Abstract

The role of educators in learning innovation is very important, judging from the development of the era which is currently an all-digital model. Educators are required to be able to pursue that development by applying it to the learning process in schools. This effort is to attract and make it easier for students to receive the material presented by educators. The method used in this study is a literature study with a descriptive quantitative type of research with a literature review. In this study, the authors used various written sources such as articles, journals, and documents relevant to the study in this study. The results of the study show that innovation is a process of renewal and change. In the field of education, innovation is needed to continue to develop following other fields. The use of this technology has a positive and negative impact, but the impact can be focused on positive impacts and minimize the negative impact if there is good cooperation from various parties so that the use of technology is in accordance with its goals.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a framework that explains ethical considerations in the responsible development of Information Systems (IS) related to artificial intelligence (AI). The research method used involved a thorough literature review to identify relevant ethical principles in the context of AI and IS. Apart from that, an in-depth analysis of various existing models and frameworks was also carried out to understand ethical considerations in technology development. The result of this research is a framework consisting of a series of ethical principles that must be considered at every stage of IS development that uses AI technology. This framework considers not only the technical aspects of system development, but also relevant social, legal and cultural aspects. Through the application of this framework, IS developers can ensure that the resulting products are not only of high technical quality, but also pay attention to their impact on individuals, society and the environment. The conclusions of this research emphasize the importance of including ethical considerations as an integral part of the IS development process that uses AI to achieve the goals of socially responsible technology development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form and impact of interpersonal communication, self-disclosure, the use of second account on Instagram, a study on Communication Science Students Class of 2020 at Balitar Islamic University Blitar. This research uses qualitative descriptive methods and uses purposive sampling techniques in collecting informants. Data collection using techniques: Interview, Observation, Documentation. The results of this study are forms of interpersonal communication self-disclosure (self-disclosure) on second Instagram accounts, Communication Science Students Class of 2020 photos, videos and meaningful words (quotes) on Instagram stories and feeds. The positive impact encountered, students can get to know themselves, the effectiveness of communication between informants and second account followers, avoid stress, feelings of relief, the emergence of emotional feelings such as empathy and mutual support, and maintain privacy. The negative impact obtained by informants is unpleasant comments, a sense of concern about the perspective of others, and dependence on second account.

Abstract

Palm shell has great potential as an adsorbent material due to its porosity and thermal stability, but its high moisture content can affect its surface area and absorption capacity. This study aims to optimize the drying process of palm shells to enhance their adsorption performance by applying an exponential model. The drying process was carried out at a temperature of 80°C with time variations ranging from 1 to 6 hours. Parameters measured included wet and dry moisture content, Moisture Ratio (MR), and drying rate. The results showed that drying the palm shell for 4 hours yielded the best results, with a reduction in wet moisture content by 19-21% and dry moisture content by 23-28%. The exponential model analysis provided drying rate constants for the three samples of 0.0443, 0.0238, and 0.0159, respectively. The measured MR graph compared with the model predictions showed a very good fit, with an R² value close to 1, meaning the exponential model is effective in predicting the drying rate. Adsorption performance was tested using a Dylon dye solution with a concentration of 25 ppm, where the palm shell was able to adsorb up to 85% of the dye within 180 minutes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the ability of mathematical reasoning in solving story problems according to Polya's steps. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection techniques were interviews, observations and mathematical reasoning tests. The research instrument used mathematical reasoning test questions in the form of 6 reasoning questions based on multiplication story problems, interview sheets, and observation sheets. The subject in this study was one fourth grade student of SDN 3 Bulung Kulon in the high category. The results showed that students in the high category could complete all indicators of mathematical reasoning completely by using Polya's steps, namely understanding the problem, planning problem solving, implementing problem solving planning, and rechecking the answers.

