Abstract

Latar Belakang: Higiene Sanitasi merupakan salah satu upaya mendasar yang dilakukan dalam rangka mengendalikan faktor risiko yang memungkinkan terjadinya kontaminasi pada makanan baik itu berasal dari bahan makanan, tempat dan peralatan produksi atau penjamah. Pengetahuan tentang keamanan pangan akan menjadi dasar awal seseorang dalam menerapkan praktik higiene dalam tahap pengolahan makanan yang bertujuan untuk menjaga keamanan pangan. Salah satu bentuk upaya meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku penjamah makanan mengenai higiene sanitasi adalah dengan pemberian edukasi dengan media komunikasi gizi.Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Media Edukasi Gizi terhadap Keamanan Makanan ditinjau dari Perilaku dan Pengetahuan Higiene Sanitasi Penjamah Makanan Usaha Katering.Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kajian literatur (literatur review) dengan melakukan pengkajian secara kritis dari hasil temuan maupun gagasan ilmiah dari penelitian  yang telah di publikasikan sebelumnya. Artikel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari database google scholar dan PubMed dengan bantuan aplikasi Harzing’s Publish or Perish.Hasil: Peningkatan pengetahuan gizi setelah dilakukan edukasi menggunakan media gizi leaflet, booklet, poster, dan audiovisual sudah cukup efektif. Namun, perubahan perilaku praktik higiene sanitasi masih minim. Hal ini disebabkan karena adanya faktor penyediaan fasilitas catering yang kurang dan asumsi penjamah makanan yang menilai penggunaan APD menyusahkan saat bekerja.Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh media gizi terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan higiene sanitasi penjamah makanan usah katering, tetapi belum maksimal pada penerapan praktik higiene sanitasi. Kata kunci: Higiene; Sanitasi; Penjamah makanan; Katering

Abstract

Food congenital diseases are one of the most serious and threatening health problems. The number of food poisoning cases in Indonesia continues to rise, according to the Ministry of Health data. The objective of this study is to look at the effectiveness of the use of 2D media, 3D media and innovation media as interventions in improving knowledge and attitudes related to food security. The method in this study uses a quasi-experimental design with a pretest- posttest design research plan with 30 respondents. The results of the study show that use of 2-dimensional media, 3-dimensional media and food security-related innovation media is effective in enhancing knowledge and Attitude with the results of Knowledge and attitude on 2D p-value 0,005 and 0,000 (p<0,05), Knowledge & Attitude on 3D p -value 0,000 and 0.005 (p < 0,05), knowledge & attitudes on p-value innovation media 0,005, and 0.000 (p > 0,05).

Abstract

Anemia is still an unsolved problem in Indonesia. The Indonesian government has held a supplementation program for Blood Added Tablet (BAT) for female students in junior high school and high school, unfortunately this program has not been maximized. Disobedience is one of the factors causing the program doesn’t run optimally. Providing education using supporting media is one of the efforts to increase the knowledge about BAT among female students. This education is provided online by distributing broadcast through the WhatsApp application to 40 female students in X High School. Participants will work on a questionnaire whose result will be processed using SPSS ver 25. The results of providing education usinginfographics and podcast have been proven to increase female student knowledge about BAT.

Abstract

Nutrition education is needed to find out what foods are consumed by children for physical growth and cognitive development. In addition, to get used to consuming nutritious food, because eating habits from childhood will continue until adolescence to adulthood. This study aims to determine the effect of leaflet and video media on knowledge of fruit and vegetable consumption in elementary school children. This study used an extension method with leaflet and video media and a pre-post test was conducted on knowledge of fruit and vegetable consumption in elementary school children. The subjects of this research were taken by random sampling technique through questionnaires totaling 20 respondents, including grades 4-5 of elementary schools. Based on the findings of this research, it can be concluded that there is a genuine or substantial difference or effect associated with awareness of vegetable and fruit eating.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease characterized by high blood sugar levels above normal limits. Apart from being the cause of premature death globally, diabetes is also a major cause of blindness, kidney failure and heart disease. This research aims to explore the relationship between diet and diabetes mellitus. The method is literature analysis, in which information from previous publications is reviewed and summarized. The data used is secondary data. Of the five journals analyzed, all showed a significant relationship between diet and the risk of diabetes mellitus. Irregular eating patterns, consuming unhealthy foods, and not adhering to the principles of a balanced diet are the main factors in the occurrence of diabetes mellitus. Unbalanced nutritional intake and the habit of eating excessive portions can result in unstable blood sugar levels in the body. Therefore, maintaining a healthy, balanced and regular diet is key in preventing and managing diabetes mellitus, as well as reducing the risk of serious complications that can arise from this disease.

Abstract

Background: Hygiene and sanitation are health efforts by improving hygiene and health through early maintenance of individuals and their surroundings. Health problems can be contaminated through food and the surrounding environment, one of which is snacks which are currently being traded a lot. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of introspective media, animation media, media games on students' knowledge and attitudes about food hygiene and sanitation at SMPN 5 Karawang Barat. Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental approach with a pre-test and post-test design using a total sampling technique with a sample of 69 respondents. Statistical analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon signed-rank test Results: The results showed that there were significant results between knowledge and attitudes with infographic media, 3D media, and game media with a significant p-value of 0,000. Conclusions: There is an influence of infographic media, 3-dimensional media, game media on students' knowledge and attitudes regarding hygiene, sanitation of snack foods at SMPN 5 Karawang Barat schools.

