Abstract

Thibaq adalah penggabungan antara sesuatu dengan lawannya dalam suatu ungkapan. thibaq dibagi menjadi dua jenis, yaitu thibaq positif dan thibaq negatif. Sementara itu, "muqabalah" adalah bentuk kata dasar dari "qabil" dengan pola "mufa'alah," yang berarti partisipasi. Dalam ilmu balaghah, "muqabalah" adalah menyatukan dua makna atau lebih, lalu menyatukan apa yang berlawanan dengan makna-makna tersebut secara berurutan. Jadi, tujuan analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan jenis-jenis thibaq dan muqabalah dalam bagian ke-24 serta makna dan struktur thibaq dan muqabalah dalam bagian ke-24. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh peneliti dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif, dengan pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kepustakaan. Adapun sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua jenis, yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Dari hasil penelitian, ada beberapa hal yang diperoleh peneliti melalui langkah-langkahnya, yaitu: Peneliti menemukan bahwa jenis-jenis thibaq dalam Surah Az-Zumar ada 7 ayat, dalam Surah Ghafir ada 12 ayat, dan dalam Surah Fussilat ada 13 ayat. Kemudian jenis-jenis "muqabalah" dalam Surah Ghafir ada 5 ayat, dan dalam Surah Fussilat ada 2 ayat. thibaq dalam bagian ke-24 terdiri dari 3 surah, sedangkan "muqabalah" terdiri dari 2 surah.

Abstract

This study measures the correlation between the Intensive Training Program (ITP) and the English and Arabic Proficiency Test (EAPT) scores among 100 postgraduate students at IAIN Sultan Amai Gorontalo from four non-language programs. A quantitative method with an ex-post facto design was used, and data analysis was conducted using Spearman’s correlation test. Data were collected through a three-aspect proficiency test: listening (istima’), structure (tarakib), and reading (qira’ah), using a Computer Assisted Test (CAT) application with 140 items. The test results were processed using score conversion and SPSS Version 30. Before the ITP, none of the students achieved the minimum passing score for the EPT (450), and only six passed the APT. After the training, 18% reached the minimum EPT score, and the number of students who passed the APT increased significantly to 32. Correlation analysis showed that ITP effectively improved listening (correlation 0.582; p=0.002) and structure (correlation 0.592; p=0.002) in EPT, but was less effective for reading (correlation 0.085; p=0.686). In contrast, ITP greatly enhanced all aspects of APT: istima’ (correlation 0.972; p=0.000), tarakib (correlation 0.993; p=0.000), and qira’ah (correlation 0.997; p=0.000). The short duration of the training affects its effectiveness, along with students’ educational backgrounds and learning motivation. To enhance efficacy, it is recommended to extend the training duration, provide relevant modules for non-language students, enhance motivation through regular practice, and improve reading instruction methods. ITP positively impacts Arabic and English language proficiency, particularly for APT, suggesting that targeted training can significantly benefit non-language students’ language skills.

Abstract

Background: Islamic education in Gorontalo Regency operates within a rich multilingual context, yet it remains insufficiently responsive to local linguistic resources, particularly the Gorontalo language. Although the local language holds significant potential to enhance students’ understanding of Islamic values and engagement, its integration into school management is hindered by a lack of formal policies, academic stigma, and limited supporting resources. Purpose: This study aims to examine how Islamic education management responds to local linguistic contexts and formulate an integrative management model that harmonizes Islamic values with local language practices. Method: Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach with a constructivist design, the research was conducted in Gorontalo Regency through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. Data were collected from 20 informants, including madrasah principals, teachers, Ministry of Religious Affairs officials, and customary leaders. Results and Discussion: Findings reveal that 92% of respondents recognize the importance of the Gorontalo language, only 46% of institutions have implemented it in formal policies, and only 27% of teachers have received relevant training. The local language proves effective in teaching moral character (76%) and religious communication (82%), yet faces structural barriers such as the absence of regulatory support, academic marginalization of local languages, and a scarcity of bilingual teaching materials. Support from customary and religious leaders significantly strengthens cultural legitimacy. Moreover, using the local language demonstrably enhances student participation, comprehension of Islamic values, and religious behavior. Conclusions and Implications: Synthesizing empirical findings with theoretical frameworks—Funds of Knowledge, sociolinguistics, Contextual Teaching and Learning, and Fazlur Rahman’s thought—this study proposes a conceptual model: “Locally Linguistically Responsive Islamic Education Management.” The model comprises four pillars: institutional policy, contextual learning management, culturally grounded teacher capacity building, and socio-religious collaboration. It bridges the universality of Islamic values with local cultural specificity, contributing to both the preservation of indigenous languages and the contextual strengthening of Islamic identity. The study recommends that Islamic education adopt inclusive, context-sensitive management approaches to foster meaningful and sustainable learning.

