Abstract

Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung perekonomian masyarakat, khususnya di wilayah pedesaan. Namun, sebagian besar UMKM masih menghadapi kendala dalam pemasaran produk akibat keterbatasan pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Kondisi ini juga dialami oleh UMKM di Kecamatan Dampit, Desa Jambangan, Dusun Sumbersari, Kabupaten Malang, yang masih mengandalkan pemasaran konvensional dan media sosial pribadi yang belum terkelola secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan aplikasi Android sebagai media pemasaran produk UMKM guna meningkatkan jangkauan pasar dan efisiensi promosi. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis situasi dan identifikasi masalah, perancangan dan pengembangan aplikasi Android, implementasi aplikasi, pelatihan serta pendampingan mitra UMKM, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Android yang dikembangkan mampu menjadi media pemasaran yang lebih terstruktur dan mudah digunakan oleh mitra UMKM. Mitra menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman dan kemampuan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk pemasaran produk. Selain itu, aplikasi membantu meningkatkan visibilitas produk dan mempermudah komunikasi antara pelaku UMKM dan konsumen. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis berupa solusi pemasaran digital yang aplikatif bagi UMKM desa serta kontribusi akademik sebagai model implementasi teknologi informasi dalam pemberdayaan UMKM di wilayah pedesaan.

Abstract

Occupational accidents in shipyard industries remain a significant concern due to the complex and high-risk nature of shipbuilding and repair activities. Operations such as working at heights, confined space entry, welding, heavy lifting, and exposure to hazardous substances contribute to elevated accident rates and severe consequences, including fatalities and economic losses. This study aims to analyze occupational accidents in shipyards by integrating Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. The objective is to identify dominant accident types, prioritize critical risks, and determine root causes to support evidence-based safety improvements. The research employed a systematic literature review method by collecting peer-reviewed articles from major scientific databases published between 2010 and 2024. Relevant studies were selected based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were extracted and synthesized to identify common failure modes, risk parameters (Severity, Occurrence, Detection), Risk Priority Number (RPN) values, and causal relationships derived from FTA models. The PRISMA framework was applied to ensure a transparent and structured selection process. The results indicate that the most dominant occupational accidents in shipyards include falls from height, confined space incidents, fire and explosions during hot work, crushing injuries from heavy lifting operations, and electrical accidents. FMEA analysis revealed that confined space operations and welding activities consistently present the highest RPN values. FTA findings demonstrate that these accidents are commonly caused by a combination of human factors, equipment failures, inadequate supervision, insufficient safety procedures, and weak organizational safety culture. The integration of FMEA and FTA provides a comprehensive analytical framework that combines quantitative risk prioritization with qualitative root cause identification. This integrated approach enhances the effectiveness of occupational risk assessment in shipyard environments. Academically, the study contributes to the development of integrated risk analysis methodologies, while practically it offers structured recommendations for improving safety management systems in shipyard industries.

Abstract

The rapid growth of internet usage and the dominance of mobile device access have significantly transformed website development practices. Websites are no longer accessed primarily through desktop computers but through various devices with different screen sizes, particularly smartphones. This shift requires adaptive design strategies to ensure optimal accessibility and usability. However, many websites still employ static layouts that are not responsive, leading to display distortions, navigation difficulties, and reduced user experience, especially on mobile devices. This study aims to implement Responsive Web Design (RWD) to improve website accessibility and evaluate its effectiveness through quantitative measurement. The research adopts an experimental method using a before-and-after testing approach. The selected website is first evaluated in its original (non-responsive) condition using accessibility assessment tools based on Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards. Subsequently, RWD principles—including fluid grids, flexible images, media queries, and a mobile-first approach—are implemented. Accessibility testing is then repeated to measure improvements. The results indicate that the implementation of Responsive Web Design significantly enhances website accessibility across multiple devices. Improvements are observed in layout adaptability, text readability, navigability, and overall compliance with WCAG principles. The responsive layout reduces horizontal scrolling, optimizes content structure, and enhances user interaction efficiency. In conclusion, Responsive Web Design is an effective technical solution for addressing accessibility challenges in multi-device environments. Although responsiveness alone does not guarantee full accessibility compliance, its integration with accessibility standards contributes substantially to improving digital service quality. This study provides empirical evidence and a structured implementation framework that can serve as a reference for developers and institutions seeking to enhance website accessibility and user experience.

