Abstract

The evolution of the digital era has transformed organizational communication paradigms, where the rapid dissemination of information through social media can trigger reputational crises from even minor communication errors. The case of PT Eigerindo Multi Produk Industri (Eiger) illustrates how negative consumer perceptions can escalate widely due to the volatile nature of digital interactions. This study aims to analyze the role of organizational learning in addressing negative consumer perceptions in the digital era through a case study of Eiger. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method based on literature review, with data collected from academic sources, news articles, and company documents. The findings reveal that organizational learning, particularly through double-loop learning, enables the company to critically reflect on communication failures, reassess internal values, and develop more adaptive, transparent, and consumer-oriented digital communication strategies. These results highlight that organizational learning functions not only as a mechanism for reputation recovery but also as a foundation for fostering a resilient and reflective corporate culture. The study implies that continuous application of organizational learning can strengthen resilience, enhance credibility, and rebuild long-term consumer trust amidst the growing complexity of digital communication dynamics.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the high number of adolescents experiencing low self-esteem, with one of the main contributing factors being an unstable family environment or broken home. The research aims to describe the self-esteem of students from broken home families at SMK Negeri 2 Bukittinggi, based on five key aspects: (1) overall self-esteem, (2) significance, (3) competence, (4) virtue, and (5) power. A quantitative descriptive method was employed, with a sample of 144 students selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a self-esteem questionnaire and analyzed through descriptive statistical techniques. The results indicate that: (1) overall self-esteem falls into the low category, (2) the aspects of significance and competence are in the moderate category, and (3) the aspects of virtue and power are in the low category. These findings suggest that students from broken home families tend to have weak self-confidence and self-perception, particularly regarding personal virtue and strength. The study implies that Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers play a vital role in providing personal development services through individual counseling, group guidance, information services, and classroom guidance to holistically enhance students' self-esteem.

Abstract

Oral health is an important aspect of a person's general health. This study analyses the relationship between the duration of betel chewing and the status of ca-ries and oral hygiene in the 26-35-year-old population of Kampung Pomako. This quantitative cross-sectional study consisted of individuals who had a habit of chewing betel, and the sample was selected using accidental sampling techniques. Data were collected through interviews, clinical observations, and examina-tions to measure the respondents' caries status and oral hygiene status. It appears that the habit of continuous betel nut chewing and poor oral hygiene tends to increase the risk of plaque formation, tartar, and tooth discolouration. Based on the Spearman correlation test, a p-value of 0.040 (< 0.05) was obtained, which means that there is a significant relationship between the duration of betel nut chewing and dental caries status, but there is no significant relationship bet-ween the duration of betel nut chewing and dental and oral hygiene status (p-value 0.077). It is concluded that education on dental and oral hygiene is import-ant for people who have a betel nut chewing habit.
