Abstract

Abstract           The problem in this research is “The influence of the use of cooperative learning model of stad type on the of student achievement of class XI IPS on the learning of sociology in SMA Negeri 1 Tebas”. This study intended to know the influence of the use of cooperative learning model stad type on of student achievement of class XI IPS on learning sociology in SMA Negeri 1 Tebas. Quasi experiment was used in this research study with non-equevalent control groub design. The sampel of the research is student of class XI IPS2 (experimental class) and class XI IPS1 (control class) SMA Negeri 1 Tebas. The research showed that the average result of post-test control class 66,03 and average post-test experimental class 72,36. Furthermore t-test results obtaint t count of 2,06 t-table (a 5% with dk 52) of 1,6762. This study showed that the positive effect of STAD on student learning achievement. Keyword : influence, stad, learning sociology.

Abstract

AbsractThis study aims to determine the reading interest of community members at the Taman Alun Kapuas Pontianak Reading House. The research approach with desriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were observation guides, interview guides, and notebooks along with archives. Data analysis techniques used in data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The analysisin the study was presented descriptive using as many as 5 informants consisting of two reading house officers namely Mrs. N and Mrs. DI, as well as three visitors of the reading house namely Mrs. M, sister FW, and sister SM. The results of this study indicate that the frequency of visits to borrower transaction readings is still relative low, namely visitors only visit once  a week on holidays, saturdat and Sunday, reading duration of visitors is also still short, only about 60 minutes and it is also interspersed with playing cellphones and catthing, and the destination from visitors coming to the reading house is to fill in the free time and get entertainment. Keyword: Community Members, Reading House, Reading Interest

Abstract                                                                           This research is based on the desire of researchers to know the role of the School in Building Religious Tolerance to the Students in SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak. The sub-problems in this study are as follows:        1. How is the concept of religious tolerance applied by the leadership in SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak? 2.How do the students respond to the concept of religious tolerance applied by the leadership in SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak? 3. How does the school leadership play a role in building religious tolerance in SMA Negeri 3 Pontianak? The purpose of this study was to determine the role of school in building religious tolerant attitudes towards students in Pontianak 3 senior high school. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative approach. The cooperation between school principles and teachers in the teaching about how important the attitudes of tolerance among people of Catholic,Protestant, Islam and Hindu also Budha. The teaching material given by the teacher is to grow love among the religious, love the differences around the school. However, school leaders and teachers are also provides guidance to students in keeping the relation then there is no division between students in different religions. Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this study are to find out (1) the implementation of accepting among students, (2) the implementation of respecting among students, (3) the implementation of appreciating among students in Putra Kayong II Dormitory. The data analysis in this study was presented in descriptive qualitative research by using four informants, consists of one chief and three residents of the dormitory who came from different ethnic. The technique of data collection in this study is conducted through observation, interview and documentation, while the tools of data collection being used are observation checklist, interview guideline and documentation tool. The results of this study prove that in Putra Kayong II Dormitory in terms of (1) Accepting new students, advice, and sharing also hanging out with anyone openly without exception, no discrimination, no arrogance, not offensive and unselfish. (2) Respecting each other students despite their different belief and ethnic respectfully, without prejudice, without reproach, and without discrimination. (3) Respecting opinions, critic and collective decision is accepted gracefully, without reproach, without emotional and acting wise in response. Keywords: Accepting, Appreciating, Respecting, Social Tolerance.

Abstract

  AbstractThis study aimed to describe the education of sociology departement literacy used by students of sociology of education in preparing the final work in FKIP Tanjungpura University of. The method used is descriptive method survey form with a qualitative approach. Data collected by the indirect communication. Data collection tool used is a questionnaire and documentation in the form outline and design student research. The population of this study were all students of sociology of education that has been qualified in completing course credits a number of 110-115 credits and be eligible to apply for the title of the research to the academic supervisor. The research proves that students in general education courses sociology "in line" in preparing for the writing of the final work through the proposed outline and the design of the proposed research to the academic supervisor or to the sociology of education courses. In particular: 1) student of the sociology of education before writing her college thesis to perform a wide variety of approaches and work hard to get a variety of literacy suite of social media both print and non-print; 2) student education study program of sociology in doing literacy courses to prepare for the final works in sociology of education courses to experience various obstacles whether they are economic, technical as well as non-economic and non-technical; 3) the strategies used to overcome various obstacles in literacy preparation was writing the end of college students of education and sociology are doing searching brawshing using a web search engine sociology department, namely Google and Yahoo and other web search engines. Keywords: literacy, education of sociology, end of college preparatory works

