Abstract

Safe, nutritious, quality, diverse and adequately available food is one of the main prerequisite systems in forming a food system that protects health and improves people's welfare. Food security in Indonesia itself is still not implemented optimally and efficiently because the community is still not ready and has no efforts to implement food security for individuals and primary needs at home. Natural potential that can be used as a form of food security is Ganyong Tuber. This tuber can be processed into flour that has a texture like wheat but low in gluten so it is easily digested and very good for health. Because of these various advantages, canna flour can be used as an alternative to wheat flour. By integrating food processing in the climate village program, a close relationship can be created between food security, climate change mitigation, and sustainable development for the Palasari Community.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the andragogical approach, social support, and community participation in accelerating stunting reduction in Sibuak Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency. The objectives of the study are to assess the levels of these three factors and to analyze their influence on stunting reduction efforts. Specifically, the study aims to (1) evaluate the extent of the andragogical approach applied in stunting reduction, (2) measure the level of social support provided, (3) assess the level of community participation, and (4) determine the effects of social support and community participation on the andragogical approach in the context of stunting reduction. To do so, this study employs a quantitative design with a sample of 126 fertile couples from a population of 183 in the village. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to determine central tendencies and inferential statistics to explore relationships between the variables. The results show a significant positive influence of social support on the andragogical approach, accounting for 75.1% of the variance. Community participation also had a significant positive influence, explaining 73.7% of the variance. Additionally, combined social support and community participation had a significant impact on the andragogical approach, with a total effect of 75.3%. The findings suggest that enhancing social support and encouraging community participation are crucial for strengthening the andragogical approach in reducing stunting. These insights can inform policymakers and health practitioners in designing more effective stunting reduction programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh keterbatasan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga belajar program paket C dalam keterampilan tata boga. Sehingga perlu diadakannya pelatihan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pelatihan pendidikan kecakapan hidup melalui keterampilan tata boga pada program paket C. Metode penelitian yang digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Jenis pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Instrument yang digunakan yaitu pedoman observasi dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan tahapan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dalam pelakasanaan pelatihan keterampilan tata boga pada program paket C menjalankan tiga tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan yang meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan belajar, sumber-sumber belajar yang tersedia dan kemungkinan hambatan, menetapkan tujuan dan menyusun kegiatan pelatihan. Tahap kedua yaitu pelaksanaan yang meliputi materi pelatihan, pendekatan pelatihan, metode pelatihan dan teknik pelatihan. Tahap terakhir yaitu evaluasi pelatihan dimana dalam tahap ini mengevaluasi empat unsur yaitu reaction (reaksi), learning (pembelajaran), behavior (perilaku) dan result (dampak/hasil). Simpulannya yaitu pelatihan pendidikan kecakapan hidup melalui keterampilan tata boga berhasil memberikan dampak atau hasil yang positif bagi lembaga yaitu meningkatnya reputasi lembaga di masyarakat. Dampak atau hasil bagi peserta pelatihan yaitu menambah pengetahuan, meningkatkan keterampilan, menjadi lebih mandiri, bisa membuka usaha pada bidang kuliner, dan meningkatkan per ekonomian.

