Abstract

This study aims to analyze the performance of a 5 Wp polycrystalline solar panel 280×185×17 mm equipped with a solar tracking system and water cooling. The solar tracker optimizes sunlight capture using a Light Dependent Resistor (LDR) sensor and a servo motor as the actuator, while the water cooling system stabilizes the module temperature through water circulation with a pump and relay. Solar irradiance was measured using a pyranometer, while voltage and current were recorded every 15 minutes. The results show that the maximum power output was achieved at 09:45, reaching 5.44 W at an irradiance of 679.256 W/m² and a temperature of 36 °C. The average power output was 3.87 W under an average irradiance of 416.96 W/m², with a voltage of 5.18 V and current of 0.74 A. The implementation of solar tracking and water cooling effectively increased light absorption, maintained temperature stability.

Abstract

Background: Traditional Sape’ music, a distinctive instrument of the Dayak community, is known for its relaxing effects and potential to reduce blood pressure. Elderly individuals with hypertension often experience elevated blood pressure due to stress and anxiety. Non-pharmacological interventions such as music therapy can serve as an alternative approach to naturally stabilize blood pressure. Objective: To determine the effect of traditional Sape’ music on the blood pressure of hypertensive elderly Dayak Bakati individuals in the working area of Seluas Health Center. Methods: This study employed a pre-experimental design with a one group pretest-posttest approach. Samples were selected using purposive sampling among hypertensive Dayak Bakati elders. The intervention involved listening to traditional Sape’ music for a specific duration. Blood pressure was measured before and after the intervention using a digital sphygmomanometer. Data were analyzed using the Paired Sample t-test with a significance level of p < 0.05. Results: There was a significant reduction in both systolic and diastolic blood pressure after exposure to Sape’ music (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Traditional Sape’ music effectively reduces blood pressure in hypertensive elderly Dayak Bakati individuals. This culturally rooted music therapy can serve as a complementary non-pharmacological approach in hypertension management.

Abstract

Many people do not understand how to use household electricity safely and economically. The above problems are also experienced by residents in Cemare Hamlet, Lembar Selatan Village, Lembar District, Lombok Barat Regency. To overcome this problem, the solution offered to the residents of Cemare Hamlet is to carry out counselling regarding this matter. This counseling will enable the residents of Cemare Hamlet to understand how to use household electricity safely and economically so that it can support the safety and efficiency of sustainable use of household electricity. On the day agreed between the counselling team and the residents of the hamlet, this counselling was carried out at the house of one of the residents of the hamlet. After most of the residents had attended, the event finally began. The counseling began with remarks from the team of the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Mataram University, followed by counselling and questions and answers regarding the counselling material. Next, a written and verbal evaluation was carried out (because there were residents who were still illiterate) by the counselling team to the hamlet residents. There are 10 questions given, each worth 10 related to the counseling material that was given previously. The results obtained were that 73.33% of participants answered the questions given with a score of fair to very good, while 26.66% of participants answered the questions given with a score of very poor to poor. These results show that this counselling activity has provided knowledge to residents of Cemare Hamlet regarding the safe and economical use of household electricity.

Abstract

Every company needs employees as human resources, which has an important role as human resources, employees are one of the main supporter in process of the plantation. Oil palm plantations have quite high development prospects, with a broad scope of plantations that require high adequate management and human resources. Based on research that has been done obtained the highest productive work time on fertilizer employees 4 is (54.1%) with the lowest productive time on fertilizer employees 2 is (32.2%), for the highest unproductive time on fertilizer employees 1 (34.1%)  with the lowest non-productive time for fertilizer employees 1 (22.2%).  While the lowest personal time was on fertilizer employees 4 (19.2%) and the highest was on fertilizer employees 2 (40.7%).  The blocks have the highest productive time and lowest personal time because the terrain at turning is very heavy or hilly so that the task completion time is longer.  The effective working day at the company is 289 days with working time / year 121,380 minutes, the total number of effective employee needs is 8 (eight) people with actual employees is 17 people, the solution to overcome the excess employee is to shift work to other jobs, improve performance  in terms of starting a job on time. Abstract

COVID-19 greatly affected the company's financial condition during 2018-2021, having an impact on the creation of huge losses that it tends to cause several factors to carry out tax aggressiveness, especially among companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Tax aggressiveness or reducing the company's profit income to minimize the tax burden to avoid bankruptcy or maintaining company glory. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that influence tax aggressiveness from independent variables in the form of the current ratio, return on assets, debt-to-asset ratio, and capital intensity.Quantitative data is used in this study, including data on companies listed on the IDX for the period 2018-2021, including companies in the tourism, restaurant, and hotel industries listed on the IDX during 2018-2021. A total of 108 data or companies from 27 companies became research samples, through the purposive sampling method and using research analysis tools in the form of description analysis, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. This study partially shows the results of the current ratio variable have a positive effect, return on assets has a negative effect, debt to asset ratio and capital intensity do not effect on tax aggressiveness during 2018-2021. The current ratio variable, return on assets, debt to asset ratio and capital intensity simultaneously affect tax aggressiveness.

Abstract

The development of advanced construction technology cannot be separated from welding, as it plays an important role in constructing and repairing metal structures. At present, the construction of metal structures involves a lot of welding elements, especially in the field of good quality design. Based on the background, the problem can be formulated, namely, the effect of current strength on strength of Aisi 4340 steel joints after SMAW welding treatment. The research method used is the impact test method to see the results of the influence of strong currents in steel joints. The results of this study are the value of impact toughness at a current variation of 80 Ampere, the first specimen is 0.56080 J/mm2, the second specimen is 0.54811 J/mm2, and the third is 0.51724 J/mm2. The impact toughness value at 95 amps variation of the first sample is 0.01869 J/mm2, the second is 0.05481 J/mm2, and the third is 0.05172 J/mm2. From the test data, it can be seen that the average value of the average impact toughness in the variation of current strength of 80 Ampere and 95 Ampere is 80 Ampere current average impact toughness value of 0.54205 J/mm2 and 95 Ampere current average impact toughness value of 0.04174 J/m2. That the 80 ampere current variation is better and more efficient because it produces a higher toughness value than the 95 ampere current variation.

Abstract

The purpose of this multilevel shaft turning performance is to analyze the specimen used, namely medium carbon steel alloy and get good workpiece results, knowing the ductility of the workpiece by adjusting the tool blade, speed, time, depth of cut, and surface roughness. The research method used is the impact test method to see the results of the influence of strong currents in steel joints. The results of this study are cutting speed is very influential on the results of the surface roughness of the test material, can be seen from the data analysis and research results. The surface of the test material with the highest level of smoothness is obtained from the use of the lowest cutting speed (100 m/min) with a roughness level of (4.1). The highest roughness level (7.1) with the cutting speed used (200 m/min). The higher the cutting speed used, the greater the price of the surface roughness value obtained or produced. However, the wear of the tool blade used is likely to also affect the level of surface roughness. Geram income depends on the cutting speed, the greater the feeding motion used, the greater the thickness of the resulting geram. The smaller the cutting speed used, the smaller the resulting furrow.
