Abstract

Upon identifying issues in the responsibilities and operations of the Bondowoso Regency Regional Secretariat, it is evident that numerous activity programmes have not met the anticipated realisation targets. This suggests that the personnel of the Bondowoso Regency Regional Secretariat are not performing at their best. This research aims to directly and indirectly analyse the impact of performance allowances and job promotions on enhancing work performance, with work motivation serving as an intervening variable at the Bondowoso Regency Regional Secretariat. This study consisted of 197 samples. The analysis method employed was Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) with WarpPLS 7.0. The data analysis results indicate that the performance allowance and job promotion variables have a significant impact on work motivation and performance. Performance allowances and job promotions have a major impact on work performance by influencing work motivation as an intervening factor. Data analysis results indicate that the variables performance allowance, work motivation, and promotion have a partial significant impact on work performance at the Bondowoso Regency Regional Secretariat. Abstract

A survey on job satisfaction among local government employees in Situbondo Regency revealed concerns about limited promotion opportunities and lack of involvement in the promotion process for some workers. Job satisfaction is influenced by various interconnected factors, including work environment, workload, and job stress. This study aimed to examine the direct and indirect effects of work environment and workload on job satisfaction, with job stress as an intervening variable, in the Situbondo Regency Government. The total population who became respondents in this study were 61 respondents. Since this figure represents the complete research sample, saturation sampling (census) is the sampling strategy used and employed structural equation modeling (SEM). Results indicated that both work environment and workload significantly impacted job stress and job satisfaction. However, job stress was not found to have a significant effect on job satisfaction. Additionally, the study concluded that work environment and workload, when mediated by job stress, did not significantly influence job satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of employee training and competence on performance, both directly and through the role of work discipline as a mediating variable. This study is based on the problem of employee performance which has not met the expected target, characterized by a lack of work discipline and low efficiency in completing tasks. This study involved 56 respondents and used a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through questionnaires, and analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with the WarpPLS program. The results showed that training had an effect on employee work discipline and performance. Employee competence also had an effect on employee work discipline and performance. Work discipline as a mediating variable showed an indirect effect on performance, although its contribution was smaller than the direct effect of employee training and competence. The total effect of training on performance was 0.745, while the total effect of competence was 0.372. The implication of this study is the importance of organizations to improve relevant and sustainable training and develop employee competence development programs. Work discipline also needs to be strengthened through policies that encourage an organized work culture, such as providing incentives and effective supervision. With this strategy, it is expected that employee performance can be improved and organizational targets can be achieved optimally.

Abstract

With the development of information technology, the need for fast information becomes crucial for government attention. The formation of the Community Information Group (KIM) is a solution to increase public knowledge. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence and support of the organization on the performance of the management of the Community Information Group (KIM) in Jember Regency through affective commitment. This study uses descriptive and verification methods with a quantitative approach. The research sample was 168 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques from a total population of 672 KIM managers. Data was collected through questionnaires, observations, documentation, and interviews. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the WarpPLS 8.0 program. The results showed that the minimum work and organizational support significantly affected KIM members' performance and affective commitment. Work flexibility allows members to manage their time and work methods more efficiently, increasing productivity and emotional commitment to the organization. Organizational support improves performance by providing the necessary resources and strengthening members' emotional ties to common goals. Both factors, both directly and through affective commitment, encourage KIM members to work optimally and effectively. The practical implications of this study emphasize the importance of implementing more adaptive work policies to increase alertness and strengthen organizational support through adequate training, resource provision, and rewards. This will create a supportive and empowering work environment, resulting in members who are not only high performers but also have loyalty and dedication to achieving common goals.

Abstract

Relating to one type of educational institution, namely schools, currently there are still many schools/madrasas that have difficulty accepting new students, which has an impact on the minimum number of students entering these schools/madrasas. This phenomenon cannot be separated from the growth of new educational institutions, as well as changes in government policy in accepting new students for state schools such as zoning pathways, achievement pathways, independent pathways and other pathways. This has an impact on the ability of private schools/madrasahs in villages in particular, to become a destination or choice for prospective new students to receive education. Based on this, strategies are needed to increase public interest in schools or institutions. The strategy is "School Branding". School branding in offering its institution to prospective students. The concept of school branding is related to brand image, namely as an image displayed by schools/madrasahs to potential customers, namely students and parents (Rizkiyah et al., 2020). The image of the school/madrasah must be able to be displayed in a straightforward and firm manner as a supporting factor in the process of accepting new students, so that they are interested in registering at the school/madrasah. So to develop this strategy, training is needed to build the school's image

Abstract

This research is motivated by several gaps or differences in research results with expert opinions, also supported by data on research problems, namely based on the results of employee performance evaluations in 2020 which were less than optimal, where the realization of performance achievements did not reach 90 at the end of the fiscal year. Evaluation data for filling out the E-application Performance shows that as many as 38% or about 900 employees do not fill in e-Kinerja to 100%. So the phenomenon of this research is the lack of effectiveness of employee performance in increasing competence, especially in the use of IT-based e-performance. The total population of this study was 2,405 employees, while the number of samples was 168 using purposive sampling technique. Abstract

This study examines the positive and significant effect of social media marketing, online customer reviews, and e-SERVQUAL on purchase decisions through trust. This study is quantitative research. The whole population is Bekam Therapy Center’s customers. The sample is 104 customers. The data collection method was carried out by distributing questionnaires online. WarpPLS 7.0 was used as a data analysis method to identify and estimate the relationship between variables. The variables consist of social media marketing (X1), online customer review (X2), e-SERVQUAL (X3), purchase decision (Y), and trust (Z). The result shows that; 1) Social media marketing does not have a direct positive effect on purchase decisions but does influence trust, 2) Online customer reviews positively affect purchase decisions and trust, 3) E-SERVQUAL has a significant positive effect on both purchase decisions and trust, 4) Trust significantly influences purchase decisions. 5) The mediating role of trust is evident in the relationship between social media marketing and purchase decisions, and e-SERVQUAL and purchase decisions, but not between online customer reviews and purchase decisions.