Abstract

Bullying atau sering disebut perundungan adalah suatu perbuatan yang disengaja dilakukan oleh seseorang atau kelompok dengan maksud menimbulkan rasa sakit dan dilakukan secara berulang-ulang, bullying saat ini sangat mengkhawatirkan, sehingga perlu adanya pencegahan terhadap perilaku bullying sejak usia dini. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk memahami peran keluarga dalam mencegah perilaku bullying pada anak usia dini. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu peran keluarga dalam mencegah perilaku bullying pada anak usia dini meliputi: 1) Peran keluarga sebagai modelling: orang tua berperan dalam membangun komunikasi yang baik dan efektif, memberikan keteladanan, dan membentuk nilai moral dan etika. 2) Peran keluarga sebagai mentoring: orang tua berperan dalam menciptakan kedekatan emosional pada anak, serta memberikan pendampingan dan dukungan. 3) Peran keluarga sebagai organizing: orang tua berperan dalam menciptakan kerja sama dalam keluarga, memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga dan meluruskan sistem keluarga. 4) Peran keluarga sebagai teaching: orang tua berperan dalam mengajarkan pendidikan karakter, membangun kepercayaan diri pada anak, juga membimbing dan mendidik anak. Simpulan dalam pencegahan bullying pada anak usia dini adalah peran keluarga terutama orang tua sangat dibutuhkan, maraknya kasus bullying saat ini membuat orang tua harus dengan ekstra dalam melibatkan diri dalam pencegahan bullying pada anak.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemberdayaan dan dampak pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui kelompok tani dalam menunjang pendapatan petani padi kecamatan Cipedes kota Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data dilakukan menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan reduksi data, display data, dan conclusion drawing. Hasil penelitian ini meunjukkan bahwa pemberdayaan masyarakat kelompok tani dalam meningkatkan pendapatan petani padi melalui beberapa indikator antara lain: Pemungkinan, Penguatan, Perlindungan, Penyokongan dan Pemeliharaan. Sedangkan hasil dari pemberdayaan kelompok tani padi dapat meningkatkatkan hasil panen padi yang baik melalui pendampingan Dinas Ketahanan Pangan, Pertanian dan Perikanan membantu memberikan penyuluhan dan pendampingan terhadap kegiatan panen padi ini dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya alam dan sumber daya manusia serta menambah ilmu pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam kegiatan panen padi

Abstract

The problems faced by parents towards their children who have difficulty in providing an understanding of learning in school, so there must be an effort, one of which is through the Sunday Teaching Program initiated by the Community Reading Gardens to improve learning skills in reading, writing and counting (Calistunng). The purpose of this research is to find out the efforts of Taman Bacaan Masyarakat in improving children's literacy and numeracy. The method used in this research is qualitative with descriptive approach. Data collection techniques through observation interviews and documentation. The results of the field findings that the Baitul Mu'minin Community Reading Garden (TBM) in an effort to improve reading, writing and counting skills (calistung) in children through the Sunday Teaching program carry out interesting activities ranging from: (1) activities to read books one sheet per session, (2) free tutoring, (3) attracting children's interest in reading by reading books together, then the book is read by the tutor, (4) creating a comfortable and pleasant learning atmosphere, through the use of learning media, (5) as well as a varied collection of reading books so as to attract children's interest in learning. TBM Baitul Mu'minin handles learning activities with a playful approach and becomes an alternative choice for the community, especially parents, to help their children improve their learning skills. In conclusion, the efforts of community reading garden in improving calistung, the results can help children improve their ability to read, write, count better and increase.

Abstract

Life skills education is crucial for Generation Z growing up in a fast-paced digital era. This journal discusses the unique characteristics of Generation Z, including their dependence on technology, multitasking abilities, and global awareness. However, this generation also faces serious challenges such as moral degradation and loss of identity due to foreign cultural influences. By implementing life skills education that encompasses digital, financial, and cultural literacy, it is hoped that Generation Z can overcome these challenges. Innovative learning methods utilizing technology are essential to enhance their skills and knowledge. Involvement from the government, families, and communities is vital in shaping a positive character that prepares Generation Z for a complex future.

Abstract

This study examines the important roles of the government and society in managing life skills education programs in Indonesia. The objective of the research is to understand the collaboration between both parties in enhancing the effectiveness of these programs. The method employed is a literature study approach, collecting and analyzing various sources of information. The findings indicate that government support in terms of policies, funding and resources, oversight, and evaluation is crucial, while the role of society in participation and cooperation enhances relevance and sustainability. These findings suggest that the synergy between the government and society is key to achieving sustainable and effective life skills education objectives. This study recommends improving communication and collaboration between both parties to optimize program outcomes.
