Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the number of students who have low mathematical literacy skills is caused by various factors. One of the factors that affects mathematical literacy ability is learning motivation. This study aims to determine the ability of mathematical literacy when viewed from the learning motivation of students. This type of research is quantitative descriptive. The sample in this study is grade XI students of SMA Negeri 2 Padang Panjang. The sample selection technique in this study uses the Stratified random sampling technique where the sample is selected based on strata. The instrument used in this study is test questions in the form of essays to see students' mathematical literacy skills. Data analysis was carried out descriptively on all research data. The results showed that the average mathematical literacy ability was 50 which was classified as low. If viewed from high learning motivation is classified as medium with an average score of 69, when viewed from medium learning motivation has low mathematical literacy skills with an average score of 56 and mathematical literacy ability reviewed from low learning motivation is classified as low in the low category with an average score of 25

Abstract

This research was motivated by the problems found in class VIII SMPN 1 2x11 Kayutanam, namely low student learning outcomes, lack of student knowledge about the material being taught, lack of active involvement of students in the learning process. The aim of this research is to find out that students' mathematics learning outcomes using the Active Knowledge Sharing strategy are better than student learning outcomes using conventional learning. This type of research is pre-experimental research with a research design, namely The Static Group Comparison Design. The population in this study were all students in class VIII of SMP N 1 2X11 Kayutanam. The sample in this research was class VIII.1 students as the experimental class and class VIII.2 students as the control class. The instrument used is an essay test. Based on the results of the final test analysis calculated using the t-test, tcount = 5.04 and ttable = 1.67. Because tcount > ttable. So, reject H0 and accept H1. So, it can be concluded that students' mathematics learning outcomes using the Active Knowledge Sharing strategy are better than student learning outcomes using conventional learning in class VIII SMP N 1 2x11 Kayutanam Academic Year 2022/2023

Abstract

This research is based on the low mathematical problem-solving ability of students, one of which is because during the learning process students tend to be silent and not confident when answering the practice questions given, there is no courage to answer every question given. The purpose of this study is to find out students' mathematical problem-solving ability reviewed from mathematical disposition. This type of research is a qualitative description research. The research subjects were selected 3 students out of 29 students, namely, one student for each category of mathematical disposition, including high, medium, and low mathematical disposition categories. The instruments used are questionnaire instruments, mathematical problem-solving ability tests, and interview guidelines. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawn. The data validity technique used is triangulation technique. Based on the results of this study, students with a high category of mathematical disposition have a level of mathematical problem-solving ability with a very good category. Then students with a moderate category of mathematical disposition have a level of mathematical problem-solving ability with a sufficient category. Furthermore, students with a low category of mathematical disposition have a different level of mathematical problem-solving ability, which is less and less

