Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui pengaruh harga dan customer review terhadap keputusan pembelian produk fashion wanita di online marketplace. Populasi yang dipakai ialah masyarakat Surabaya yang pernah melakukan pembelian barang fashion pada online marketplace. Sampel yang dipakai 100 responden dan memakai purposive sampling. Menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda, dan memkai aplikasi SPSS 23. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa harga secara parsial ada pengaruh pada keputusan pembelian produk fashion di online marketplace. Customer review dengan parsial ada pengaruh pada keputusan pembelian prodk fashion di online marketplace serta harga dan customer review dengan simultan memiliki pengaruh pada keputusan pembelian di online marketplace. Abstract

ABSTRAKPenggunaan PhET simulations merupakan alternatif dalam menyampaikan konsep-konsep sains dalam kegiatan pembelajaran IPA. Namun, tidak semua guru dapat mengoperasikan dan merancang kegiatan pembelajaran yang menggunakan PhET simulations. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk mengenalkan serta memberikan pelatihan kepada peserta untuk dapat merancang, serta menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran IPA yang menarik dan menyenangkan melalui penggunaan media PhET simulations. Sasaran pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru sekolah menengah pertama di Kota Sungai Penuh, Jambi. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh, Jambi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan workshop terapan penggunaan teknologi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Kegiatan pelatihan ini berhasil memberikan pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang dibutuhkan tentang penggunaan PhET simulations dan terapannya dalam model pembelajaran di kelas. Pengetahuan dan pengalaman tersebut diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dalam menciptakan pembelajaran fisika yang inovatif dan menyenangkan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama di kota Sungai Penuh. Hasil akhir dari kegiatan pelatihan adalah setiap guru dapat menerapkan media PhET simulations dalam merancang kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini diukur melalui angket dan melalui hasil penilaian peserta melalui tugas terstruktur berupa pembuatan LKPD pembelajaran dengan metode PhET simulations. Kata kunci: laboratorium virtual; pelatihan; pembelajaran fisika; pembelajaran kolaboratif; simulasi   PhET. ABSTRACTThe use of PhET simulations is an alternative way to deliver science concepts in learning activities. However, not every teacher could operate and construct learning activities using PhET simulations. The purpose of this activity is to introduce and provide training to participants to be able to design and create interesting and fun science learning activities using PhET simulations. The target of the training was junior high school teachers in Kerinci, Jambi. The training activity was held at SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Penuh, Jambi. The method was training and workshops on the use of technology in learning. The training has succeeded in providing the knowledge and experience needed on the use of PhET simulations and its application in learning activities. This knowledge and experience are expected to contribute to creating innovative and fun physics learning in Junior High Schools in Sungai Penuh city. The result of the training activities is that every teacher could apply PhET simulations in learning activities in the classroom. The success of this activity is measured through a questionnaire and through the results of the participants' assessment through a structured task in the form of making learning worksheets using the PhET simulation method. Keywords: collaborative learning; PhET simulations; physics learning; training; virtual laboratory.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTekanan zat cair dapat dipelajari melalui percobaan, yang memerlukan alat percobaan untuk mempelajarinya, penggunaan alat percobaan tekanan zat cair sangat minim digunakan di sekolah, hal ini disebabkan para guru belum mengetahuinya, terutama di SMP N 1 kecamatan Jambi luarkota Kabupaten  Muaro Jambi yang menyebabkan kurang optimalnya proses pembelajaran IPA di sekolah tersebut. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk penerapan dan mengadakan pelatihan kepada guru-guru di sekolah tersebut dengan membuat alat percobaan praktikum tekanan zat cair  yang telah didesain oleh dosen dan teknisi di lab fisika universitas Jambi. Pelaksanaan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini terdiri dari beberapa tahap yaitu studi pendahuluan yang terkait dengan analisis situasi di sekolah dan analisis permasalahan mitra, diantaranya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan guru  membuat dan pengguanaan alat percobaan praktikum tekanan zat cair. Program yang dilakukan adalah demonstrasi, dan membuat alat percobaan praktikum tekanan zat cair. Dari hasil pengabdian ini diperoleh tanggapan dari guru bahwa guru sangat antusias mengikuti program yang telah dilaksanakan, guru telah dapat menggunakan alat percobaan praktikum tekanan zat cair. Kata kunci: alat percobaan praktikum; tekanan zat cair; SMPN 1 Muaro Jambi. ABSTRACTLiquid pressure can be studied through experiments, which require experimental equipment to study it. The use of liquid pressure experimental equipment is very minimal in schools, this is because teachers don't know about it, especially at SMP N 1, Jambi sub-district, out of town, Muaro Jambi Regency, which causes sub-optimality. science learning process at the school. This community service aims to implement and provide training for teachers at the school by making practical liquid pressure experiment equipment that has been designed by lecturers and technicians in the physics lab at Jambi University. The implementation of this community service consists of several stages, namely preliminary studies related to situation analysis at school and analysis of partner problems, including the teacher's lack of knowledge in making and using liquid pressure practical experiment equipment. The program carried out is a demonstration, and making practical experimental equipment for liquid pressure. From the results of this service, a response was obtained from the teacher that the teacher was very enthusiastic about participating in the program that had been implemented, the teacher was able to use the liquid pressure practical experiment equipment. Keywords: practical experimental equipment; liquid pressure; State Junior High School 1 Muaro Jambi.

