Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan mengoptimalkan potensi ubi ungu sebagai produk lokal unggulan di Kelurahan Mangunsari, Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang, melalui pengembangan inovasi olahan pangan dan penguatan kapasitas usaha masyarakat. Selama ini, ubi ungu telah dibudidayakan oleh masyarakat, namun pemanfaatannya masih terbatas sebagai konsumsi rumah tangga dengan nilai tambah ekonomi yang rendah. Keterbatasan pengetahuan pengolahan, manajemen usaha, dan strategi pemasaran menyebabkan produk ubi ungu belum berkembang sebagai sumber pendapatan yang berkelanjutan. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan: (1) pemetaan potensi dan kebutuhan masyarakat; (2) pelatihan inovasi produk olahan ubi ungu (brownies, cookies, stik, keripik, dan minuman fungsional); (3) pelatihan manajemen usaha sederhana (pencatatan keuangan, perhitungan harga pokok produksi, dan analisis laba rugi); (4) pelatihan pemasaran, termasuk pengemasan, branding, dan pemasaran digital sederhana; serta (5) pendampingan dan monitoring implementasi usaha. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dalam mengolah ubi ungu menjadi produk bernilai jual, serta terbentuk beberapa kelompok usaha kecil yang mulai memproduksi dan memasarkan produk secara rutin di lingkungan kelurahan, acara lokal, dan melalui media sosial. Program ini berdampak pada penguatan kemandirian ekonomi, peningkatan rasa percaya diri, dan tumbuhnya jiwa kewirausahaan di kalangan ibu rumah tangga dan pemuda. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi antara lain keterbatasan modal, kontinuitas pasokan bahan baku, konsistensi kualitas produk, penguasaan teknologi informasi, dan legalitas produk. Melalui pendampingan berkala, pembentukan kelompok usaha, dan jejaring dengan pemerintah kelurahan serta mitra eksternal, beberapa tantangan tersebut mulai dapat diatasi secara bertahap.

Abstract

Patient safety is one of the main components in improving the quality of health services (Permatha Indah et al., 2022). Patient safety includes a series of actions aimed at preventing injury or unwanted complications during the care process (Sari, 2020; Sitepu, 2020; (Oktiana Tamba, 2020). This study aims to explore the relationship between nurses' level of knowledge about identification in patient safety and the implementation of these procedures in the inpatient room. This study used a descriptive correlational design with a quantitative approach. This design was chosen to determine the relationship between nurses' level of knowledge about identification in patient safety and the implementation of this identification in the inpatient room. Most respondents have a fairly good level of knowledge as many as 50 people (78.1%), while only 14 people (21.9%) have good knowledge. based on the implementation of identification in patient safety is quite good as many as 51 people (79.7%), while only 13 people (20.3%) carry out well. The p-value of 0.0001 indicates a significant relationship between the level of knowledge of nurses about identification in patient safety with the implementation of identification in patient safety. Understand the importance of effective education and training to improve knowledge and implementation of identification, which ultimately aims to improve patient safety.

Abstract

This article presents that Islamic education holds an essential position in building an ethical, just, and broad-minded society. However, the implementation of Islamic education faces various challenges, such as the impact of globalization, the dichotomy between religious and scientific knowledge, the lack of character education, and limited support from multiple stakeholders. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic education in shaping a civil society using a quantitative approach. The results indicate that digital interactive media—such as videos, educational applications, and learning games—have a positive impact on students’ understanding and motivation in studying Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Based on the collected data, 85% of students find it easier to understand the material through PowerPoint and interactive videos, 77% feel that learning applications help them study more flexibly, and 90% are more motivated through educational games. With strong support from various parties, the implementation of interactive media can serve as an effective solution to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning and to foster a generation of noble character.

Abstract

Brokoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica) merupakan sayuran fungsional yang diketahui mengandung berbagai senyawa bioaktif dengan potensi nutrisi dan farmakologis yang penting. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprofilkan senyawa bioaktif ekstrak brokoli yang dibudidayakan dengan perlakuan pemupukan berbeda, yaitu kontrol, pupuk kandang, dan pupuk biokonversi maggot black soldier fly (BSF). Sampel brokoli diekstraksi menggunakan etanol 80%, kemudian dianalisis dengan LC-MS/MS untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengkuantifikasi komposisi metabolit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan pupuk biokonversi maggot menghasilkan pertumbuhan tanaman yang lebih baik, meliputi tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, biomassa segar dan kering, serta persentase berbunga dibanding perlakuan lain. Selain itu, perlakuan ini juga menghasilkan metabolit yang lebih beragam dengan kelimpahan lebih tinggi, terutama golongan fenolik, terpenoid, piridazin, dan indol. Beberapa senyawa utama yang teridentifikasi antara lain Indole-3-Propionic Acid dan N(1),N(8)-Bis(Coumaroyl)Spermidine(1+), serta turunan klorofil seperti pyropheophorbide-a yang ditemukan dengan kelimpahan signifikan. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pupuk biokonversi maggot BSF mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan sekaligus profil metabolit sekunder brokoli, sehingga berpotensi sebagai strategi pemupukan ramah lingkungan untuk meningkatkan kualitas nutrisi dan fungsional tanaman ini.

Abstract

Introduction: Sarung Goyor is one of the popular textile industries in Indonesia. The manual production process results in the release of a high number of dust particles into the air, including rayon fibers, which are a major component of the fabric. Inhaling fine fibers causes respiratory tract irritation and impaired lung function. There hasn't been much research exploring rayon dust exposure related to small-scale weaving crafts. This study aims to find a relationship between rayon fibers and lung function among sarong weavers in Indonesia. Methods: A cross-sectional study was carried out at the Sarung Goyor Industry Center North Wanarejan, Pemalang, involving 101 male weavers. The data collected includes total dust and inhalable dust levels, lung function values, and ventilation area.Dust sampling was performed using the Hi-Q HVP-2000 and SKC PCXR 8000, and lung function values were measured using the Spiro LAB III according to ATS standards. Data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and correlation test. Results and Discussion: 78% of respondents experienced impaired lung function, obstructive 22%, restrictive 46.5%, and mixed 18.8%. There is a strong relationship between age and restriction (p = 0.001) as well as inhaled dust and restriction (p = 0.026). A statistically significant inverse association was identified between ventilation area and the presence of obstructions. Conclusion: Rayon has a significant impact on lung function, causing restriction and obstruction over time. Therefore, it is essential to advocate for improved workplace ventilation and the consistent use of protective masks among weavers.