Abstract

Industri galangan kapal merupakan sektor industri manufaktur berat yang memiliki tingkat risiko kecelakaan kerja relatif tinggi akibat aktivitas seperti pengelasan, pemotongan baja, pekerjaan di ruang terbatas, serta pekerjaan di ketinggian. Kondisi ini menuntut adanya pemahaman yang memadai mengenai Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3), tidak hanya bagi pekerja, tetapi juga bagi mahasiswa Teknik Industri sebagai calon tenaga profesional yang akan terjun ke lingkungan industri. Namun demikian, pembelajaran K3 di perguruan tinggi masih cenderung bersifat teoritis sehingga diperlukan intervensi edukatif yang lebih aplikatif. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa Teknik Industri mengenai K3 di lingkungan galangan kapal serta mengevaluasi efektivitas pelatihan yang diberikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental tipe one group pretest–posttest. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tahapan persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, dan evaluasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes pengetahuan (pre-test dan post-test) untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada nilai rata-rata post-test dibandingkan pre-test, yang mengindikasikan bahwa pelatihan K3 efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan mahasiswa mengenai identifikasi bahaya, penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD), serta pengendalian risiko di galangan kapal. Selain peningkatan aspek kognitif, pelatihan juga mendorong tumbuhnya kesadaran dan sikap positif terhadap budaya keselamatan kerja. Dengan demikian, pelatihan K3 bagi mahasiswa Teknik Industri di galangan kapal merupakan intervensi yang relevan dan efektif dalam mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi lingkungan kerja berisiko tinggi. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model pembelajaran berbasis praktik yang mendukung pembentukan budaya keselamatan sejak masa pendidikan.

Abstract

Land deformation monitoring generally relies on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) and Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR) technologies. While accurate, both methods have limitations: GNSS requires relatively expensive permanent infrastructure, while InSAR relies on atmospheric conditions and cannot function optimally in enclosed areas such as caves, tunnels, or areas with dense vegetation. In this context, the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) offers a more flexible, portable, and low-cost solution. IMUs can record acceleration data continuously without relying on satellite or radar signals, making them suitable for deformation monitoring in locations difficult to reach by GNSS or InSAR. However, IMU accuracy is often hampered by accumulated noise and multiple integration errors, which cause significant drift in displacement estimates. Previous research has focused on the Zero-Velocity Update (ZUPT) method to reduce errors, but the results still show significant deviations from the true value. The main contribution of this research is proposing the integration of the ZUPT method with a second-order Butterworth low-pass filter to reduce high-frequency noise that triggers error accumulation. Displacement testing results of 10–30 cm show significant accuracy improvements. Without the filter, the displacement estimation yielded an RMSE of 0.4292 m with a Relative Error of Prediction (REP) of –304.8%, indicating a significant deviation. After the application of the Butterworth filter, the accuracy improved dramatically with an RMSE of only 0.002 m and an REP of –0.40%, indicating that the proposed method is capable of reducing the error by more than 99%. Thus, this study not only proves the effectiveness of the integration of ZUPT and the Butterworth filter in improving the accuracy of the IMU, but also confirms the potential of the IMU as a reliable alternative for deformation monitoring in areas with limited access to GNSS or InSAR. These findings open up opportunities for further development towards a real-time, portable, and efficient IMU-based landslide monitoring system.

Abstract

The tobacco industry is one of the manufacturing sectors that generates hazardous and toxic waste (B3) from various production, maintenance, and utility support activities. This waste exhibits hazardous and toxic characteristics. In practice, some tobacco industries have established Temporary Storage Facilities (TPS) for B3 waste; however, not all comply with the technical requirements stipulated by current regulations. This study aims to design a TPS for B3 waste that aligns with Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021 and Ministry of Environment and Forestry Regulation No. 6 of 2021. The research methods include literature review, direct observation of two existing TPS, and the design of a new TPS for an industry that does not yet have such a facility. The results show that the hazardous waste generated in the tobacco industry includes flammable liquids, flammable solids, corrosive substances, environmentally hazardous materials, and toxic substances. Based on the analysis, the proposed TPS has an area of 18.55 m² with a capacity of 55.65 m³, and is equipped with packaging facilities consisting of three iron drums (100 liters), two HDPE plastic containers (100 liters), and one jumbo bag (200 liters). Additional design elements include 7.09 m² of ventilation area, a spill channel measuring 0.2 m × 0.25 m, and a storage tank of 0.4 m × 0.4 m × 0.4 m. Supporting facilities comprise one unit of a 6 kg fire extinguisher, one unit of sink/eyewash station, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and one first aid kit.

