Abstract

Local wisdom includes the outlook on life, knowledge, and life strategies implemented by the community in meeting their needs. Activities that reflect local wisdom include religious practices, culture, and customs. There are many variations of local wisdom in Indonesia because the people consist of various tribes and cultures. One example of an area that promotes culture and introduces history and philosophy through activities is Banjarnegara Regency, especially in the Dieng Highlands. In this area, an annual cultural festival known as Dieng Culture Festival is held, which showcases various arts and cultures. Cultural festivals such as Dieng Culture Festival are a good way to promote local wisdom, because they can attract the attention of people from various regions and even abroad. In addition, such activities can help local communities maintain their cultural heritage and introduce it to the younger generation. This research uses a literature review method that refers to various sources such as articles, journals, and other media. A narrative approach is used in compiling this review literature by grouping existing data and summarizing the analyzed content. This research resulted in information that Dieng, an area in Banjarnegara Regency, has an annual cultural festival known as Dieng Culture Festival. Dieng Culture Festival is an annual parade event that showcases local culture and wisdom. This event consists of several series, including: a) Jazz over the clouds and lantern festival, b) Traditional art performances, c) shadow puppet performances, d) Cultural relays, f) Dreadlocks shaving rituals, and so on.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of smartphone use on student learning effectiveness at MTS Anwar Futuhiyyah. The method used is a quantitative method with a simple linear regression approach. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that there is no significant effect between smartphone use (variable X) on student learning effectiveness (variable Y). This is proven through regression analysis with the equation Y = 52.806 + 0.043X, where the X coefficient is 0.043 and the constant is 52.806. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.002 indicates a very weak relationship between the two variables. Meanwhile, the R Square value of 0.002 or 0.2% indicates that only 0.2% of the variation in learning effectiveness can be explained by the smartphone use variable, while the other 99.8% is influenced by other factors not analyzed in this study. Thus, smartphone use does not have a significant effect on student learning effectiveness.

Abstract

The community service carried out by the author aims to find out how to weave social harmony in the community in Hamlet 3, Pulau Semambu Village, through the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach. The Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach is a method that is closer to the active participation of the target group during the activity process. The method used in the village development activities is based on active participation aimed for 3 months from October to December 2024, with a focus on 3 main divisions, namely environment, health, and education. Village development is carried out by dividing activities into preparation, program implementation, and evaluation with local parties. The results of the village development activities have had a positive impact, with more than 60% of students understanding the material that has been presented and giving a good impression of what has been provided by the Village Development Volunteer Team. The Village Development program's follow-up results include Sriwijaya University's collaboration in the PPK Ormawa program, under the auspices of KEMDISTISAINTEK. Village development activities in Hamlet 3, Pulau Semambu Village are expected to create an independent, intelligent, healthy and noble village based on Islamic values.

Abstract

Civic Education (PPKn) plays a crucial role in shaping individuals' characters and fostering positive behaviors. This article discusses the challenges and opportunities in optimizing the role of PPKn. The introduction emphasizes the importance of civic values in social life, while the method discusses effective teaching strategies, including active approaches, the use of technology, integration of civic values into other subjects, and collaboration among relevant parties. The discussion highlights challenges such as lack of awareness of the importance of PPKn, disparities in curriculum implementation, and complexity of the material, while opportunities such as technological advancements, collaboration, and periodic evaluations provide a foundation for enhancing the effectiveness of PPKn education. By utilizing appropriate strategies and involving all relevant stakeholders, it is hoped that a future generation with strong character, responsibility, and civic awareness can be realized.

Abstract

Kelurahan Keramasan merupakan wilayah yang terletak di Kecamatan Kertapati yang memiliki kompleksitas permasalahan dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal setempat dikarenakan keterbatasan struktural serta minimnya pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pemberdayaan. Permasalahan serupa dialami oleh para penderita tuberkulosis (TBC) di Kelurahan Keramasan, Kota Palembang. Kurangnya sistem pengobatan yang maksimal, ditambah lagi dengan sistem sanitasi yang kurang memadai serta minimnya lapangan pekerjaan yang layak menjadikan mereka sangat rentan terhadap pemasalahan sosial dan ekonomi. Program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang diinisiasi oleh lembaga filantropi Bakrie Center Foundation (BCF) yang bekerja sama kepada Masyarakat Sehat Sriwijaya (MSS) dibentuk melalui pendekatan “SIRKULIFE (Sirkular Life Empowerment)” dengan tujuan agar membantu menciptakan ketahanan pangan keluarga, meningkatkan keterampilan teknis serta mendukung tercapainnya pembangunan berkelanjutan melalui penjualan hasil budidaya lele dan sayuran. Hasil dari kegiataan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh tim pemberdayaan, memberikan dampak positif kepada masyarakat dalam peningkatan kebutuhan ekonomi yang lebih optimal, mencapai kemandirian ekonomi yang berkelanjutan, meningkatkan produktivitas lokal, serta mendorong pemanfaatan sumber daya secara efisien dan ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

The Korowai tribe is a group of indigenous people who live in remote areas in the province of Papua, Indonesia. The Korowai tribe is known for their wooden houses built in trees to protect themselves from floods and wild animals. The traditions and culture of the Korowai tribe are very unique and unique, such as traditional dances, woodcarving and belief in ancestral spirits. However, modernization and epidemics that are increasingly affecting the region significantly change the life of the Korowai tribe. External influences have changed the lifestyle, diet, and use of technology for the Korowai people. However, they try to maintain their original identity and culture. This study discusses the social and cultural changes of the Korowai tribe in the context of modernization and globalization. The results of the study show that the effects of modernization and globalization affect the daily life of the Korowai tribe with complex changes. Factors influencing these changes are access to the outside world, changes in mindset, foreign cultural influences and infrastructure development. Although these changes had positive impacts such as improving the quality of life, they also had negative impacts in maintaining the original culture and traditions of the Korowai tribe. Therefore efforts to restore the original Korowai culture and traditions are very important through programs that support and develop local culture as well as education about the importance of cultural care. This study recommends further research to understand the impact of changes in social culture on the Korowai tribe and how they respond to these changes.