Abstract

This research was motivated by seeing from several students who had good and poor memorization scores for the Qur'an, a striking gap in mathematics scores between students who had good memorization and students who had poor memorization. Based on this background, researchers are interested in conducting research on the influence of memorizing the Al-Qur'an on students' mathematics learning outcomes. The aim of the research was to find out whether there was a significant influence of memorizing the Qur'an on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students at the Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi Tahfizhul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. The type of research used is population research with the nature of correlational research using regression. The population of this research is all class This research data is the result of documentation of Al-Qur'an memorization scores and students' mathematics learning achievement tests. The regression equation is Y = 32.117 + 0.628X. Meanwhile, the results of hypothesis testing obtained t = 4.007 and t table = 2.604 at a significance level of 5%, so that H 0 was rejected and H 1 was accepted with a coefficient of determination = 40.1% . So, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of memorizing the Qur'an on the mathematics learning outcomes of class X students at the Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi Tahfizhul Qur'an Islamic Boarding School. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh dilihat dari beberapa siswa yang mempunyai nilai hafalan Al-Qur’an yang bagus dan kurang bagus, kesenjangan nilai matematika yang mencolok antara siswa yang memiliki hafalan yang bagus dan siswa yang memiliki hafalan yang kurang bagus. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, peneliti tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian mengenai pengaruh hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X di Pondok Pesantren Tahfizhul Qur’an Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian populasi dengan sifat penelitian korelasional menggunakan regresi. Populasi dari penelitian ini yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X di Pondok Pesantren Tahfizhul Qur’an Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi yang terdiri dari satu kelas berjumlah 26 orang siswa. Data penelitian ini yaitu hasil dari dokumentasi nilai hafalan Al-Qur’an dan tes hasil belajar matematika siswa. Persamaan regresinya yaitu Y = 32,117 + 0,628X. Sedangkan hasil pengujian hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 4,007 dan ttabel = 2,604 pada tingkat signifikan 5%, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima dengan hasil koefesien determinasi = 40,1%. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan hafalan Al-Qur’an terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas X di Pondok Pesantren Tahfizhul Qur’an Syech Ahmad Chatib Al-Minangkabawi.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas hasil belajar adalah minat atau keinginan peserta didik dalam belajar. Namun pada pembelajaran matematika di SMPN 3 Ampek Angkek minat belajar peserta didik tergolong rendah. Dalam upaya membangkitkan minat belajar matematika, pendidik dapat memanfaatkan media pembelajaran, salah satunya Elektronik Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (E-LKPD) berbantuan Liveworksheets. Hal ini disesuaikan dengan kondisi sekolah yang memperbolehkan peserta didik menggunakan smarthphone selama proses pembelajaran dalam pengawasan guru. Dengan memanfaatkan penggunaan smarthphone dan mengkombinasikannya dengan LKPD, penelitian ini berupaya menghasilkan E-LKPD berbantuan Liveworksheets untuk memfasilitasi pencapaian minat belajar matematika peserta didik di kelas VII SMPN 3 Ampek Angkek. Analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi merupakan paradigma pengembangan ADDIE yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuesioner minat belajar matematika, lembar validasi ahli, dan survei respons siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-LKPD dengan Liveworksheets sebagai pelengkap memiliki tingkat validitas 80%, tingkat kepraktisan 79% yang memenuhi kriteria "praktis", dan tingkat efektivitas 80% yang memenuhi kriteria "Tinggi". Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-LKPD dengan Liveworksheets yang dibuat untuk membantu siswa kelas VII SMPN 3 Ampek Angkek dalam mengerjakan PR matematika telah berhasil memenuhi ketiga kriteria tersebut.

Abstract

Low mathematics learning outcomes and students' mathematics activities and the learning process tend to be centered on the teacher. One alternative to overcome this problem is to apply the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (A.I.R.) learning model. Student activity is seen from the student activity sheet data, including whether the student is included in the criteria categorized as active or very active. The study aimed to determine whether the ability of students' mathematics learning outcomes and students' mathematics activities using the Auditory Intellectually Repetition (A.I.R.) model was better than conventional learning for class VIII students of MTsN 3 Lima Puluh Kota—the type of pre-experimental research with a Static Group Comparison Design research design. The population of the study was all students of class VIII MTsN 3 Lima Puluh Kota, consisting of 3 classes. The research sample consisted of students from class VIII.3, as an experimental class, and students from class VIII.2, as a control class, using the simple random sampling technique. The research instrument tested students' mathematics learning outcomes through essay questions—data analysis techniques with percentages for student learning activities and t-tests for students' mathematics learning outcomes. Based on the results of the analysis and student learning activities, an average rate of 90.56% was obtained with the criteria of very active. Meanwhile, from the analysis of students' mathematics learning outcomes data, it was obtained that tcount > ttable, namely tcount = 11.50 and ttable = 1.67. The testing criteria are accepted H0 if tcount > ttable; otherwise, reject H0. Based on the calculation, it was obtained that tcount > ttable, namely 11.50 > 1.67, meaning that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted, so the Auditory intellectual repetition (A.I.R.) learning model is better than conventional learning in class VIII MTsN 3 Lima Puluh Kota.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendekatan KWL (Know-Want to Know-Learned) terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 6 Agam. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol dengan posttest sederhana sehingga termasuk jenis penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 6 Agam tahun ajaran 2024-2025. Kelas eksperimen, kelas VII.1, dan kelas kontrol, kelas VII.7, masuk dalam sampel penelitian. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan pendekatan random sampling. Pendekatan pembelajaran KWL berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 6 Agam berdasarkan model pembelajaran H1 (Hipotesis Alternatif), sedangkan H0 (Hipotesis Alternatif) Diklaim bahwa hasil pembelajaran tidak terpengaruh oleh teknik pembelajaran KWL tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil hipotesis, teknik pembelajaran KWL berpengaruh signifikan tentang tujuan pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri 6 Agam.

