Abstract

Various studies have been conducted to reveal the order / beauty of the composition and style of language and the contents of Alquran, both in terms of language and numbers contained in Alquran. This study aims to find the mathematical design contained in the letter Al Ikhlas. Surah Al Ikhlas was chosen because of a hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari from Abu Sa'id. Someone heard someone else reading Al Ikhlas and he repeated it. When morning came, he told Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. As if the man was not satisfied with one reading. So the Prophet said, "For the sake of my soul which is in His grasp. The letter is equal to one third of Alquran ". This type of research is a descriptive study that reveals mathematical design in the letter Al Ikhlas. The data used are the constituent figures in Surah Al Ikhlas. The results of the study revealed 12 patterns contained in the letter Al Ikhlas, one of which many different syafatani letters are Fibonacci sequence.

Abstract

In the process of trading, the supply of goods is needed, furthemore in the competition of trading. Therefore, the supply of the the goods are needed, in order to maintain consumer trust toward the sales unit, which assumes the the availability of the goods. This study will analyze the calculation of the demand and the selling of goods in UD.Jasa Tani that impact to supply of the goods in that trading business. Thus, to solve the problems, the researcher tries to simulate the calculations on that business trade with probabilistic and deterministic comparison method in order to give solution to the problems that occur in that business trade. Dalam proses jual beli ketersediaan stok barang sangat diperlukan, apalagi dengan adanya persaingan dalam proses jual beli. Oleh karena itu ketersediaan barang sangat diperlukan, guna menjaga kepercayaan konsumen terhadap suatu unit penjualan, yang menganggap di tempat tersebut ketersediaan barangnya selalu terjaga. Penelitian ini akan menganalisis perhitungan terhadap laju penjualan dan permintaan barang yang terjadi pada UD. Jasa Tani yang berakibat pada ketersediaan stok barang pada usaha dagang tersebut. Maka untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang terjadi, peneliti mencoba untuk mensimulasikan perhitungan penjualan pada usaha dagang tersebut dengan metode perbandingan probabilistik dan deterministik sehingga diharapkan ini, bisa mempermudah proses analisa, sehingga bisa memberikan solusi untuk permasalahan yang terjadi di usaha dagang tersebut.

Abstract

Interest is a very important element for the success of student learning. Male and female students also have differences in paying attention to the learning process. Not only that, in terms of interest in learning mathematics, male and female students also have differences. Discipline in learning mathematics for male students and female students also sees differences. This research is a qualitative research. The instrument of this study were observation and questionnaires. The questionnaire used in this study was a questionnaire about students interest in learning mathematics. This research was conducted because there were differences between male students and female students interest in learning mathematics. The research was conducted to find out the interest in learning mathematics for Madrasah Tsanawiyah student based on gender. This research was conducted atMTsN 5 Agam. The population of this study were students of class VIII MTsN 5 Agam in 8 classes. Sampling of this research by urosive sampling technique. The subjects of this study were 27 students in class VIII-H MTsN 5 Agam, consisting of 10 male students and 17 female students. The result of this study showed that the percentage of the result of the questionnaire answered by female students was 59,64%, which means that most female students have an interest in learning mathematics. And male student have a percentage of 55,75% meaning that most male students are interested in learning mathematics. Keywords : Interest in learning, learning mathematics.