Abstract

Pondok Pesantren Syekh Hamzah Al-Fansury in Subulussalam City emphasizes high-quality educational services, including managing the monthly Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) payments for approximately 300 students. The growing number of students requires the development of a more efficient and detailed payment system. Currently, payments are processed manually, which can be inefficient. Transactions are recorded using cards and then manually entered into a ledger by the treasurer. This system risks errors and data loss, especially if a payment card is lost. The introduction of an SPP payment application is expected to improve data efficiency and security. Payments will be accurately recorded and securely stored in a database. The use of a computerized system will also help minimize errors and facilitate access to payment data, particularly in generating financial reports. This study aims to develop a web-based SPP payment application for Pondok Pesantren Syekh Hamzah Al-Fansury. A qualitative approach was used to understand the needs of potential users, while the waterfall method of software development was chosen to ensure a structured design process. The results show that the application effectively simplifies the payment process, generates receipts, and presents reports accurately. This application is expected to provide an effective solution to enhance the quality of SPP payment services for students at Pondok Pesantren Syekh Hamzah Al-Fansury.

Abstract

The dynamics of society and culture have an influence on the development of education systems in the world. Changes in social structures, cultural values, and technological advances can influence aspects of education, from the curriculum, learning methods, to the goals of education itself. This article aims to analyze the impact of changing societal and cultural dynamics on education, with a focus on how these factors shape perspectives on education, the relevance of the curriculum, and the development of students' skills and character. Apart from that, this article also discusses the challenges faced by the education system in responding to changes in culture and society, such as the need for multicultural education, adaptation to technological advances, and increasing awareness of diversity. With an analytical approach, this article provides insight into the importance of integrating social and cultural dynamics in designing an education system that is more responsive, inclusive and relevant to the needs of the times. It is hoped that the findings in this analysis can contribute to the development of education policy.

Abstract

Analysis of student response and activity in daring learning using zoom aims to see and describe the process of daring learning , so an analysis of student responses and activeness is needed during the brave learning process so that learning objectives are met even though the learning process is not carried out directly or face to face. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects used were Information Technology Education students at Aisyah Pringsewu University. Data collection techniques used are interviews, observations and field notes. Research is done boldly. The data analysis technique uses the Miles & Huberman model which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and verification. The results of the study show that the zoom application can support the learning process of challenges, students respond well during the learning process of challenges but sometimes there are problems with the signal/network, and students are active during the learning process by conducting questions and answers during discussions.

Abstract

Pembelajran yang inovatif dengan metode yang berpusat pada mahasiswa (Student Centered Learning) memiliki keragaman model pembelajaran yang menuntut partisipasi aktif dari mahasiswa. Metode-metode pembelajaran yang digunakan yaitu berbagi informasi (Information Sharing), belajar dari pengalaman (Experience Based) dan pembelajaran melalui Pemecahan Masalah (Problem Solving Based). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan mengexplorasikan data berbentuk penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan dalam perkuliahan organisasi arsitektur komputer pada program studi Pendidikan Teknologi Informasi (PTI) Universitas Aisyah Pringsewu (UAP). Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa PTI yang mengikuti perkuliahan organisasi arsitektur komputer. Sumber data dalam penelitian menggunakan sumber data sekunder berupa informasi yang dikumpulkan berdasarkan penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Hasil pengolahan data statistik rhitung dengan rtabe, diperoleh rhitung = 0,497 > rtabel= 0,2108 (dalam taraf sifnifikansi 5%). Kemudian setelah dilakukan uji keberartian diperoleh hasil thitung = 5,285 > ttabel = 1,66298 (dalam taraf signifikansi 5%). nilai Fhitung 27,854 > Ftabel 3,953 dengan signifikansi 0.000<0.05 artinya signifikansi karna kurang dari 0,05maka Hipotesis diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis terdapat pengaruh peran dosen sebagai fasilitator terhadap efektivitas belajar mahasiswa terbukti. Besarnya hubungan antara variabel peran dosen sebagai fasilitator dengan efektivitas belajar mahasiswa dapat dihitung dengan menggunakan korelasi product moment hasilnya sebesar 0,497 dimana nilai signifikansi 0,00< 0.05, besaran koefisien korelasi tersebut berada pada kategori hubungan yang lemah sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran dosen sebagai fasilitator memiliki hubungan lemah dengan efektivitas belajar mahasiswa. Koefisien determinasi variabel peran dosen sebagai fasilitator terhadap efektivitas belajar mahasiswa yang diperoleh yaitu sebesar 37%, dan sisanya sebesar 63% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain.
