Abstract

The examination of pedagogy is crucial due to its substantial influence on educational learning frameworks. Digital advancements profoundly affect pedagogical methodologies. Consequently, comprehensive investigations regarding pedagogical research trends in the digital era over the past ten years are essential. A bibliometric analysis seeks to delineate research pertaining to pedagogy within the digital context. Data is sourced from the Scopus database, focusing on educational and digital subjects, specifically through queries of "Pedagogical," "E-learning," and "Education" in English, encompassing published articles. The data extraction yielded 1,996 articles for subsequent analysis. Findings indicate a notable surge in research publications from 2014 to 2024. The United States leads in the volume of publications related to e-Learning pedagogy. VOSViewer facilitates the aggregation of prevalent keywords, revealing four distinct clusters. Prominent keywords identified include "Pedagogy," "E-learning," and "Education”.

Abstract

Ibn Khaldun, in his Muqaddimah, explained that the cycle of civilizational rise and decline is determined by the strength of ‘asabiyyah. Although various studies have examined the relevance of ‘asabiyyah, particularly within contemporary Muslim societies, the relationship between modernization processes and civilizational collapse within the framework of ‘asabiyyah remains largely underexplored. This study aims to analyze the relevance of ‘asabiyyah in understanding the dynamics of modern civilizations, specifically investigating the impact of capitalism, globalization, and technological advancement on the potential for civilizational decline, using the historical cases of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative approach through a literature review of books and national and international journal articles focusing on ‘asabiyyah. Data were collected through systematic and selective searches across leading databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, and Scopus. Data analysis was conducted using meta-analysis techniques to identify major themes, compare arguments, and construct a theoretical synthesis from various sources. The findings of this study indicate that the erosion of ‘asabiyyah can accelerate the internal vulnerabilities of a civilization, as reflected in the historical cases of the Soviet Union and Nazi Germany. The findings of this study underscore the critical importance of strengthening collective identity and social solidarity as prerequisites for the resilience of modern civilizations, while also encouraging comparative studies that integrate Ibn Khaldun’s classical theory with contemporary theories of social solidarity, globalization, and cultural identity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of public understanding and trust levels on low fintech-based financial inclusion in Asahan Regency. The phenomenon of inequality between high digital penetration and low fintech adoption in rural areas is the main research background. The approach used is quantitative with a survey method of 100 respondents spread across 25 sub-districts, using a Likert scale-based questionnaire instrument. Data were analyzed using SmartPLS 4.0 software with the Structural Equation Modeling Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) approach. The results of the study indicate that public understanding and trust have a significant influence on digital financial inclusion. This is proven through hypothesis testing with t-statistic values above 1.96 and p-value <0.05, respectively. The R-Square value of 0.488 indicates that the two independent variables explain almost all of the variation in financial inclusion. These findings strengthen the Technology Acceptance Model theory and consumer trust theory, and emphasize the importance of literacy strategies and consumer protection in supporting financial inclusion. This study also develops a micro index of fintech inclusion based on the dimensions of access, use, and service quality. These findings are expected to be the basis of policies for local governments, regulators, and industry players in expanding inclusive finance in remote areas more effectively

Abstract
