Abstract

The problem in this study is the low activity, critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes in the subject of science, which is caused by less meaningful learning, one-way, and a lack of activities to sharpen critical thinking. The solution applied is the MAHIR learning model. The purpose of this study is to describe teacher activities and analyze student activities, critical thinking skills, and learning outcomes. The study used a qualitative approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR) during three meetings in grade V SDN Pangeran 2 in the 2024/2025 academic year, with nine students as subjects. Data were collected through observation and written tests, then analyzed descriptively using cross tables. The results showed that teacher activity became "Very Good", student activity increased from 44% to 89%, students' critical thinking skills increased from 33% to 89%, and student learning outcomes completion increased from 44% to 89%. In conclusion, the MAHIR model is effective in improving the quality of learning. This model is recommended for teachers, principals, and researchers as an innovative alternative in learning.

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine financing in improving customer welfare at PNM Mekaar Syariah in Tajung Laut Village. The purpose of this study is to understand the effectiveness of financing in helping customers improve their welfare at PNM Mekaar in Tanjung Laut Village. This study employs a quantitative approach, which is a field research type, as it gathers information through direct observation in the field and data management. The types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data, while the data sources in this study were obtained from the results of observations, questionnaires and documentation directly to customers. Data analysis techniques were carried out using instrument tests, classical assumption tests and simple linear regression analysis tests.The results of this study indicate that customer income increased after taking financing from PNM Mekaar Syariah in Tanjung Laut Village, because PNM provides various services that help customers develop their businesses. The expenses of customers who take financing at PNM have also been met, including food and non-food expenses. Financing from PNM Mekaar Syariah in Tanjung Laut Village has not been fully able to improve the level of family education, because one of the customers has not met the educational needs of one of his children. The health level of the customer's family has been improved through this financing, as evidenced by a healthy lifestyle, routine check-ups, and the purchase of health products. PNM has also improved the welfare of financing customers in terms of housing conditions and facilities owned in the household, this is supported by the results of distributing questionnaires directly to customers.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan mata pelajaran fundamteal yang memiliki peran penting dalam pendidikan dasar. Akan tetapi, dalam praktiknya masih banyak siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD) yang mengalami kendala dalam memahami konsep matematika, khususnya pada materi operasi hitung penjumlahan dan pengurangan Permasalahan pendidikan diwilayah pesisir seringkali berkutat pada rendahnya motivasi belajar matematika akibat metode pengajaran yang monoton dan minimnya alat peraga, meskipun potensi lingkungan sekitar sangat melimpah. Peneliti menginisiasi program penggunaan media konkret kerang berhitung sebagai media manipulative untuk membantu konsep dasar matematika(penjumlahan, penguranan, dan pola) bagi siswa di pesisir klademak kota sorong. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi observasi dan indentifikais masalah, pembuatan media kerang berhitung, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan Evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan kerang berhitung meningkatkan keterlibatan aktif siswa, mempermudah pemahamana konsep abstrak menjadi konkrit, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif secara signifikan melalui pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan kontekstual.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) play a strategic role in fostering santripreneurship by integrating religious values with entrepreneurial skills to achieve economic independence. Pesantren Al-Hijrah owns 2,000 m² of waqf land and an idle fish pond; however, limited knowledge and skills in catfish farming hinder the utilization of these assets. This community service program aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of santri and teachers in catfish farming and to optimize pesantren assets for economic empowerment. The program was conducted from March 2–17, 2025, involving 13 santri and four teachers, using an action research design with an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through four stages: Discovery, Dream, Design, and Destiny. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed descriptively. The results show a significant increase in participants’ competencies, with 100% able to explain the stages of farming, 94% able to select high-quality fingerlings, 88% able to master feeding and disease control, and 82% able to understand marketing strategies. Technical skills improved, with full participation in pond preparation and stocking, while entrepreneurial motivation reached 88%. Pesantren assets were successfully activated through the productive utilization of ponds and the strengthening of local practitioner networks. The ABCD approach proved effective in empowering santri and teachers toward sustainable santripreneurship. Continuous mentoring and institutional partnerships are recommended to ensure program sustainability.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk meningkatan aktifitas belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 kabupaten sorong melalui penerapan pendekatan open – ended Berbasis PAIKEM.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Quasi Eksperimen, Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa metode tes hasil belajar, aktivitas belajar, dan angket respon siswa. Instrumen Penelitian di Validasi oleh Validator. Hasil penelitian Pada uji-t diperoleh nilai uji t yaitu sebesar 4.851 dengan sebesar 0,000 nilai. Terdapat peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa pada kelas yang diajar dengan diterapkan pendekatan open-ended berbasis PAIKEM dapat dilihat pada observasi aktivitas belajar siswa kelas eksperimen pada pertemuan Pertama Jumlah keseluruhannya sebesar 59% dan pertemuan terakhir sebesar 69% sedangkan kelas kontrol pertemuan pertama sebesar 43%, pertemuan terakhir sebesar 50% dan respon siswa kelas eksperimen selama pembelajaran berlangsung rata-rata jawaban siswa adalah 72,15 berada pada kategori Baik Sekali. Dengan demikian Penerapan pendekatan open-ended berbasis PAIKEM dapat meningkatkan aktifitas belajar siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 6 Kabupaten Sorong.
