis, t-count> t-table, this indicated that the Hypothesis H1 is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of the science process skills approach to understanding the concept of physics in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Sirenja.

Abstract

The advancement of technology has influenced learning activities, including through the Flipped Classroom model, where students study independently at home and class time is used for discussion and collaboration. Teacher understanding and readiness are critical to its success. This study aims to analyze the level of understanding among elementary, junior, and senior high school teachers in South and West Sulawesi regarding the concept, challenges, and classroom implementation of the Flipped Classroom model. A descriptive quantitative method with a survey approach was applied, involving 49 randomly selected teachers. Data were analyzed using the Rasch model to identify the distribution and trends of teacher understanding. The results show that teacher understanding of the Flipped Classroom model is generally high and evenly distributed across demographic groups. These findings provide insight into designing more effective learning strategies across educational levels.

Abstract

Pendidikan seks untuk remaja membahas seputar gambaran biologi organ reproduksi, masalah hubungan, seksualitas, kesehatan reproduksi, dan penyakit menular seksual. Penyebab permasalahan remaja yang utama adalah kurangnya informasi yang benar terkait seks, begitupun pada siswa remaja di SMA N 3 Klaten belum mendapat sosialisasi terkait pendidikan seks. Maka dari itu perlu dilakukan penelitian tentang bagaimana gambaran pengetahuan remaja tentang pendidikan seks. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui gambaran pengetahuan remaja tentang pendidikan seks. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 200 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah metode non probability sampling dengan pendekatan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menggambarkan jenis kelamin didominasi oleh perempuan sejumlah 128 responden (64%), usia 16 tahun sejumlah 141 responden (70.5%), pekerjaan orang tua buruh 73 responden (36.5%). Responden yang memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang pendidikan seks sejumlah 165 responden (82.5%), cukup sejumlah 30 responden (15%), dan kurang sejumlah 5 responden (2.5%). Kesimpulan penelitian tentang Gambaran Pengetahuan Remaja Tentang Pendidikan Seks adalah berpengetahuan baik yaitu 165 responden (82.5%).

Abstract

The community service program was designed to raise collective awareness of bullying while fostering a more positive school environment. The program was implemented through needs assessment, collaboration with schools, and the delivery of educational materials using visual aids, interactive discussions, games, and edutainment activities. The results indicate an increased understanding among students of the forms and impacts of bullying, greater willingness to share personal experiences in safe discussion spaces, and the internalization of values such as empathy, cooperation, and respect for diversity. Active student engagement was further supported by teachers and school leaders, who affirmed that the program aligned with existing character education efforts. In conclusion, although not supported by quantitative data, this participatory approach proved effective in enhancing anti-bullying awareness and encouraging a collective commitment to building a sustainable and conducive learning culture.

Abstract

Model discovery learning dianggap efektif dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang aktif dan kreatif, di mana siswa diberikan kesempatan untuk menemukan konsep-konsep melalui eksplorasi dan eksperimen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman guru terhadap model pembelajaran berbasis penemuan (discovery learning) di Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode survei yang melibatkan 146 guru SMA di Sulawesi Selatan yang mengajar dengan Kurikulum Merdeka. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner berbasis skala Likert, yang mengukur pemahaman guru terhadap konsep, implementasi, dan tantangan dalam penerapan model discovery learning. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model Rasch untuk memastikan validitas dan reliabilitas instrumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas guru memiliki pemahaman yang baik terhadap discovery learning, meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan yang dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor demografis seperti jenis kelamin, usia, dan wilayah sekolah. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan penting bagi perancangan pelatihan profesional guru yang lebih kontekstual dan responsif terhadap kebutuhan lokal, serta mengidentifikasi potensi perbaikan pada instrumen pengukuran pemahaman guru terhadap model discovery learning.

Abstract

Fenomena Perilaku Bulyying dan kekerasan seksual yang kini marak terjadi pada lingkungan sekolah menjadi sebuah fenomena sosial yang kini melanda anak-anak dan remaja Indonesia. Dalam catatan FSGI, 3 dosa besar di pendidikan adalah istilah sekaligus bentuk pengakuan negara melalui Mendikbud Nadiem Makarim bahwa, di pendidikan masih terus terjadi berbagai bentuk kekerasan, yaitu Perundungan, Kekerasan Seksual dan Intoleransi. Bahkan, KemendikbudRistek. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka dianggap penting untuk dilakukan desiminasi pada lingkungan siswa yang focus atau target utamanya adalah siswa SMP IT Anugrah Hidayah untuk membimbing dan memberikan wawasan terhadap siswa terkait Gambaran umum dan Upaya pencegahan perilaku-perilaku menyimpang seperti perilaku bullying, dan kekerasan seksual sebagai bentuk penguatan karakter berbasis nilai-nilai Pancasila Metode yang digunakan dalam kegitan pengabdian Masyarakat ini adalah observasi,seminar, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan pengabdian mayarakat ini menambah pengetahuan bagi siswa dan guru terkait jenis-jenis perilaku bullying dan kekerasan seksual, dan upaya pencegahannya.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning outcomes of students in the Basic Physics course implemented through a contextual approach. This approach was applied to connect physics concepts with real-world situations in order to enhance students’ conceptual understanding. The research employed a quantitative descriptive method involving 62 students from the Geography Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, State University of Makassar, as research subjects. Data were collected through an essay-type achievement test that assessed conceptual mastery and the ability to apply physics principles. The results showed that 11.29% of students were in the “very good” category, 32.26% in the “good” category, 24.19% in the “fair” category, 19.35% in the “poor” category, and 12.90% in the “very poor” category. These findings indicate that the majority of students achieved results ranging from good to fair, demonstrating the effectiveness of the contextual approach in improving learning outcomes. The contextual approach helps non-physics students bridge the gap between theory and reality while shifting their learning paradigm from passive to active and reflective. Through direct experiences and analysis of environmental phenomena, students are better able to construct knowledge and develop interdisciplinary scientific thinking skills.