Dalam pekerjaan ini, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan seperti stres kerja, beban kerja, dan lingkungan kerja, diperiksa dalam literatur kinerja karyawan. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk membuat hipotesis tentang pengaruh antar variabel yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian selanjutnya. Berikut adalah hasil dari artikel tinjauan pustaka ini: l) Stres kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. 2) Beban kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan. 3) Lingkungan kerja mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

This study examines the concept of Pancasila as Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah from the perspective of national psychology and digital adaptation. The rapid development of digital technology has significantly transformed social interactions, communication patterns, and identity formation, particularly among younger generations. While digitalization provides opportunities for broader participation and access to information, it also presents challenges such as misinformation, polarization, and the weakening of national values. In this context, strengthening national identity becomes an important issue that requires an interdisciplinary approach. This research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies involving students, educators, and community members who actively engage in digital environments. The data were analyzed using thematic analysis, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study integrates perspectives from ideology, Islamic thought, social psychology, and digital sociology to provide a comprehensive understanding of the research problem. The findings indicate that although individuals generally understand the basic values of Pancasila, their implementation in digital behavior remains inconsistent. The concept of Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah is implicitly reflected in participants’ perceptions but has not been fully realized in active forms of digital citizenship. Digital adaptation is found to have a dual impact, as it can both strengthen and weaken national identity depending on how individuals engage with digital media. Therefore, this study concludes that strengthening national psychology in the digital era requires not only cognitive understanding but also active and participatory engagement in embodying national values. This study contributes theoretically by integrating the concepts of Pancasila, Darul Ahdi wa Syahadah, and national psychology within the context of digital transformation. Practically, it offers insights for education, policy, and society in fostering a more adaptive and value-based national identity in the digital age.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan teknik pewarnaan batik menggunakan pewarna alami berbasis limbah daun ketapang serta meningkatkan keterampilan mitra dalam menghasilkan produk batik ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan eksperimen terapan dan pelatihan kepada anggota Paguyuban Pembatik Ikat Bulan Asri di Karanglo, Malang. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan variasi bentuk bahan baku (daun, serbuk, dan bubuk), jenis pelarut (air hangat, alkohol 70%, dan metanol 99%), serta metode fiksasi menggunakan tunjung dan tawas. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa daun ketapang tua menghasilkan warna dengan intensitas paling tinggi (very bold), sedangkan bentuk bubuk menghasilkan warna yang lebih lembut (soft colour). Penggunaan fiksasi tunjung menghasilkan warna lebih gelap dibandingkan tawas. Selain itu, peserta pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan dalam proses pewarnaan alami dan mampu menghasilkan produk batik dengan variasi warna yang lebih konsisten. Kegiatan ini juga membuka peluang pengembangan usaha batik berbasis pewarna alami yang lebih ramah lingkungan. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan limbah daun ketapang terbukti efektif sebagai sumber pewarna alami yang berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas produk sekaligus mendukung keberlanjutan lingkungan dan ekonomi masyarakat.

Abstract

Mesin grinder daun berperan penting dalam proses pengolahan hasil pertanian berbasis daun. Namun, penggunaan mesin ini masih menghadirkan risiko kecelakaan kerja akibat minimnya sistem pengaman serta rendahnya efisiensi produksi akibat hasil cacahan yang tercecer. Penelitian ini bertujuan memodifikasi tutup pengaman mesin grinder daun guna meningkatkan keselamatan operator dan kapasitas produksi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah rancang bangun dengan pendekatan eksperimen yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Manufaktur Teknik Industri Universitas Wisnuwardhana Malang. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi tutup pengaman dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dari 16 kg/jam menjadi 45 kg/jam serta menurunkan potensi kecelakaan kerja secara signifikan. Modifikasi ini memberikan kontribusi positif bagi industri kecil menengah pengolahan hasil pertanian dalam meningkatkan produktivitas sekaligus memenuhi standar keselamatan kerja.