Abstract

Learning activities are a series of physical and spiritual exercises that are carried out actively which result in better behavior when learning new things. Learning outcomes are qualities that are achieved by modifying behavior that are enduring, consistent, and result from education or experience gained through the subject matter and which can be measured based on the teacher's assessment. This study aims to find out whether the activities and learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA at SMAN 5 Bukittinggi in 2022 show an increase using the jigsaw cooperative learning model in circle material. The research method used was Classroom Action Research (PTK) on 34 students of SMAN 5 Bukittinggi in class XI MIPA 2 in the odd semester of the 2022 school year as research subjects. Based on the findings of research data, student learning activities increased from quite active to active, and student learning outcomes were obtained using the average value (X), Absorption (DS) and Learning Mastery (KB) increased from cycle I to cycle II respectively of 28.58, 28.58%, and 120%.  Aktivitas belajar adalah rangkaian latihan jasmani dan rohani yang dilakukan secara aktif yang menghasilkan tingkah laku yang lebih baik ketika mempelajari hal-hal baru. Hasil belajar adalah kualitas yang dicapai dengan modifikasi perilaku yang bertahan lama, konsisten, dan dihasilkan dari pendidikan atau pengalaman yang diperoleh melalui mata pelajaran dan yang dapat diukur berdasarkan penilaian guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah aktivitas dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI MIPA SMAN 5 Bukittinggi 2022 menunjukkan peningkatan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw pada materi lingkaran. Adapun Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) terhadap 34 siswa SMAN 5 Bukittinggi di kelas XI MIPA 2 pada semester gasal tahun ajaran 2022 dijadikan sebagai subjek penelitian. Berdasarkan temuan data penelitian, aktivitas belajar siswa meningkat dari cukup aktif menjadi aktif, dan hasil belajar siswa didapatkan menggunakan nilai rata-rata (X), Daya Serap (DS) dan Ketuntasan Belajar (KB) meningkat dari siklus I ke siklus II berturut-turut sebesar 28,58, 28,58%, dan 120%.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the positive effect of using Learner Worksheets (LKPD) on motivation to learn mathematics on quadratic function material in class IX at MTsN 11 Agam. Math learning motivation is a key factor in improving students' academic performance and strengthening their understanding of complex mathematical concepts. This research is a quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study were ninth grade students at MTsN 11 Agam with a sample of 50 students. The collection technique used a Likert scale questionnaire by calculating the average percentage score of each indicator. The results of this study indicate that the use of LKPD on quadratic function material has a significant positive impact on students' motivation to learn mathematics. This confirms that LKPD can be an effective tool in triggering students' motivation to understand and master mathematical concepts, especially in material that is considered difficult such as quadratic functions. This is because there is an increase in the average learning motivation from before using LKPD of 58,60% to 78,30% after using LKPD. LKPD is also categorized as good for its feasibility as indicated by the average student response for each indicastor in the interval 70 < x ≤ 85. This research provides valuable insights into the important role of LKPD in increasing students' motivation to learn mathematics. The results of this study can be used as a foundation for the development of.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach increases student independence in learning mathematics. This type of research is pre-experimental or Static Group Comparison methodology. The study population is all grade VII students enrolled in SMP Negeri 3 Pulau Punjung, Dharmasraya Regency for the 2022–2023 school year. The technique used is random sampling. The research sample came from grade VII.1 students who were used as an experimental class with a total of 22 students, and VII.4 which was used as a control class with a total of 20 students. The results of the questionnaire analysis of students' independence in mathematics learning were obtained tcalculate = 5.042 and ttabel = 1.68. because if tcount>ttable then H0 is rejected. Therefore, it can be concluded that there are differences in student learning independence in the problem-base learning model compared to conventional learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the development of mathematics education in Indonesia. To overcome this problem, teachers play a role in overcoming students' learning difficulties in mathematics subjects, especially in critical thinking skills. One alternative to solve this problem is to apply open ended learning. Open ended learning is learning that presents problems by solving problems in various ways and the solutions are also varied. This research aims to find out whether the critical thinking abilities of students using an open-ended learning approach are better than the critical thinking abilities of students using conventional learning. This type of research is experimental research with circle subject matter. The population in this study was all class VIII students, totaling 91 students. The location of this research is MTs Negeri 1 Solok. The sampling technique uses random sampling. The research instrument is in the form of posttest questions. The calculation obtained ????ℎ???????????????????? > ???? 0.95;41, namely 2.84 > 2.019 and ???????????????????????? = 0.983 at the significance level α = 0.05 so it is rejected. The experimental class average was 66.71 and the control class average was 54.73.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya permasalahan yang ditemukan di kelas VII SMPN 02 Talamau. Berdasarkan observasi, diketahui bahwa pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII masih tergolong rendah yaitu berkisar 55% sampai 64%. Diduga penyebabnya adalah penggunaan model pembelajaran yang masih monoton sehingga menyebabkan siswa menjadi kurang aktif selama mengikuti pembelajaran. Salah satu upaya untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan model model pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMPN 02 Talamau Kabupaten Pasaman Barat TA 2022/2023. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pra-eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian posstest-only control design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMPN 02 Talamau Kabupaten Pasaman Barat TA 2022/2023. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian diperoleh dari tes pemahaman konsep matematis siswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan software SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh = 2,669 dan = 1,68 diperoleh harga > dan uji software SPSS 0,011 < 0,05 sehingga ditolak dan diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan model pembelajaran flipped classroom terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas VII SMPN 02 Talamau Kabupaten Pasaman Barat TA 2022/2023.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada penentuan bilangan rainbow connection pada graf buku, terutama graf buku dengan bentuk segitiga, segi empat, serta segi lima. Graf buku segitiga, disimbolkan sebagai BT_n, dihasilkan dari penggabungan sisi pada graf lingkaran C_3. Graf buku segi empat, disimbolkan sebagai BE_n, dihasilkan dari penggabungan sisi pada graf lingkaran C_4. Sedangkan graf buku segi lima, disimbolkan sebagai BL_n, dihasilkan dari penggabungan sisi pada graf lingkaran C_5. Bilangan rainbow connection pada sebuah graf terhubung G ditulis rc(G), yang didefinisikan sebagai jumlah warna minimum yang dibutuhkan untuk menjadikan graf G menjadi terhubung secara rainbow. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, melalui teknik studi pustaka dan analisis data non-statistik. Adapun hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa bilangan rainbow connection pada Graf Buku Segitiga yaitu 1 jika n=1, 2 jika n=2, dan 3 untuk n≥3. Bilangan rainbow connection pada Graf Buku Segi Empat adalah 2 jika n=1, 3 jika n=2, dan 4 untuk n≥3. Sedangkan bilangan rainbow connection pada Graf Buku Segi Lima yaitu 3 jika n=1, 4 jika n=2, dan 6 untuk n≥3.

Abstract

This study aims to see whether there is a relationship between the Grade Point Average (GPA) and length of study to comprehensive exam scores. This research is descriptive quantitative research. The population of this research is graduated students of the mathematics education study program at IAIN Bukittinggi for the last 4 years; students who have graduated in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, consisting of 353 people. The sample was 15% of 353 people (53 people). The data analysis technique was statistical analysis in which the step started by firstly carrying out the prerequisite analysis test. Next, the hypothesis test is carried out. The results showed that the results of the first correlation test that had been carried out had a relationship between the Grade Point Average and the student's comprehensive score. From data analysis through correlation analysis, it obtained 0.318 with a coefficient of determination of 10.112%. It means that there is a relationship between the Grade Point Average and the student's comprehensive score. This shows that the relationship between GPA and the compressive score is positive even though it is weak. The second correlation test which was carried out did not show any relationship between the length of study and the student's comprehensive score. From the analysis of the data through correlation analysis, it was obtained -0.278 which indicated that the relationship between the length of study and the compression value had a negative score and had weak relationship strength. Based on the third hypothesis test that has been carried out there is no relationship between the Grade Point Average (GPA) and the length of study with the student's comprehensive score.
