Abstract

In this study, researchers used respondent data, such as gender, age and length of work of respondents in order to provide information about relationships. Where from the questionnaires distributed as many as 30. The discussion in this chapter is the result of field studies to obtain questionnaire answer data that measures five main variables in this study, namely transformational leadership, organizational culture, achievement motivation, organizational citizen behavior and performance. Data analysis with parametric and non-parametric statistics using SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square) regarding research variables, instrument tests, normality tests, hypothesis testing, and discussion of the results of hypothesis testing and Path Analysis Path. This study uses path analysis (path analysis) to examine relationship patterns that reveal the effect of a variable or a set of other variables, both direct and indirect. The calculation of the path coefficient in this study was assisted by Smart PLS Ver 3.0. To have a direct and indirect effect between variables, the calculation results of the path coefficient and to see the significance.            The influence of the X3 variable on X4 has a P-Values value of 0.046 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X3 on X4 is significant. The influence of the X3 variable on Y with a P-Values value of 0.005 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X3 on Y is significant. The effect of the variable X4 on Y with a P-Values value of 0.010 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X4 on Y is significant. The effect of variable X1 on X4 has a P-Values value of 0.045 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X1 on X4 is significant. The effect of the variable X1 on Y with a P-Values value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X1 on Y is significant. The effect of the variable X2 on X4 has a P-Values value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X2 on X4 is significant. The effect of the variable X2 on Y with a P-Values value of 0.022 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X2 on Y is significant

Abstract

In this study, researchers used respondent data, such as gender, age and length of work of respondents in order to provide information about relationships. Where from the questionnaires distributed as many as 102. The discussion in this chapter is the result of field studies to obtain questionnaire answer data that measures five main variables in this study, namely work communication, work morale, work ethic, work motivation and performance. The influence variable X3 on Y with a P-Values value of 0.003 <0.05, so it can be stated that the influence between X3 on Y is significant. The effect of the variable X4 on Y with a P-Values value of 0.046 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X4 on Y is significant. The influence variable X1 on X4 has a P-Values value of 0.009 <0.05, so it can be stated that the influence between X1 and X4 is significant. The effect of the variable X1 on Y with a P-Values value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X1 on Y is significant. The effect of the variable X2 on X4 has a P-Values value of 0.040 <0.05, so it can be stated that the effect of X2 on X4 is significant. The study approach employs path analysis with a total sample size of one hundred lecturers from several universities in the Riau Islands. Data is obtained by using primary data that comes from questionnaires and interviews, while secondary data comes from books and journals related to research. The research results showed that the R square value for the organizational commitment variable is 0.796, which means that the percentage of motivational influence on organizational commitment is 79.6%, which means it is included in the high category. The R square value for the OCB variable is 0.630, which means that the percentage of influence of organizational motivation and commitment on OCB is 63%, which means it is included in the moderate category. The coefficient value of organizational commitment to OCB is reported to be 2,498. Therefore, organizational commitment has a positive effect on OCB and the p-value is 0.013 less than 0.05, which is statistically significant. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. The coefficient value between motivation and organizational commitment is reported to be 40,199. Therefore, motivation has a positive effect on organizational commitment and the p value is 0.000 less than 0.05, which is statistically significant. It may be concluded that motivation has a positive and significant influence on organizational commitment. The coefficient value between motivation and OCB is 2.389, indicating that motivation has a positive impact on OCB, and the p-value is 0.017 less than 0.05, which is statistically significant. Abstract

Locus of Control (LoC) is an individual's perception of the sources that control events in their lives, which are divided into two main categories: internal and external. Individuals with internal LoC tend to have higher performance because they believe that success is influenced by their own efforts and abilities, while individuals with external LoC believe that the results of their actions are more influenced by external factors that are beyond their control, such as fate, luck, situations, or the power of others. This study aims to examine the effect of Locus of Control, responsibility, and job knowledge on organizational commitment with work motivation as an intervening variable at Universitas Batam. The research method used is a causal model survey with path analysis techniques. The study population was 90 employees of Universitas Batam with census techniques. The results showed that Locus of Control had a significant effect on employee performance. These findings provide strategic recommendations for Universitas Batam in increasing organizational commitment through a deeper understanding of internal factors such as work motivation.