Abstract

ABSTRAK                                                               Perubahan yang terjadi di masa dewasa adalah komposisi tubuh dan kebutuhan energi. Adanya perubahan komposisi tubuh dapat meningkatkan kebutuhan zat gizi individu. Asupan gizi tertentu yang tidak seimbang dapat menyebabkan masalah kesehatan. Faktor gaya hidup seperti kebiasaan makan seseorang dapat mempengaruhi sikapnya. Sikap dalam memilih makanan secara tidak langsung dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan gizi. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media poster, video, dan podcast terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap tentang isi piringku pada mahasiswa non-kesehatan. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental dengan rancangan pre-post test group design. Responden diambil dengan metode purposive sampling. Data diuji menggunakan uji Wilcoxon karena data tidak terdistribusi normal. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian yang telah dilakukan didapatkan bahwa terjadinya peningkatan pengetahuan serta sikap pada responden mengenai isi piringku, terlihat pada hasil uji rerata. Jika dilihat dari hasil p-value media yang paling berpengaruh terhadap pengetahuan adalah media video dan podcast dengan p-value (0,001). Media yang paling berpengaruh terhadap sikap responden adalah poster dan video dengan p-value (0,002) dan (0,005). Kata kunci: isi piringku; media; pengetahuan; sikap. ABSTRACTChanges that occur in adulthood are body composition and energy requirements. Changes in body composition can increase an individual's nutritional needs. Unbalanced intake of certain nutrients can cause health problems. Lifestyle factors such as a person's eating habits can influence his attitude. Attitudes in choosing food are indirectly influenced by nutritional knowledge. This community service aims to determine the effect of using posters, videos and podcasts on knowledge and attitudes about isi piringku in non-health students. The method used is quasi experimental with a pre-post test group design. Respondents were taken using a purposive sampling method. Data were tested using the Wilcoxon test because the data was not normally distributed. The results of the community service that was carried out showed that there was an increase in respondents' knowledge and attitudes regarding the contents of my plate, as seen in the average test results. If we look at the results of the p-value, the media that have the most influence on knowledge are video and podcast media with a p-value of (0.001). The media that had the most influence on respondents' attitudes were posters and videos with p-values (0.002) and (0.005). Keywords: isi piringku; media; knowledge; attitude.

Abstract

Meeting the nutritional needs of school-age children is an important factor in supporting their health and academic achievement, especially for school children who spend most of their time at school. One form of education about balanced nutrition introduced by the Indonesian government is the Isi Piringku (Fill My Plate) program. This program serves as a dietary guide that emphasizes balanced food consumption in each serving. The main objective of this study was to understand the extent of the influence of educational media such as leaflets, audiovisual videos, and games, considering the use of flashcards in conveying the concept of balanced nutrition and encouraging healthy eating behavior changes in children. Through this approach, the study sought to identify the most effective media so that it could be used as a model for nutrition education in elementary schools. The results of this study found that there was a significant increase in knowledge between the pretest and posttest conducted on the three media (p < 0.05), while a significant change in attitude only occurred in the Leaflet and Video media (p < 0.05). The Kruskal-Wallis test also showed that there was no significant difference between the three educational media (p > 0.05).

Abstract

In the national industrial sector, good and competent workers are needed, so it is necessary to increase worker productivity so that a company can compete with other companies. Productivity is a comparison between output and input relating to a person's ability to complete work based on the specified time. Factors that influence work productivity are the physical condition or nutritional status of a worker. Education can increase knowledge, attitudes and healthy living behavior. Providing nutrition education can be done using various media such as auditive, visual and audiovisual media. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of nutritional education media (brochures, videos & fans) on increasing knowledge and attitudes towards balanced nutrition on worker productivity. Quasi experimental research with a pretest and post-test group design. The sampling technique uses simple random sampling. The research sample consisted of 30 respondents. The results of the Paired Sample T-test show the influence of nutrition education media on increasing knowledge and attitudes about balanced nutrition on the productivity of PT. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, it is known that there is a significant influence of providing nutrition education (brochures, videos and fans) on increasing knowledge and attitudes towards balanced nutrition on worker productivity.

Abstract

Sleep health is important for the overall health and quality of life of workers. Workers with sleep disorders experience various physical and mental health problems, including abnormal vital signs, mood disorders, poor quality of life, frequent workplace injuries, and even premature death. The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of educational media on sleep quality and work fatigue in workers. This study uses a Quasi Experimental research form. With a design using a Pre-Post Test Design. The sample in this study were employees at Konveksi Elnino and PT. X which is engaged in paper manufacturing with a total of 36 respondents. The results of the study on 36 respondents showed that the age of respondents ranged from 23-32 years as many as 20 respondents (55.35%) and 33-49 years as many as 16 respondents (44.65%). Workers aged 15-64 years are included in productive age workers, who are considered capable of producing goods and services in the production process. Productive age can affect worker performance because with increasing age, the degenerative process in body organs decreases so that workers are more easily tired. Based on statistical tests, there was an increase in knowledge and attitudes in Calendar Media (2D) and Hand Fan Media (Innovation), while in Youtube Video Shorts Media (3D), there was no increase in knowledge and attitudes.