Abstract

The background of this research is because the researcher is interested in learning Pancasila Education towards determining the theme of students' artworks. This research aims to 1). Knowing the influence of (X1) on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul. 2). Knowing the influence of (X2) on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul. 3). Knowing the influence of (X3) on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul. 4). Knowing the influence of (X4) on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul. 5). Knowing the influence of X1, X2, X3, X4 simultaneously on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul. This research method uses quantitative research methods. The population of this study is all students of SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul with a total of 1,038 students using Simple Random Sampling with the provision that based on the Harry King nomogram table, if the total population is 1038 students, then the sample that can be taken with an error rate of 5% is as many as 265 students. The data analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression. The results show 1). There was a significant influence (X1) on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul with a sig of 0.020 with a regression equation of 0.180. 2). There was a significant influence (X2) on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul with a sig of 0.000 with a regression equation of -302. 3). There was a significant influence (X3) on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul with a sig of 0.000 with a regression equation of 0.496. 4). There was a significant influence (X4) on (Y) at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul with a sig of 0.000 with a regression equation of -604. 5). There was a significant influence of X1, X2, X3 and X4 simultaneously on Y at SMK Negeri 3 Kasihan Bantul with a sig of 0.000 ≤ 0.05 and Fcalculated 53,707 > Ftable 2,250. The magnitude of the determination coefficient (adjusted R2) of = 0.777 means that the independent variable simultaneously affects the bound variable by 77.7%, the remaining 22.3% is influenced by other variables that are not included in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of Islam in Indonesia after independence shows significant dynamics. Since Indonesia's independence in 1945, Islam has undergone transformation in social, political, and cultural aspects. According to data from the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, the number of Muslims in Indonesia is estimated to reach 227 million in 2021, making it the country with the largest Muslim population in the world. One important finding is the strengthening of the role of Islamic organizations in social and political life. Organizations such as Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) and Muhammadiyah play a key role in spreading moderate and tolerant Islamic values. NU, for example, has contributed to the development of education and social in various regions, while Muhammadiyah is active in the fields of health and education. Statistics show that more than 30 million NU members and around 29 million Muhammadiyah members are involved in various social and humanitarian activities.

Abstract

Self-confidence is an important aspect during senior high school. Because self-confidence is related to better academic performance, positive social involvement, and readiness to enter the workforce or higher education. However, in reality, some students feel insecure both at school and outside of school. Therefore, this research answers whether these two variables are relevant. This research aims to find out how much soft skills contribute to the development of self-confidence in students using quantitative descriptive methods at SMA Negeri 7 Yogyakarta from April to May 2024 involving 158 students as samples taken using simple random sampling techniques using the program SPSS version 23 as a tool for processing data. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, show that the independent variable is proven to contribute significantly to the dependent variable, which means that there is a positive contribution between students' mastery of soft skills and students' self-development, which has implications for the need to master soft skills to support the achievement of students who have strong character. It is hoped that mastery of soft skills will be supported by all parties, including teachers, schools, and parents. Keywords: confident; education; soft skill.

Abstract

AbstractThe effect of grouping robotics research classes on learning achievement in Pancasila education has become an interesting research focus in the context of modern education. This article discusses the background to the integration of technology in education, the relevance of combining robotics and Pancasila Education, and the importance of understanding the relationship between the two. This research method involves descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression with a population of 382 students and a sample of 192 students. Data was obtained from questionnaires and documentation through report cards from robotics research classes at MTs Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. The results of the analysis show that the instruments used are valid and reliable, and there is a significant relationship between the robotics research class grouping and Pancasila Education learning achievement. The results of simple linear regression show that around 73.1% is significant and 26.9% is influenced by other variables not included in this research. In conclusion, there is a significant influence of the robot research class grouping on Pancasila Education learning achievement. These findings show the potential for using technology such as robotics to improve learning of traditional subjects such as Pancasila Education at MTs Negeri 1 Yogyakarta.-------------------------AbstrakPengaruh pengelompokkan kelas riset robotika terhadap prestasi belajar Pendidikan Pancasila telah menjadi fokus penelitian yang menarik dalam konteks pendidikan modern. Artikel ini membahas latar belakang integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan, relevansi penggabungan antara robotika dan Pendidikan Pancasila, serta pentingnya memahami hubungan antara keduanya. Metode penelitian ini melibatkan analisis deskriptif statistik dan regresi linier sederhana dengan populasi 382 siswa dan sampel 192 siswa. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner dan dokumentasi melalui nilai rapor kelas riset robotika di MTs Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa instrumen yang digunakan valid dan reliabel, serta terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengelompokkan kelas riset robotika dan prestasi belajar Pendidikan Pancasila. Hasil regresi linier sederhana menunjukkan bahwa sekitar 73.1% signifikan dan 26,9% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan kedalam penelitian ini. Kesimpulannya, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan pengelompokkan kelas riset robotika terhadap prestasi belajar Pendidikan Pancasila. Temuan ini menunjukkan potensi penggunaan teknologi seperti robotika dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran mata pelajaran tradisional seperti Pendidikan Pancasila di MTs Negeri 1 Yogyakarta.