Abstract

This journal is motivated by students who still find it difficult to solve mathematical problems in the form of problems that lead to an understanding of the concept of a certain subject, so that students cannot answer the questions perfectly. The students' difficulties can be seen from the answers of students working on the concept of understanding problems given. Another situation that is also still happening in the field is the lack of awareness of students about the importance of learning mathematics, for example, there are still some students who when learning mathematics are just sitting in class without taking notes on the material. This is due to a lack of confidence, a sense of responsibility and initiative from students during the teaching and learning process. To overcome the above problems, and to improve students' understanding of concepts and Self-Regulated Learning, various efforts can be made by using a learning model that can actively involve students in learning. One of the learning models that can be used is the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model. Related to this, the researcher tried to conduct research on the influence of the jigsaw-type cooperative learning model on the understanding of mathematical concepts and Self-Regulated Learning of grade students. This type of research is a type of pre-experimental research. This study uses the research design of The Static Group Comparison. The population of this study is all grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Bukittinggi in 2023/2024. The sampling technique used is random sampling first carried out normality tests, homogeneity tests, and average similarity tests of population data. The samples in this study are class VIII.A as the experimental class and class VIII.B as the control class. The research instruments used are Self-Regulated Learning questionnaires and tests for understanding mathematical concepts. The data analysis technique used is the t-test. The results of the study found that bakaghu religious activities have a deep meaning Based on the analysis of the data of the research results, it was obtained that the understanding of mathematical skills and Self-Regulated Learning of students who participated in learning with the jigsaw method was better than students who participated in learning with conventional methods in grade. The average score of the experimental class was 3.31 and the control class was 2.26. Meanwhile, the overall final average score in the experimental class was 57,54 and the control class was 45,04.

Abstract

Learning activities are a series of physical and spiritual exercises that are carried out actively which result in better behavior when learning new things. Learning outcomes are qualities that are achieved by modifying behavior that are enduring, consistent, and result from education or experience gained through the subject matter and which can be measured based on the teacher's assessment. This study aims to find out whether the activities and learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA at SMAN 5 Bukittinggi in 2022 show an increase using the jigsaw cooperative learning model in circle material. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) on 34 students of SMAN 5 Bukittinggi in class XI MIPA 2 in the odd semester of the 2022 school year as research subjects. Based on the findings of research data, student learning activities increased from quite active to active, and student learning outcomes were obtained using the average value (X), Absorption (DS) and Learning Mastery (KB) increased from cycle I to cycle II respectively of 28.58, 28.58%, and 120%.  Aktivitas belajar adalah rangkaian latihan jasmani dan rohani yang dilakukan secara aktif yang menghasilkan tingkah laku yang lebih baik ketika mempelajari hal-hal baru. Hasil belajar adalah kualitas yang dicapai dengan modifikasi perilaku yang bertahan lama, konsisten, dan dihasilkan dari pendidikan atau pengalaman yang diperoleh melalui mata pelajaran dan yang dapat diukur berdasarkan penilaian guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Bukittinggi 2022 menunjukkan peningkatan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada materi lingkaran. Adapun Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) terhadap 34 siswa SMAN 5 Bukittinggi di kelas XI MIPA 2 pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2022 dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Berdasarkan temuan data penelitian, aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dari cukup aktif menjadi aktif, dan hasil belajar siswa didapatkan menggunakan nilai rata-rata (X), Daya Serap (DS) dan Ketuntasan Belajar (KB) meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II berturut-turut sebesar 28,58, 28,58%, dan 120%.

Abstract

Interest is a very important element for the success of student learning. Male and female students also have differences in paying attention to the learning process. Not only that, in terms of interest in learning mathematics, male and female students also have differences. Discipline in learning mathematics for male students and female students also sees differences. This research is a qualitative research. The instrument of this study were observation and questionnaires. The questionnaire used in this study was a questionnaire about students interest in learning mathematics. This research was conducted because there were differences between male students and female students interest in learning mathematics. The research was conducted to find out the interest in learning mathematics for Madrasah Tsanawiyah student based on gender. This research was conducted atMTsN 5 Agam. The population of this study were students of class VIII MTsN 5 Agam in 8 classes. Sampling of this research by urosive sampling technique. The subjects of this study were 27 students in class VIII-H MTsN 5 Agam, consisting of 10 male students and 17 female students. The result of this study showed that the percentage of the result of the questionnaire answered by female students was 59,64%, which means that most female students have an interest in learning mathematics. And male student have a percentage of 55,75% meaning that most male students are interested in learning mathematics. Keywords : Interest in learning, learning mathematics.