Abstract

Background: In Arabic linguistics, morphology is a parameter (mizan) of Arabic that is needed in the syntactic subsystem, because words act as input units to form sentences and words are the basis of a language. Purpose: This research article discusses morphological changes that occur in the process of At-ta’rib (Arabization) in the form of absorption and formation of foreign words and terms into Arabic. Method: This research is literature research. Primary data sources are obtained from al-Jazirah magazine, and secondary data sources are literature, both in the form of books, journals, and research results. Data collection is done with documentation, listening, and note-taking techniques. Data analysis techniques using; 1) open coding, 2) grounded theory analysis are described descriptively. Results and Discussion: The results of this study explain that in the structure of the word At-ta’rib (Arabization), in addition to using and utilizing existing rules with qiyas and wazan-wazan (word scales) in Arabic, modern morphology that comes with the process of affixation also plays an important role in the formation of new words and changing the class of words from certain lexical elements to other lexical elements. Based on the results  of the study, the structure of the word At-ta’rib (Arabization) uses several forms of affixation, namely the form of perfixes الاستراتجي)), Infix ماجستير)), suffix تكنولوجيا)), and circulate الديموقراطي)). Conclusions and Implications: Modern morphological changes can be used as a basis that Arabic vocabulary always adapts to the needs and developments of the times. The formation of new vocabulary as a result of modern arabization (At-ta'rib) involves the morphological processes of "derivation" and "inflection" both of these processes can change words as lexical elements, and can be applied to form new vocabulary that does not yet exist. The implications of this research help to facilitate the learning of modern morphology and the understanding of the process of new vocabulary formation needed in global communication. Thus, Arabic vocabulary that is not yet available can be made with morphological changes that are in accordance with the rules of ta'rib, are agreed upon in use, and are not also useful for fulfilling new vocabulary for special needs.

Abstract

Penelitianinimembahas al-fas}lu dan al-was}lu dalam al-Qur’an dengan tigarumusanmasalahyaitu; bagaimana penggunaan uslu>b al-fas}lu dalam al-Qur’an,  bagaimana penggunaan uslu>b al-was}lu dalam al-Qur’an, dan apa tujuan penggunaan al-fas}lu  dan al-was}l  dalam al-Qur’an perspektif balaqah. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan al-fas}lu  dan al-was}l  dalam al-Qur’an, dan untuk mengetahui  tujuan penggunaan dari al-fas}lu  dan al-was}l  dalam al-Qur’an perspektif balagah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada penggunaan  al-fas}lu terdapat 4 tempat yaitu : kesinambungan yang sempurna, keterputusan yang sempurna, kemiripan kesinambungan yang sempurna, menjadi penengah diantara dua kalimat, adapun pada al-was}lu terdapat 3 tempat yaitu : kesesuaian antara khabar dan insya’ pada lafadz dan maknanya, kalimat pertama memiliki kedudukan dalam i’rab dan kalimat keduanya merupakan hukum dari i’rab, terdapat perbedaan antara kalimat pertama dan kedua dari bentuk khobar dan insya’.

Abstract

This article discusses the semiotic study of the Quran using the heuristic and hermeneutic approaches developed by Michael Camille Riffaterre. The focus of the analysis is on Surah Al-Anbiya' verses 59-62, which narrate the story of Prophet Ibrahim and his struggle against idol worshipers. In the heuristic analysis, the research centers on understanding the surface text of the Quran, such as the dialogues and actions of Prophet Ibrahim and the reactions of the idol worshipers. This heuristic analysis reveals the chronology of events and actions of Prophet Ibrahim and underscores the importance of understanding the literal meaning of the Quranic text.Meanwhile, Riffaterre's hermeneutic analysis delves deeper into the hidden meanings and implications of this story. In these verses, there is symbolism that reflects a shift in the mindset of the idol worshipers as they come to realize their error. The consequences of misguided beliefs and the wisdom of worshiping Allah as the One and Only God become the moral message highlighted in this hermeneutic analysis.This semiotic study of the Quran provides a more comprehensive understanding of the story of Prophet Ibrahim and idol worship in the cultural and religious context of that time. The heuristic and hermeneutic approaches used by Riffaterre help unearth deeper meanings and relevant moral messages that can be applied in everyday life. Thus, this semiotic study strengthens the understanding of wisdom and truth in worshiping Allah as the one and only God

Abstract

Al-Kala>m al-khabary adalah ungkapan yang bisa benar atau dusta. Al-Kala>m al-khabary dibagi menjadi tiga jenis yaitu: al-ibtida>y, al-t}alaby, dan al-inka>ry. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini berfokus untuk mengungkap jenis dan tujuan tuturan al-kala>m al-khabary dalam juz dua puluh sembilan. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan. Sumber bahan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada dua jenis, yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui metode studi pustaka, editing, pengorganisasian, penyimpulan dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian, ada beberapa hal yang peneliti dapatkan melalui prosedur-prosedur yang dilakukan, antara lain sebagai berikut:   Jenis-jenis tuturan ahli pada bagian kedua puluh sembilan dan kedua puluh terdiri dari: al-kala>m al-khabaryal-ibtida>y  dalam juz 29 ditemukan 130 ayat, al-kala>m al-khabaryal-t}alaby 77 ayat, dan al-kala>m al-khabaryal-inkary  18 ayat.  Tujuan al-kala>m al-khabary pada juz kedua puluh sembilan dalam al-Qur'an yaitu fa>idatu al-khabar, la>zimu al-fa>idah, dan izha>ru al-d}a’fi.

