Abstract

Investigates implementation of Islamic Religious Education, condition of students’ Islamic character, and teachers’ strategies in fostering these values at SD IT Al-Furqon. Qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, also document analysis. Participants included PAI teachers as key informants, supported by school principal and students. Reveal that PAI learning at SD IT Al-Furqon is conducted systematically through integration of interactive lectures, discussions, memorization, also habituation of religious values in daily school activities. Students’ Islamic character is generally categorized as good, particularly in terms of discipline, politeness, and responsibility, although challenges such as behavioral inconsistency and environmental influences remain. PAI teachers play a crucial role in character development by integrating Islamic values into both instructional and non-instructional activities, including routine religious programs. Collaboration between teachers and parents strengthens students’ moral development. Contributes to literature by highlighting Islamic character education strategies based on religious habituation and teacher role modeling within context of an integrated Islamic elementary school.

Abstract

  This study aims to examine three aspects: (1) the implementation of the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) learning model in Islamic Education (PAI), (2) students’ learning outcomes before the implementation of the CIRC learning model, and (3) the improvement of students’ learning outcomes after the implementation of the CIRC learning model. This study employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design. The research subjects were 19 eighth-grade students at SMP Plus Miftahul Hidayah. Data were collected through observation and learning outcome tests in the form of pretests and posttests. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability, with 17 items declared valid and a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.842, indicating high reliability. The results showed that the implementation of the CIRC learning model was very effective, as indicated by the observation results of teacher and student activities, which obtained a total score of 80 and were categorized as very good. The average pretest score was 65.00, which increased significantly to 93.16 in the posttest. The normality test results showed significance values of 0.561 for the pretest and 0.412 for the posttest (> 0.05), indicating that the data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test showed a significance value of 0.395 (> 0.05), indicating homogeneous data. The paired sample t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant difference between pretest and posttest results. Furthermore, the N-Gain value was 0.80 or 80%, which falls into the high category. Therefore, it can be concluded that the CIRC learning model is effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in Islamic Education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of religious and social character among students in various Madrasah Aliyah in Indonesia through learning activities based on Islamic values. Using a Systematic Literature Review approach, the research follows several stages including theme formulation, literature searching, article selection, data analysis, interpretation, drafting, and dissemination. The review focuses on three main aspects: the impact of character development, challenges faced by teachers and institutions, and the implications of technology integration in Islamic education. The findings indicate that Islamic value–based learning significantly contributes to shaping students who are religious, cooperative, responsible, and socially aware. However, challenges remain, such as limited teacher training, inadequate infrastructure, and resistance to pedagogical innovation. With stronger policy support and continuous professional development, character education grounded in Islamic values can effectively prepare students to be religious, creative, and adaptive in the digital era. Collaboration between schools, communities, and the government is essential to achieve holistic character development.

Abstract

This research analyzes the transformation of MAN 1 Garut into a leading madrasah through transformational leadership amidst intense educational competition. It aims to analyze the construction of concepts, implementation, and determinants, while reconstructing an effective leadership model to enhance institutional quality. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative method, data were collected through in-depth interviews with nine key informants, observation, and documentation, validated via triangulation.The results indicate that leadership is operationalized through a "Marathon Runner" philosophy, where the leader acts as a "Pacer" to maintain innovation consistency through a "Super Team" mechanism and "Silent Leadership" strategies. The power of "Spiritual Legitimacy" is proven to create emotional loyalty and a strong "Inner Contract" between the leader and staff. This transformation is empirically evidenced by international achievements at IMEC 2025 and the "MONTIME" work culture shift. Although hindered by bureaucratic rigidity, social capital in the form of public trust serves as the primary support. The novelty of this research is the formulation of the "Theocentric-Transformational Leadership Model Based on Exemplarity" (Imamiyah Leadership). This model synergizes modern management with spirituality to create sustainable quality, transcending conventional transformational models that tend to be secular.

Abstract

Keterampilan kolaborasi merupakan aspek penting dalam pembelajaran abad ke-21, terutama dalam Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Namun, banyak siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam bekerja sama secara efektif. Salah satu teknik yang dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi adalah tekni Ice Breaking. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh teknik ice breaking terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi siswa di SMA Negeri 19 Garut. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif, penelitian ini melibatkan 214 siswa dengan teknik stratified random sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji yang dilakukan menunjukan teknik ice breaking di SMA Negeri 19 Garut berada pada dominasi rata-rata kategori positif dengan nilai rata-rata 43,43 dan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa di SMA Negeri 19 Garut berada pada dominasi rata-rata kategori positif dengan nilai rata-rata 65,94. Hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa teknik ice breaking berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p < 0,05). Namun, nilai R Square sebesar 0,087 menunjukkan kontribusi metode ini hanya 8,7%, sementara faktor lain turut memengaruhi keterampilan kolaborasi siswa. Kesimpulannya, teknik ice breaking dapat meningkatkan keterampilan kolaborasi tetapi perlu dikombinasikan dengan strategi lain agar lebih efektif. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan mengeksplorasi faktor lain yang lebih dominan dalam pengembangan keterampilan kolaborasi siswa.