Abstract

In physics education research, the success of implementing the project-based learning model is typically assessed based on students' learning outcomes. There are very few studies that specifically evaluate the success of implementing the project-based learning model in terms of the process. This is due to the difficulty of assessing the process itself. The aim of this research was to obtain information on the success profile of implementing the Project Based Learning (PBL) model assessed using Supervised Machine Learning. This research used a qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of the research were 60 undergraduate students Jambi University. Data was collected based on the students' success in each stage of PBL. The stages of PBL include 1) project team introduction and planning; 2) initial research phase for information gathering; 3) creation, development, initial evaluation, and prototyping; 4) second research phase; 5) final development stage; and 6) publication of the product or artefact. Every stage of project-based learning is structured using supervised machine learning. This aims to facilitate students' direct involvement in project-based learning in supervised machine learning, enabling teachers to rapidly evaluate and give feedback. The success of project-based learning depends mostly on the precision of the students' group in project design, as indicated by studies. If the planning process is executed well, including tool and material selection, project execution procedures, and good design, students will have no challenges during the product creation stage.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate/determine the value of the laser wavelength produced by He-Ne lasers and Diode lasers using the concept of diffraction at a single slit. The gaps used consist of three types of gaps which have gaps with a width of 0.12 mm, 0.24 mm, and 0.48 mm. Experimental results show that the wavelength of He-Ne laser light ranges from 640 nm to 646 nm. Meanwhile, the wavelength of He-Ne laser light ranges from 640 nm to 686.67 nm. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that it is proven that the wavelength calculated using the single slit diffraction method is in the range of values for lasers that emit red light.

Abstract

This research was conducted to describe the activities of students using Transcript Based Lesson Analysis in Lesson Study on hydrostatic pressure and Pascal's Law class XI at SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi. This type of research was obtained from the results of learning video recordings, observer field notes and documentation. This research was carried out in collaboration with the observer team in each cycle through 3 lesson study stages, namely plan, do, and see. The analysis in this study cannot be carried out directly during learning but through the results of recording all teacher and student activities as well as observations made by the observer. Through this analysis one can see how the application of lesson study based on TCL or SCL in the learning process is TCL or SCL in nature from the many dialogues that arise between the teacher and students, this dialogue in the implementation of cycles I and II is shown in the number of words graph. Based on the results of this study, in cycle I it was seen that the teacher still dominated learning, not many students responded and answered questions given by the teacher. Cycle II in this study learning took place in group discussions where teacher dominance was still visible but better than cycle I because more student responses appeared and some students were active in discussing problem solving. Overall learning in class XI MIPA 2 SMAN 11 Muaro Jambi is categorized as TCL so that the suggestions contained in this study are for teachers to be able to study and design better learning so that they can realize learning that is student centered learning and apply learning with lesson study based on Transcript Based Lesson Analysis

Abstract

Challenges in the digital era require students to have strong digital literacy, especially in utilising technology wisely. This service activity aims to improve the digital literacy skills of students at SMA 2 Batanghari. This includes improving the ability to think critically, creatively and collaborate in the digital space. The method used includes preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. The discussion of digital literacy material aims to build a safe environment and educate students about positive digital media practices. Digital literacy is expected to help students become responsible and wise users of technology. Evaluation assessment was conducted using questionnaires before and after the activity (pretest and posttest). The results of the questionnaire showed that there was an increase in students' digital literacy skills with a medium level N-Gain category. Based on the data obtained, the activities carried out were effective in improving students' understanding and digital literacy skills. This service activity is expected to be a provision in facing technological challenges in the digital era. A deep understanding of the impact of digital media and how to use it is expected to lead learners to be ready to face challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

In the context of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka), emphasis is placed on integrating elements of local wisdom into the learning process to support the development of student profiles aligned with Pancasila principles. Therefore, teachers are expected to prepare instructional materials that incorporate elements of local heritage in line with the Independent Curriculum. However, field observations, particularly in Kota Jambi, indicate that some schools, such as SMPN 17 Kota Jambi, still rely on teaching materials based on the previous curriculum, which do not incorporate local heritage or STEM aspects related to cultural sites. The purpose of this community service activity is to train teachers at SMPN 17 Kota Jambi to develop Independent Curriculum learning tools that integrate local wisdom and STEM aspects using the Muaro Jambi Temple archaeological site as a contextual learning source. Heyzine was utilized in this program to create interactive digital learning modules, enabling teachers to visually and contextually present the cultural significance of the Muaro Jambi Temple site. The method used in this activity is a workshop comprising three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. This training took place on August 29, 2024, at SMPN 17 Kota Jambi. The results of this training indicate that teachers at SMPN 17 Kota Jambi gained a solid understanding of the concepts, techniques, and use of Heyzine in preparing learning tools in line with the Independent Curriculum, thereby enabling more effective integration of local heritage and STEM aspects associated with the Muaro Jambi Temple into the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to knowthe metacognitive awareness of FKIP Physics Education Study Program students at Jambi University. The sample used was a total sample sample technique with 105 students. Metacognitive awareness was measured using Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI) with a set of metacognitive sustainability indicators related to declarative knowledge, procedural knowledge, conditional knowledge, planning, information management strategies, comprehensive monitoring, debugging strategies and evaluating. The total number of questionnaire items was 52 items and data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The most dominant indicators with very good categories are procedural knowledge (54.28%) and conditional knowledge (73.14%), planning (73.3%), understanding of monitoring (67.61%), improvement strategies (77, 77%) and evaluation (60%). Meanwhile the indicator of the strategy of managing information in the good category was 39.04% and very good at 40% and the declarative knowledge indicator in the good category was 43.8%..

Abstract

This study aims to describe the ability of pedagogical content knowledge students of Physics Education Jambi University who take School Field Practices (SFP). This research was a survey research. The population of this research was 85 students who are taking SFP. The number of samples used was 20% of the population. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the students' pedagogical content knowledge ability was in a good category. Aspects of pedagogical content knowledge consist of subject matter knowledge, instruction representation and strategies, instructional objective and context and knowledge of student understanding.
