Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the direct and indirect effects of organizational culture, motivation, job satisfaction and teacher performance at SMK Bintang Persada Denpasar. Causal design is used to examine the causal relationship between variables that influence and variables that are influenced. Data collection used is survey, interview, and documentation. The results of the study were further analyzed using path analysis so that it would be analyzed with a Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The results showed that organizational culture, motivation, and job satisfaction had a direct effect on teacher performance at SMK Bintang Persada Denpasar. The existence of this influence is illustrated by the condition of teachers who have an innovative nature tend to seek and apply new and more effective learning methods, which not only improve the quality of teaching but also improve students' learning experience. Innovations made by teachers are driven by high motivation to produce quality learning. The quality of quality learning is shown by learning that is more organized and structured in planning. The implementation of good learning cannot be separated from the role of superiors in carrying out the role of supervision of learning implementation. Where supervision is carried out as an evaluation of the implementation of learning carried out by teachers in the classroom. The evaluation carried out by superiors is solely to create quality learning. The results of the evaluation can be used as a reference for teachers' self-reflection on the role they play. The reflection in question is in the teacher's role as a designer and implementer of learning in the classroom. The implementation of learning well has an impact on the accuracy of a teacher's task completion. The achievement of task completion accuracy is a picture of good teacher performance. Lack of innovation in the classroom, declining quality of relationships between teachers and students, and a reduced sense of responsibility for student success. As a result, the learning process is not optimal and educational outcomes are unsatisfactory. To improve teacher job satisfaction, it is important to create a supportive work environment and provide appropriate rewards. Therefore, further research that considers long-term factors as well as the dynamics of policy and the broader education environment will provide a fuller picture of how organizational culture and motivation can affect teacher performance in a sustainable way.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the mediating role of brand image in the relationship between Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), product quality, and purchase intention for Adidas shoes. Utilizing a causal quantitative research design, the study employs Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to test the proposed hypotheses and explain the relationships between variables. The sample was selected through purposive sampling, focusing on undergraduate students at Ganesha University of Education who are familiar with the Adidas brand. The results of the study reveal that E-WOM and product quality both have positive and significant effects on consumers’ purchase intention, while brand image also independently influences purchase intention in a positive and significant manner. Moreover, the findings indicate that E-WOM and product quality each positively and significantly affect brand image. Importantly, brand image is shown to mediate the effects of both E-WOM and product quality on purchase intention, suggesting that a strong brand image serves as a form of economic capital that enhances consumer confidence and drives purchasing decisions. These results underscore the strategic importance of managing digital consumer feedback and maintaining high product standards to strengthen brand positioning and stimulate market demand. Future research could expand on these findings by incorporating variables such as brand loyalty, consumer trust, or the role of social media influencers to better understand purchasing behavior in the digital economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture, work environment, job characteristics, and work motivation on the performance of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDesa) employees in Tejakula District. The research is driven by the strategic role of BUMDesa in fostering rural economic growth and improving community welfare through effective management of local economic resources. However, challenges remain, including high levels of uncollected receivables, low employee loyalty, and underutilization of initial capital. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving all BUMDesa employees in Tejakula District as the study population. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The findings reveal that organizational culture, work environment, job characteristics, and work motivation significantly influence employee performance both simultaneously and partially. These results underscore the importance of fostering a strong organizational culture, cultivating a supportive work environment, designing jobs that align with employee competencies, and enhancing motivation to drive better performance. The practical implication of this research is the need for improved human resource strategies in BUMDesa to boost operational effectiveness and support sustainable rural economic development. The study serves as a valuable reference for BUMDesa leaders and village governments in designing strategic policies to enhance employee performance and institutional sustainability.