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the interaction of family and social environment on the vandalism behavior of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 14 Pontianak. This research method is quantitative with a research sample of 110 VIII students using purposive sampling. Data was taken using a questionnaire. The results showed that vandalism was low at 60.8%, family harmony was 44.7% and the school environment was categorized as very high at 34.4%. The results of the test show Fcount (31,328) > Ftable (3.08) and a significance of 0.00 < 0.05, meaning that family harmony and social environment have a significant effect on vandalism behavior. tcount of the decent family harmony variable -4.486 > ttable 1.982 with a significance of 0.00 <0.05, which means that there is a significant negative effect. tcount of the appropriate school social environment variable -2.547 > ttable 1.982 with a significance of 0.01 <0.05, which means that there is a significant negative effect. Regression equation Y'= 68.074+ (- 0.418) + (-0.313) + e. The determinant value of Adjusted R2 = 0.358, which means that the influence of family interaction and social environment on vandalism behavior is low, namely 35.8%. Keywords: Harmonious Family, School Social Environment, Vandalism.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' interest in learning sociology at SMA Negeri 2 Nanga Pinoh during classroom learning activities. The research adopts a qualitative approach using descriptive research methods. Data for this study were collected from teachers and students. The data collection focused on the interest of eleventh-grade of social students in studying sociology during classroom learning activities. The findings reveal that the overall interest of eleventh-grade social class students in Nanga Pinoh is relatively high. It is supported by the students' personal and psychological interests, as evidenced by their diligent submission of assignments, high attendance, and positive engagement in learning activities, reflecting a sense of enjoyment. However, students' participation and attention during learning activities are still lacking when considering situational interest. It is evident from their relatively low participation and engagement in classroom activities. Keywords: Interest in Learning, Students, During the Learning Process

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of providing quality educational services to the community, especially students and their parents. Through this research, it is hoped that clarity will be obtained regarding the influence of participative leadership on the quality of educational services at Menyuke 1 State High School. The problem is how does the principal implement participatory leadership, what is the quality of educational services, and how does the principal's participative leadership influence the quality of educational services at SMAN 1 Menyuke? This form of research is quantitative research with ex-post facto methods (measurements after the event) used to answer the research problem being studied. The units of analysis used in this research are teachers and staff. The minimum sample was determined using the Krecjie and Morgan Table, with a population of 42 teachers and school staff, a sample of 38 people was obtained. To collect data, a questionnaire was used which was given to teachers and school staff who were the research samples. Data analysis was carried out, descriptive statistics also used regression analysis and MANOVA. The results of the research show that the quality of educational services is classified as good, while the participative leadership of the principal of SMA Negeri 1 Menyuke is classified as high, and also specifically. The results of the study also show that there is a significant effect of the participative leadership of the principal on the quality of educational services at SMA Negeri 1 Menyuke.

Abstract

This thesis is entitledTeachers and the Effectiveness of Sociology Learning. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Researchers explore the phenomena that occur in the field, then describe in the form of words and sentences. The methods used by researchers in collecting data are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of research conducted in the field show that clinical supervision in improving teacher performance has shown good results. Although there are some drawbacks. Clinical supervision atSMA Negeri 1 Menjalin is more dependent on teacher readiness. The supervisor who supervises the teachers is the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Menjalin. Clinical supervision at SMAN 1 Menjalin has several stages including initial preparation, initial meeting, observation. Teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Menjalin have met professional teacher standard switch have fulfilled four competencies including pedagogic competence, personal competence, professional competence and social competence. In improving these competencies, especially for the new teachers in SMAN 1 Menjalin, one way is through clinical supervision. The improvement felt by teachers who have carried out clinical supervision is increased performance and increased learning effectiveness, which can be seen from the very varied methods used, being able to manage classes well, being able to know and understand the character of each student well and being able to make participants students are active in learning.