Abstract

Surah An-Naba' in the Holy Qur'an is one of the chapters rich in message and meaning. This surah employs both nakirah (indefinite) and ma'rifah (definite) nouns, which play a crucial role in conveying the message and enriching the structure of the Arabic language. To date, studies specifically addressing the types of nakirah and ma'rifah nouns and their grammatical analysis in Surah An-Naba' are limited. Therefore, this research aims to provide an understanding of the "Types of Nakirah and Ma'rifah Nouns and Their Grammatical Analysis in Surah An-Naba'." The objectives of this study are: (1) To identify the types of nakirah nouns and analyze their grammatical roles in Surah An-Naba'. (2) To identify the types of ma'rifah nouns and analyze their grammatical roles in Surah An-Naba'. The research methodology employed by the author in this study is qualitative descriptive research. The method used for data collection is the library research method. The sources of the materials investigated in this study are divided into two types: primary sources and secondary sources. The findings of the research include several key points obtained through the author's procedures, such as: (1) The number of nakirah nouns in Surah An-Naba' is found in thirty-four (34) verses. (2) The number of ma'rifah nouns in Surah An-Naba' is found in thirty-two (32) verses. It can be concluded that the study of nakirah and ma'rifah nouns is essential for understanding the Qur'an. The purpose of this learning is to prevent errors in the interpretation of the Qur'an, the Hadith of the Prophet, and other texts.

Abstract

Bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang membutuhkan kemampuan Dosen atau Pengajar  dalam mengelola kelas, terutama kemampuan Dosen memanfaatkan strategi yang bisa menciptakan suasana menyenangkan dan aktif sehingga dapat menarik minat dan  dapat  menumbuhkan  semangat mahasiswa untuk mengikuti pelajaran, baik secara mandiri ataupun kelompok.Dosen  adalah pendidik profesional dengan tugas utama mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai serta  mengevaluasi mahasiswa.Namun permasalahan yang muncul adalah sejauh mana Dosen bahasa Arab dapat mengembangkan sistem pengajarannya agar mahasiswa termotivasi dan semangat untuk mempelajari bahasa Arab. Apalagi dalam dunia pendidikan, manusia diwajibkan menuntut ilmu karena melalui pendidikan manusia dapat mengembangkan watak dan ditinggikan derajatnya.Tujuan dari Team dosen Fakultas Ilmu Budaya program studi Sastra Arab memberikan Pelatihan Peningkatan Kemampuan  Bahasa Arab melalui  strategi Permainan Kartu Kata atau yang sering disebut(  bitoqotu-l- kalimah ) dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab adalah mahasiswa dapat mengaplikasikan Strategi  tersebut sehingga dapat meningngkatan  kemampuan   Bahasa Arab sehingga  pemahaman materi yang didapat mahasiswa akan lebih efektif.Strategi permainan kartu kata adalah media yang dapat mengenalkan gambar-gambar dan kata-kata yang nantinya memudahkan dosen dalam proses penyampaian materi pembelajaran , terutama dalam berbahasa.Perubahan yang terjadi pada mahasiswa ketika pelatihan ini adalah adalah timbulnya semangat dan motivasi mereka dalam belajar karena mereka diberi tahu sejak awal bahwa akan ada permainan Memilih Pasangan Kartu setelah penyajian materi oleh dosen yang akan dilanjutkan dengan tes akhir. Mereka lebih fokus dan serius dalam mengikuti presentasi materi oleh dosen. Kata Kunci : Bahasa Arab, Permainan Kata, Bitoqotul

Abstract

Terdapat perbedaan pandangan dalam menerima konsep demokrasi pada gerakan kemahasiswaan. Sebagian menerima konsep tersebut dan sebagian lagi menolaknya. Penerimaan dan penolakan terjadi, umumnya dikarenakan perbedaan dalam memaknai konsep “syura” dalam al-Qur’an. Penelitian ini membahas pandangan Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia dalam memaknai konsep syura dalam al-Qur’an dengan menggunakan teori kritik nalar Arab Muhammad Abid al-Jabiri. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia memaknai syura identik dengan demokrasi saat ini. Dengan demikian, metode penelaahan yang digunakan Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia lebih mendekati pendekatan burhani yang disebut al-Jabiri.
